every chonny jash song is like *voice with the most autotune and layering possible* ME AT THE SUICIDE STORE *the fastest drums youve ever heard in your life* *voices in the background saying some words you arent really sure are real* ohhh my fucking god theyre arguing again *RANDOM XYLOPHONE* were like jekyll and hyde if there were 3 Of Them. and then you look at his directors commentary and hes like “gonna be honest i dont fucking know what i was doing either”

this gutted me so badly on first listen that I had genuine difficulty liking Georgie afterwards. I get where she’s coming from, but oof. just straight up telling him that Melanie deserves healing despite the mistakes she’s made and he doesn’t. local guy cannot catch a fucking break

man. whenever jon sims is a relentlessly self-sacrificing martyr everyones like STOP IT YOU’RE NOT HELPING ANYONE BY GETTING YOURSELF KILLED. and then whenever he’s doing what he has to in order to survive everyones like YOU SHOULD CONSIDER STARVING YOURSELF AND DYING INSTEAD. guy cannot win.

A closeup on the main drawing. I’ve been playing around with different designs for him, and I think this one’s pretty cool:

His scarf morphs into what the corridors would look like from above, with the pale yellow carpet and black rug described by Helen Richardson.

We got Michael in his corridors, just vibing:)))

I spent too much time on these corridors to have them completely covered up by our boy (gender neutral)
