Tw: mention of death
"You checked everywhere already!"
Tim said, frustrated and annoyed.
after his family discovered he was missing his spleen, he had been forced to lower his coffee intake which was a real pain in the ass. And now half of his family is rummaging through his room in search of a hidden coffee machine after Cassandra told on him and reported a strong coffee smell coming out of his room.
And look, yes Tim might have a secret hidden coffee machine, but he is the greatest mind in this house. He know how to hide something if he really wanted to and they will not find even a hint of coffee in his room.
Just to prove this point, Tim made a show of helping them turn his room upside down, walking towards his closet, that they didn't search yet to show it's emptiness.
"I told you I didn't hide any coffee machine or anything suspicious in my room!"
He said, slamming his door open in a frustrated movement only for a loud thud to be heard and nothing else as the whole room grew dead silent as each member,Tim included stared at what just fell out of his closet.
A body. And judging by it's pale bluish/greyish tone and ridgid aspect, not that fresh of a dead body. Had just slammed face first out of Tim's closet....so much for there being 'nothing suspicious in his room'
"Okay what the fuck Tim?" Jason was the first to break the silence followed by Steph "is that- are they dead dead?"
"Timmy what did you do?" Dick asked a hand over his mouth as he looked at the body in the room, judging by the size alone it probably was of someone close to Tim's age with messy black hair
"Tt Drake...I'm only surprised at how bad you are at hiding bodies" Damian said in his usual haughty tone while Bruce's eyes darted between the dead boy on the floor and Tim who was still frozen in shock staring at the same thing...or well person as everybody else
Tim would probably have responded faster if he didn't have a total of 78 hours of sleep to catch on,still once he snapped back to reality he quickly defended himself in an offended and shocked voice
"I didn't do anything! I swear I don't know this guy nor how he came here! I didn't put him here much less killed him! How could you think that!?"
Though, how the body came to be in his closet was a curious case... judging by the lack of smell the boy was dead for less than three days but seeing the rigidity of his corpse and it's color he died in the last 40 hours, problem is: Tim has been in his room for the last three days and his bathroom door which he never close when alone is right next to the closet, he would have noticed anyone coming in and stuffing a body in his closet! How did it get in here!?

Danny didn't think he'd ever say it.
But he was lost. In his own damn realm.
Embarrassing.
He 's been wondering the infinite realm for what felt like weeks and even though his ecto-biology kept him alive he could feel his human part slowly dying,
even his ghost form was exhausted barely able to keep his eyes open
How long as he been wondering without seeing a single other being? Days? Weeks? Was he going to die here? Drifting in the nothingness of infinity? As a last ditch effort Danny slumped against a random floating door praying it would lead him to somewhere safe enough to rest as his strength give out, everything was quiet and dark and faintly smelled of laundry and Danny closed his eyes letting the exhaustion wash over
dont worry, he specializes in stem (shenanigans, tomfoolery, escapades, and mischief)
Jason woke up hearing a bang. It wasn't a gunshot, it was more of something that fell.
He took a moment to look around his room before realizing it wasn't from his apartment, it was from outside. He heard another then the sound of arguing started out.
He threw on a shirt and went to the door.  He opened the door just a little and found who was making the noise.
It was a man and a woman arguing. They looked like siblings, they could be twins. The two of them had Wavy black hair. The woman had blue eyes, that seemed to shimmer with mischief ; while the Man had red.
The door was opened. it looked like they were moving boxes, which would explain the noise.
”hey everything good out here” Jason said to make his presence known.
They both turn to look at Jason.
” Yeah sorry about that, this dweeb is moving in” the woman said as she motioned to the man beside her.
”Do you need any help?” Jason questioned ”I’m Jason by the way" He opened the door all the way and moved towards them.
”Dan and the menace is Dani.” Dan said motioning to the her. “ And Thanks for the offer, the Gremlins decided that she can no longer move boxes” Dan said as he glared at what Jason assumed was his sister.
" What are you talking about? I'm totally helping.” Dani crossed her arms and glared at the man.
” you keep almost dropping the boxes on my feet” Dan pointed to them box beside his foot
” that's on purpose” Dani teased
Danny had been living a pretty good life. He was the Ghost King. His Ghostly Rogues are scheduling fights with him. His grades are improving. The GIW had just up and vanished. And Vlad hasn't been doing anything lately to challenge Danny for the title of Ghost King.
He should have been more careful. The reason for Vlad's silence was because the GIW had captured him and ended the Fruitloop. And now they have him. But nothing the GIW does can permanently end him, as the Crown of Flames and the Ring of Rage keep him alive. So the GIW had sealed Danny, which also makes his Ecto Signature impossible to detect by any type of means, and only a GIW member knows the location of where Danny was sealed.
