My name is Ahmed, and I want to share my painful story with you. My small family is struggling to survive amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza. I lived a peaceful and stable life with my wife, Lubna, and our children, Mohammed, 6 years old, and Ameen, 3 years old. Our lives were full of hope until the day everything turned upside down.

One dark night, our home was completely destroyed by the violent shelling that swept through the northern part of the Strip. Losing our home was a huge shock, but it was only the beginning of a long journey of suffering. As the war intensified, we were forced to flee our home and move to the southern part of the Strip in search of safety. Leaving our home was not just a physical relocation; it was a painful goodbye to our cherished memories and dreams.

But the tragedy didn't end there. My car, which was my only source of income, was also destroyed. It wasn’t just a means of transportation—it was how I provided for my family. Without it, we have no income, and at a time when we desperately need every bit of help, we are left with nothing.

Now, my wife and I struggle every day to provide for our children under harsh living conditions. We have no permanent shelter and live in a state of uncertainty. In these difficult times, we rely on the kindness and generosity of others. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a tremendous difference in our lives. I am Hanan Al-Qazzaz, wife of Hossam Al-Qazzaz, from the Gaza Strip, and I am writing to you at a very difficult time. The war that swept our region left us with no choice but to face the painful reality. My house was demolished, my husband lost his job, my children were separated, and we were living in tents under harsh conditions.

Our health situation is in danger. My husband’s mother suffers from high blood pressure, and her health condition is deteriorating. My father-in-law suffered serious burns and is now in the hospital, which adds to our anxiety and pain. We have four children, Bashar, Hani, Diana, and Habiba, and my last daughter was born during this war just one month ago.

We urgently need your help. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference in our lives. We are looking for hope and support in these difficult times, and we hope you can lend us a helping hand.

But due to the unjust aggression, all our shops were destroyed, and we lost our source of livelihood and work completely. I was displaced from my home more than 10 times, each time trying to find a safe place, but there really is no safety here. Here we live death, fear, and loss at every moment. We love life and we always have ambitions and dreams that we hope to achieve and we are determined to achieve them as well."

Please help this beautiful family who are currently living in tents and facing a harsh and dangerous winter coming up evacuate as soon as they can for the sake of their unborn son as well as their own sakes, and read their story. They're 1/4 of a way to their goal. Get them closer, every little bit counts.
