HE  MAY  HAVE  BEEN  CHOSEN,  BUT  THAT  FATE  WAS  FAR  GREATER  THAN  HIMSELF.  A  mantle  of  responsibility  bestowed  upon  him  by  forces  beyond  his  understanding  that,  at  times,  seemed  almost  too  heavy  for  any  shoulders  to  bear.  How  could  anyone  in  his  position  not  have  doubts  ?  Not  wonder  the  reasons  why  it  was  them  and  not  someone  else  ?  NOT  BE  AFRAID  OF  NOT  BEING  ENOUGH  IN  THE  END  ?  The  questions  swirled  incessantly  in  his  mind,  each  one  more  haunting  than  the  last.

However,  courage  was  not  the  lack  of  fear,  but  continuing  despite  of  it.  And  it  was  the  moment  she  said  those  words  when  the  hero  felt  it  coming  back  to  him.  Her  calm  and  resolute  voice  carried  a  faith  that  made  the  path  ahead,  which  was  still  daunting,  now  seem  a  bit  less  insurmountable.  She  was  the  same  as  him.  Both  thrust  into  roles  that  intertwined  their  lives  with  the  destiny  of  their  land.  She  understood  what  he  was  going  through,  he  was  sure.  And  that  was  perhaps  what  gave  her  the  power  to  lift  some  of  the  weight  from  him.

❝  I  will  not  fail  you  nor  Hyrule,  princess,  ❞  Link  finally  spoke,  letting  go  of  her  hand  as  he  stood  from  his  knee  and  regained  his  full  height  ❝  I  promise  ❞  his  voice  was  soft  yet  resolute,  carrying  a  tone  of  personal  conviction  along  with  the  determination,  which  was  now  unmistakable  in  his  eyes,  that  revealed  that  his  words  were  far  more  than  a  mere  declaration  of  his  duty.  They  were  a  pledge  of  unwavering  commitment,  not  just  because  it  was  expected  of  him,  but  because  he  believed  in  the  cause.

Reading again the Twilight Princess manga has given me the urge to write things in that verse and, since I don't have any at the moment, like this for a starter ( length may vary ) from the Hero of Twilight.

Thinking about which zelda games I could add to my verses and honestly I don't think it'll go beyond Skyward Sword (because, you know, kind of fun to explore the beginning of everything) and Wind Waker (with maybe a few changes and honestly for no other reason that it being one of my favourite games along with oot and tp)

I know that in botw/totk it is the sword that gets more strength when it faces Ganon or monsters created by him but, what if it was because when it shines with its blue light Link gets somewhat connected to the spirit inside the sword (Fi) via a very subtitle melody in the back pf his mind (which are actually words he can't even understand yet) that guides his movements?

HE  REMAINED  SILENT  AS  HIS  BROWS  FURROWED  IN  THOUGHT,  doubt  filling  his  mind  as  he  contemplated  the  two  options  at  hand.  Though  perhaps  the  fact  that  he  walked  over  to  her  in  order  to  kneel  beside  her  was  answer enough of what he had decided.  An  hour  wouldn't  make  much  of  a  difference  if  she  did  discover  something  important,  and  he  would  always  be  at  her  side  to  make  sure  no  harm  ever  came  to  her  ❝  Can  I  help?  ❞  his  eyes  examined  the  stone  first  before  travelling  to  meet  hers  at  the  question.

“   oh  ...   ”      disappointment  stains  her  tone ,      a  longing  hand  lingering  upon  carved  stone ,      as  intricate  as  it  is  mysterious  .         it  seems  to  hum  beneath  her  palm  with  some  ancient  hymn ,      attempting  to  communicate  a  message  that  she  cannot  glean  .        she  can  almost  understand ,      like  a  word  caught  upon  the  tip  of  her  tongue  .      “   couldn't  we  stay  just  an  hour  longer  ?         i'm  sure  that  i'm  close  to  ...         something  .         if  i  just  had  a  little  more  time  ...   ”

I mentioned before that I'm taking from the Asoiaf books the fact that you can't spend too much time in an animal's body and that, if you do, it will change yourself because you eventually lose your human conscience until you become the animal itself for the Hero of Twilight.

So, even if I will eventually make a longer post about this, know that in that verse Link will have sharper senses, teeth more similar to a wolf's, and a more impulsive side. Also, he'll be way more into hunting and hanging out in the forest than he normally is.
