More doodles of my fan designs of Tetsutetsu's parents. I liked the idea that he was the type of toddler who always bolted away when his dads looked away for like two seconds, so they had to invest in (several) child harness leashes
I also don't think it was easy to raise a kid who can turn to solid iron
theyre weird and shimi didnt know how to deal with just plain affection after they started dating, esp in public (and without intense threat of death)

so here's my wip for a Monster Hunter AU i was working on

Starlight shines through the window of the hunter's residence in Selianna, reflected through Shimi's eyes. The room was dark and quiet, unlike the rest of the steaming base which was alive with hunters grabbing drinks in the gathering hub and those working to keep the whole thing functional. Not to say she was alone though.
Another hunter lay next to her, swaddled in blankets, and loosely holding her hand. Shimi squeezes Tetsutetsu's hand, receiving one in return, like an affirmation that they're still alive despite the frigidness of the Hoarfrost Reach. She blinks slowly, taking in the warmth of her own blanket as she watches the snow fall and disappear before it can even hit the ground outside.

It's a day late but I did draw the background entirely so I think that's a fair trade off! I've always done a focus on Tetsutetsu for the shared Hard Boy birthday, and tbh
that's just cause I see lots of ones for Kiri, but rarely much non-official repostings for Tetsu! So every year I try to give him a little something, but ofc I always offer it in the style of the plot I tell with him so Shimi ends up here as well (a very potent do not separate, im pretty sure up until this year shimi was always having Tetsu around for her birthday drawings too lol!)

Tetsutetsu: Sometimes we don't even want to do anything big. Just resting is good enough.
Shimi: I don't like surprises that much when I don't feel very good, so being around someone without having to do anything is fine.

Tetsutetsu, first of all you are handsome but my question is Kirishima is known to have a quirk that he can hardened himself and it's limitless but your quirk has limit. Did u feel insecure that your quirk is not that good compared to his and afraid to live in his shadow, or do u have any ideas to make ur quirk stronger which u try to improve...and if ur are insecure then how do u deal with this??
Tetsutetsu: If you want insecure, that's Kirishima, not me. I had to tell him that his inability to facetank that Todoroki's flames wasn't something that made him any less powerful!
Tetsutetsu: Also he doesn't even eat his vegetables. I don't need to feel insecure about someone who doesn't eat his vegetables. That's where the iron is.

There is no exploration or anything of the fight between Shouto and Tetsutetsu not to mention the ramifications of it! Needless to say, Shouto came near to killing Tetsutetsu, and I as a creator who loves a good ol’ trauma exploration am not going to pass this chance up to explore the physical and mental ramifications that fight had!
Note: This is based on the manga, as this was months before the airdate of Episode 96, and thus addresses things differently than may have been if it were finished after the airing.
Shouto in this case does not tell Tetsutetsu only, “Get away.” (anime only) But tells him instead, “Get away, unless you wanna melt.” (manga translation)
