Here’s a ⭐️ tutorial ⭐️ on my approach to drawing armor!
The Maghreb Red Fox kinda looks like those AI images of foxes where they’re made to be overly cutesy, with big, round eyes, oversized ears and slightly odd proportions;
None of these look like real creatures???
I love seeing this shot, and it's a lot of fun to replicate!
P.S. I have patreon now! It's very new, but check it out if you want more art references, bonus info, tips and shirtless clips:

obsessed with how this bird is called the purple indigobird…how did he meet the qualifications
Out like a light under my desk by my feet 🥰
Ladybug (Coccinella septempunctata) close-up. As you can see, this Coleoptera has a skull painted on its head, just like a common heavy metal band member:
Many thanks to @sarcasm-andotherstuff for her pareidolic superpowers.
February is right around the corner, which means it’s soon time for Funguary 2023! the drawing event where we draw a bunch of mushroom based characters during the month of feb.
Here’s how it works:
Each week of the month will have a theme with seven different prompts, draw something mushroom related within that theme in order to join. The themes are Weird, Mystical, Malicious and Friendly. You don’t have to complete all the prompts, just one mushroom per theme/week is plenty!
If you’re hardcore you can definitely try and finish all the prompts though ;). The challenge intensity is adjustable to what suits you. This is a chill event where the goal is to just have fun and vibe, and honor the fungi kingdom with some really cool art🍄
I invite you all to come draw mushrooms with me! Use the hashtag #Funguary when posting your creations. I’ll be posting some of the creations here, and I’ll also be hanging out in the hashtag and comment sections! Really hope y’all join and draw fungi with me🥰🍄🌿 See you all on the first of February, LETS GOOOO!!
[VIDEO AND PHOTO TAKEN: MAY 15TH, 2023 | Video and Image IDs: A video and four photos of a dark multi-colored (metallic blue, red, black, white, and orange) stilt-legged fly, waving its front legs around. In the video it is standing on a green leaf of a small plant, while in the photos it is standing on a rough grey concrete brick /End ID.]
I've never seen this kind of fly before! Apparently, the reason why it's waving its front legs around like that is because it's trying to mimic the antenna motions of a wasp, as a defense mechanism! Another interesting instance of a bug saying "Don't fuck with me" by way of dance,,,
A long time ago an anon asked my thoughts about drawing backgrounds, so I finally got around to putting this together. It’s more prop-centric, but it still represents my philosophy to backgrounds.
I’ll try to do something more about drawing actual background spaces in the future! Please let me know what you think, if anything is unclear, or if you have suggestions for other tutorials you might find helpful!
