SO ABOUT THAT ANGST WHERE VIRGIL BECOMES A DRAGON: he's cowering away from roman, who's advancing on him with his sword, and logan's behind roman, encouraging him, but patton flings himself between roman and virgil and turns to virgil. "you'd never hurt me, kiddo," he says, "because we're fam-ILY. right?" he holds a hand out and turns his head away like in how to train your dragon, and virgil leans forward. the second his nose touches patton's hand, he's a human again, and pat hugs him : )