This act alone had caused the ghosts to enact a war on the earth. The war had ravaged the planet to the point that it was inhospitable to almost anything living. So Clockwork had reset the planet. No one could be spared from the reset, as the entire dimension would destabilize and destroy itself.
Danny remains in the seal, still 16, and still a Halfa, as the Crown of Flames and the Ring of Rage sustain his Human Halfs by converting the Ectoplasm they generate into nutrients for their King. And as time passes, Danny's Ectoplasm leaks out of his seal, causing pools of Ectoplasm to be made all around the world.
The Crown of Flames and the Ring of Rage consume any humans that enter the pools of Ectoplasm and converts their bodies and souls into nutrients for their king. And occasionally, sometimes, when the person survives the pools of Ectoplasm, they are left the emotions of the King that has been sealed away by the US Government.
When Tim had blown up multiple League of Assassins bases on his journey to get Bruce out of the timestream, the explosions had caused ancient cave systems to be shifted and slowly open up pathways to the surface, but the pathways would take quite a few years before they could reach the surface.
And on Damian's 16th birthday, he is kidnapped by his mother and taken to Nanda Parbat to become the Demons Head.
As the Batfam is fighting the Assassins and Talia in the Lazarus Pit chamber, the ground beneath them crumbles, and they all tumble and fight their way down the long cave system they have found themselves in.
The cave system leads them to a very much abandoned lab with a big glowing green crystal in the center of it. And then Jason shoots the crystal, causing the crystal to crack all over (the ectoplasm in Jason had taken control of him and knew that the King would be freed if it damaged the seal that contained the King).
After who knows how long, Danny is freed from the seal, and after he regains his bearings, he looks up and sees his Dad in a bat suit. His mom has a different hair color, and he sees his own face staring right back at him along with the many other people staring at him (Danny and Damian are the same person from different timelines).
DPxDC prompt #15
Demon Twins Fic
But!
Okay, so something I've seen floated a time or 2 from DC is that when using the Lazarus Pits to revive, a person emerges completely healed of all previous injuries or illnesses. Including scars.
Now obviously fandom often plays fast and loose with this rule, given how we like to give Jason an autopsy scar and some folks also like to make him keep the J from the Joker. But let's lean into it a bit here and make it play nice with the DP side of things.
Let's say that it's the ectoplasm, even the rancid stuff in the pits, that heals all scars except Death Scars.
So if Danny was, say, revived in the Pits by Talia before she disappeared him away to an orphanage in Illinois? The Danny that shows up in Amity Park wouldn't be covered in scars from his time in the League. He'd only have the one, the Death Scar.
Similarly, the Danny that stumbles out of the portal wouldn't have any scars from his time in Amity Park. He'd only have 2, the original Death Scar and the new Lichtenberg Death Scars.
Now I've seen it done many times where the Bats/Damian realize that Danny isn't a clone because you can't clone scars. So if Danny doesn't have those scars, and if his DNA is too messed up from the ectoplasm in him to check for any "regular cloning markers"...
Danny, fresh from an autopsy table, runs to Gotham to hide. And because of his inability to walk away from someone in danger, gets found by the Bats. Whether or not they know about Damian's twin beforehand, they are quite confident that Danny is a clone. An exceptionally good clone with nearly perfect implanted memories, but a clone nonetheless. Damian is particularly enraged about this
And poor Danny, already all sorts of fucked up from growing up Damian's lesser, then Dash's punching bag, then an experiment; in the face of Bat certainty and lacking any tangible evidence to the contrary; Danny starts to believe them.
I saw bones doing this and thought it looked fun, so I wanted to try it with some stuff I came up with off the top of my head.
When Danny is in Gotham, he falls into the habit of duplicating himself to avoid suspicion from his peers. A duplicate would be out being Phantom (and fight off the ghosts that had followed him into the city). Meanwhile, he'd be trying to win over the internship at Wayne Industries.
Danny didn't account for the duplicate to be instantly adopted by the Red Hood.
Merlin: if you ever see me with the crown prince of the kingdom that kills magic users for sport, mind your business, I'm trying to get our rights back
Magical Boy Phantom! The first hero! Who could perform a magical transformation to become a hero!
It became so common that most people didn't think he was a ghost and just called him that.
Hello!!! This is some fan-art of jaemyun's DPxDC fic Who You Gonna Call?
I don't have much to say, this fic is amazing. I really liked Phantom's design in it, so here we are! I tried to incorporate some of the uncanny-ness of the guy's long arms, and I imagine him being pretty spindly? I also threw some minor head-cannons in there.
The sketches at the end are some visual concepts of Danny, Tucker, and Sam. Definitely gonna rework Sam's design if I have time between college stuff, I don't think the way it is now really looks like her.
