one of my friends mentioned this idea AGES ago but its been swimming around my brain so. Tetsutetsu "freezes up" (metalifies) whenever hes like flustered or really nervous. so like kiri will just give him a nice compliment or some shit and tetsu will harden and topple onto the ground like a gay statue. this could go for kirishima too but i like the idea solely for tetsu because i like having little things that separate them instead of making them carbon copies yk

monodeku moment where after the cultural festival Midoriya and Monoma both stayed after school to clean and ended up on the same train home. Midoriya is dead tired, monoma is sitting next to him, and BAM Midoriya is asleep on Monoma's shoulders. And like consider monoma being like 'he looks so comfortable, and so soft and I dont want to wake him up thats like waking up a cat' so they both end up missing their stops several times. Midoriya wakes up and is like 'OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY' and monoma is like 'its chill, youre one of the few 1-A students I actually tolerate' and then Midoriya slowly starts to notice that monoma is actually obviously pining after him all the time and then it turns into mutual pining <3

i feel like Deku/Monoma works bc Monoma acts kinda like Bakugo, except he doesn't think he's any good but values others quirks and not his own. Monoma preaches how class B is the best not himself Monoma doesn't think he is the best he honestly hates himself. He doesnt think his quirk is any good. I don't know if you remember or seen in but in the movie with Rody on it when Rody said "Oh my quirk isn't that special it's lame" and he thought Deku wouldn't wanna hear about it Deku almost immediately said "There is no such thing as a lame quirk and i wanna hear about all quirks cause all quirks are amazing do not slander yourself" not exactly like that but you get what im saying. So Deku would be the one to left Monoma up in that aspect tell him he's worth something more than what he believes he is.

omg yes! i definitely think they can have a similar vibe to bkdk without all the childhood background and trauma!!

I like this route, monoma has a confident facade but honestly is a bit insecure about his quirk and questioning his role as a hero. But, our sweet ray of sunshine izuku is there to reassure him any day that he thinks his quirk is amazing and that he will be a great hero someday

I'm thinking about how they could fall in love, obviously monoma falls first and he's very confused by the feelings and tries to mask them with rudeness but deku is just so cute!! he can't resist!! For Izuku I think it would take a bit more, becoming friends would come first so he can realize monoma is actually great company and he makes him laugh and feel good, the feelings switch naturally and it would make sense to be in love.

give me your thoughts on how their dynamics could be!! I'm getting invested in this
