I barely go to cinemas anymore cus I just never enjoyed them becausenof how loud they are, but twice in a row, I seated next or by the side of teenagers who kept recording the movie to POST IT ON THEIR INSTAGRAM STORIES AND WHATSSAPP STORIES INSTEAD OF FUXKING WATCHING THE MOVIE AND THEIR PHONE WAS ON MAX VOLUME.

The last time I went there where a group of people who where about my age at the time so 16-19 SCREAMING AT THE THEATER AND JUMPING AND YELLING HOW LAME THE MOVIE WAS people have no fucking respect anymore it seems.

I kicked the shit out of the chair of one of those fuckers and only that and my friend giving them a death stare made them stop.

I'll be bringing water guns or sprays or smt next time cus jesus christ. Idgaf if ill also be disrespectful DON'T ACT LIKE A FUCKING IDIOT ON THE CINEMA

For dragon alterhumans who play Minecraft..

I like minecraft. Most critters do. Y'know what would make it better? Being a dragon! I found this mod awhile back [Click Me for Curseforge Link] that allows you to play Minecraft, but as a dragon! I didn't really have high hopes but it actually is pretty cool. It's SUPER customizable and really changes how you go about the game, making actually playing the game more interesting (at least for me). It has different types of dragons with different abilities and stuff and its worth checking out, even if Minecraft isn't really your thing. Shaders and whatnot aren't included in the mod, and it's compatible with most mods I've played with. I HIGHLY reccomend playing with Create (Downgrade to 6.0.0) , ChoiceTheorem's Overhauled Village, Biomes O' Plenty, and JEI for a more immersive experience!!

Medical fatphobia in trans care

I have been seeing a lot of posts about how bottom/top surgeries have BMI limits. I looked into it a little bit and it does indeed exist for many providers (I've seen a limit of 32 BMI for top surgery, for instance). Trans folks, there is no medical justification for BMI limits for top or bottom surgery beyond the pearl-clutching surgery centers do about offering fat people any kind of surgery (like that fat people have a greater risk of infection/bad wound healing, are harder to safely anesthetize, etc).

I'm married to a medical doctor and posed the question about what could justify BMI limits for top or bottom surgery, and my spouse replied, "The only justification I can think of is that most anesthesiologists lack training in putting fat people safely under and surgery centers and surgeons don't want to take on the extra risk for legal reasons. There's no special reason top or bottom surgery would be riskier for fat people."

If you want to get your stomach amputated as a fat person you can find a willing surgeon and trained anesthesiologist anywhere, any time of the week, heck, your doctor has been probably dying for you to ask them to get stomach amputation surgery and has a half-dozen options ready and waiting.

But fatness is used as a barrier to getting gender-affirming care because having any surgery as a fat person is risky something something. It's straight discrimination, using fatness as an extra hurdle to prevent fat trans people from accessing important and possible life-saving gender-affirming care.

This is what activists mean when we say that intersectionality matters. You can't pick and choose your allyships. We are all connected. If you support trans folks then support fat folks and vice-versa.

also. been having a very hard week. our house was burglarized / mini invaded. no one got hurt, but my sisters iPad she uses for her online school and dad's phone got stolen, and our kitchen was semi destroyed, our rice supply was spilled everywhere and some?? eggs?? and canned stuff was stolen. After that, a family friend who was helping me with house duties got a stroke. So now I am all alone in dealing with all of this. It would be a huge mental health imrpovement, would absolutely mean the world to me if you guys can maybe help me boost my art? it's just that I love drawing and it's the only thing that's been cheering me up.