Anyway, I am a firm believer in tall Danny(at the very least), that boy is the son of a brick building of a man. Also, I tried to incorporate a little bit of Dan-ness in his face, just because I think it would be inevitable for him not to share some resemblance as he gets older, which is my reasoning for him looking the way he does.
Either way, both Sam & Danny are probably gonna get re-vamped if I end up drawing their Gala outfits from chapter 8. Tucker will probably not, I like how his face turned out.
Blah! Whatever :D! Go read jaemyun's fic, it's amazing! Their characterization is bonkers-over-yonkers insanely good, I cannot state this enough!
There’s some very big leaps and logic the JL has decided at Marvel is a teen dad. Billy doesn’t even know how it happened. Let’s take a look at some pass incidents that have made them think this.
To start us off, the very first incident of this occurred when Batman, Superman, and Marvel were debating how old a kid should be before they become a sidekick.
Marvel: “I wasn’t even 12 when Junior came along.”
Supes: “I’m sorry, not even 12?”
Marvel: “Nope. And then it was about… two years or so later that he got his powers and we went on the fight crime together.
To Billy, that meant that he met Freddy when he was around eight and the other boy was nine. It when Billy was nine himself that he got his powers and then a year later, Freddy gained his.
To Superman and Batman, that sounded like somehow, in some way, Marvel had a kid at a max of 12 years old. It also sounds like that two-year-old got powers before it could probably even walk.
Batman and Supes: *sharing looks*
Supes: “I… I’m sorry?”
Marvel: “For what?”
Batman and Supes: *share another look*
Batman: “Nothing, Captain. We just hadn’t expected that you’d gone through something like that.”
Marvel: “Something like what?”
They didn’t answer Billy’s question because they assumed he was playing dumb.
The second incident that convinced the JL, or just Batman and Superman, of this, happened when both Marvel and Junior were at the Watchtower. It seemed like that day was a bad day for Junior’s leg, so Marvel offered to massage it. That how they ended up in the rec room watching Cartoon Network a little too intently as Marvel absentmindedly, massaged the leg draped across his lap.
Marvel and Junior: *watching Gumball or something and sipping juice boxes*
Junior: “How do you do that so well?”
Marvel: “Freddy, I’ve been doing this since I was like nine, obviously I’m gonna do it well.”
Junior: “Yeah, but how did you learn?”
Marvel: “You know that kooky doctor on 48th Street?”
Junior: “The one that’s not evil and turned like half his patients blue?”
Marvel: “Yeah, him, so on one of your really bad days, I got really desperate and really wanted to find a way to make it less bad. So I went to him and he gave me a masseuse book for a penny.”
Junior: “Oh… Cool. Do you still have that book?”
Marvel: “Yeah? It’s probably somewhere at the Rock.”
Supes; *listening from around a corner, clenching his heart because he finds them wholesome*
And it really was from Clark’s point of view. See, most of the JL assumed that Junior was born with a bad leg. After all, he’s supposed to be a demigod, isn’t he? He’s pretty much indestructible so they didn’t think he’d gotten that injury from someone or something. In Clark’s mind, he’s imagining a nine-year-old, itty-bitty Marvel with a baby Freddy massaging Freddy’s little baby leg because he was crying.
Also, Junior’s real name is Freddy? Also, Marvel was NINE when he had him??? Wait, but then how old is Marvel now? Also how old is Junior??
Supes never got an answer to these questions because he was too chicken to bring up the topic.
The third incident came from Mary and Marvel who were also at the Watchtower when this happened. The two were baking cookies together, one of the usual father-daughter activities the JL have seen them do. Specifically, they were making dark chocolate bat-shaped cookies for Batman, on the request of Robin. When Bruce found out about this, he went to go tell them to stop because he really didn’t need the cookies even if they were absolutely delicious.
That’s how he overheard their conversation.
Mary: “Do you remember mom?”
Marvel: “Uh…” *thinking* “Nope, I got nothing.”
Mary: “How?”
Marvel: “Because the last time I saw them, I was eight years old, Mary? You were too.” *whisking something in a bowl*
Bruce took that as Marvel leaving home, at a concerningly young age, for whatever reason and eventually taking Mary to see her grandparents when she was around the age he left. Either that, or he left, and took her back to visit her grandparents when she was two-years-old.
Mary: “Yeah, but I had amnesia. What’s your excuse?”
Marvel: “I was eight?” *hands her the whisk so she can lick it*
It was this incident, and the two others that shaped this idea of teen dad Marvel. Thus, using the combined brain cells of both Batman and Superman, the two came to a conclusion: for some reason, Marvel left home, during the time he left he somehow got someone pregnant and that resulted in Mary and Junior.
Either that, or he just found them on the side of the road, though, the first theory is more believable. The only problem being their ages.
If only they could find their mother… maybe she’d be willing to spill.
