made a chart of the straw hats' skin tones with the colors being screencapped directly from the episodes, to show how much they've lightened. this is more than just an "artstyle change" or "design evolution" or "just the timeskip" this is blatant racism/colorism. it's fucking ridiculous and i don't understand how toei is continuously getting away with it please reblog btw, i think this is something people should see
Origin of the friends to lovers trope
Mwah mwah [ they fit perfectly together ]
for @berrybreadd these are too silly
I love Neil Gaiman and his silly gay characters
It's so funny me to that Zoro acts like a sexist 13 year old boy like what is this lines
"Maybe you should go back to the kitchen" "With the two slice of bread you put"
Rosi tries to always show his carefree, happy side to Law and most other people close to him, but around Doffy, he turns gloomy and rarely smiles. he doesn't have to keep up appearances with him, because he knows he will never get abandoned by his brother. Doffy holds up family relations too high, so Rosi can be his real self around him without being afraid of facing rejection. that includes being moody, being mean, being aloof, being egoistical. Doffy nags at him, argues with him, fights him, but at the end of the day won't push him away, no matter how childish he behaves, because he's Doffy's little brother by blood. so, when Rosi smiles around Doffy, it's a genuine smile. he also feels happy around Law of course, but a lot of his cheer is forced, to make Law feel soothed and at ease. like a parent pretending everything's fine. he loves Law too much to make him worry, but with Doffy, he doesn't care. Doffy is allowed to witness his nasty side, because Rosi's opinion of Doffy is so low. His big brother can see right through him, so it's no use to keep up a farce.
I am reading Queen's Hope and Padme talked about how she trust Wookies and only thing i can think about is how Chewbacca, a wookie protected Padme's daughter and son until they died
i love shipping rhaenyra and alicent as much as the next person, especially when they seem to be non-explicitly canon now, but god, there’s something so tragic about the best friends angle of their relationship. they meet when they’re around seven years old. they’re the only young girls at court. they spend their childhood together. they are each other’s family, raised like sisters in some ways because alicent has only ever had brothers and she had to leave them behind to come to king’s landing, and rhaenyra’s siblings are all dead. they go through those awkward preteen years at the same time. they do each other’s hair and trade dresses and everyone knows you’ll never see one without the other. when they stopped being friends so abruptly, it probably felt to both of them like severing a limb. alicent has her first baby and rhaenyra avoids her and tries not to think about how they were supposed to be aunties to each other’s kids. rhaenyra loses her virginity and alicent feels a sting of betrayal that she wasn’t the first to hear about, that rhaenyra didn’t climb into her bed after and whisper it to her like they used to share all their secrets. they know each other better than anyone else in the world and rhaenyra sees how alicent winces ever so slightly when viserys touches her and just immediately knows she’s uncomfortable even though no one else in the room would ever think so because alicent has been raised to be a people pleaser. alicent sees through rhaenyra’s rebelliousness and rage throughout the rest of her teen years after they stop being friends and knows that she’s just hiding the deep hurt underneath. they never really get used to not sharing every detail of their lives with each other. once laena gets a little older and isn’t the “baby cousin” anymore, she becomes rhaenyra’s new best friend, and she’s funnier and bolder and wants to go dragon riding and rhaenyra loves her so much but laena isn’t alicent, she isn’t the girl that rhaenyra spent almost every day of her childhood with, the girl that a part of her will always know like the back of her hand. and alicent never has another friend again.
This happens while Han eats the last cookie
they're arguing over who gets to eat the last cookie
leia: i'm your sister, basically the leader of the rebellion, the brains, and the eldest.
luke: yeah okay but who blew up the Death Star? Twice? yeah, me. that's who.
I just see this in ao3 and wanted to share with all of you
Thinking about how Corazon wanted to save Law in first place because he remind of him Doflamingo and wanted to give him a chance to be a better person than his brother while Doflamingo wanted to kill Law because he remind of him Corazon which made him try to kill his brother twice
