Tilda Swinton risked arrest waving a rainbow flag in front of the Kremlin in violation of Russia’s new homosexual propaganda bill. And she wants everyone who can to reblog it in solidarity.
Guys please reblog this, it won’t ruin your blog, this is important
Yeah I really dislike Lore Olympus for that reason myself ... not just Apollo, but because the whole time of the comic is pretty rapey. Hades the “nice guy” who thinks he needs a pat on the head because he deliberately took an unconscious girl home without checking with her friends or Mom, but clearly he’s a good guy because he didn’t rape her like anyone else would have?? Apparently?? Idk to each their own and I know people have different tastes than me but it really bothered me -koko
I disliked it too for same reasons you said but this was too muchI don’t feel well and my hands are literally trembling. They should have added a serious trigger warning to it. It’s a double punch in the face. Lack of trigger warning (an a serious one, they merely said “sexual trama” since when rape is sexual trama?) and they used Apollo for this.Is such a lack of creativity to use the speech of “other men are rapist but not me” to make a character be likable. Like, cant they make Hades being a cool character just because? No, they have to reduce other gods to rapists to make him pop outThis is lame and I’m very uncomfortable :(
