Your AU of Hiro dieing just makes me think, okay so now what Guardian title does Hiro have? Like, he dies in the fire so summer and stuff, but he's also a genius. Guardian of Knowledge maybe?

Oooohhh my god! An AU within an AU. I love it. Yeah… maybe knowledge. Or invention or something. 

Now I’m just picturing little guardian Hiro following Tadashi around trying to get him to believe in him and Jack treats him like a little brother and Toothiana is bothered by his tooth gap and grumbles about how he should’ve gotten braces.

The fact that Mike brought up the whole "spending the rest of our lives together without never getting girlfriends" concept even in a fight is so interesting to me bc Will was not saying anything like that before like bby where did you get that idea from hm? And then Will breaks his facade by AGREEING with it and making Mike feel guilty bc now this means he was implying that HE didn't want that too just....wow...they're so gone for each other.

Same vibes come from the rink o mania fight because when Will said "and us" he was talking in a platonic way but Mike took it in a romantic way immediately as if that's something that was in his mind all along. Will even clarifies that he was talking about their friendship but he could've totally seen right through him again and asked "Wait why are you even thinking of us like that?".

I think those moments correlate with each other because both times Mike's bringing something that has many romantic undertones to their fights without meaning to and trying to make it sound like Will is the one thinking those things even tho he was the one who brought it up first bc those are things HE was thinking about.

always thinking about how season five is going to end with mike and will hugging everyone goodbye before hopping into their car and driving off into the sunset together and how mike's going to glance over att will who's going to be painted in the most gorgeous golden light (like he always is from mike's point of view) and feel his heart beat steadily in his chest because he never thought they would ever get to this point but he's so grateful that they did because he loves that boy more than anything and he knows that will loves him just as much and just as they leave hawkins behind them mike's going to reach out and lace their fingers together and they'll share the softest smile and then it'll pan over to the 'see you soon' sign as the background music fades in and the screen will fade to black and that's the end like i am constantly thinking about this

As I was drawing this I sort of imagined this being them in college; where Will moved to another state and Mike finally go to visit him. But things aren't like when they were kids - and without the rest of the party there with them, the air between them is thick with change. Not that either dares speaking it into reality. 🤍

But I don't think people understand how absolutely perfect this PowerPoint is. I saw this with my friend last Friday, and we literally could not stand because we were laughing and crying so hard. I'm telling you, there is so much more to this movie. So much. Like. Just wait until you see it. I'm going again.
