more pinter dazai for your painter dazai needs
manifesting a bsd remake with a 1950 detective aesthetic pt.2 (poster from blood and sand)
IM SO HAPPY FOR THE FINALE
but catch some good old mashine herald x defender of tomorrow shi- smooch
there’s something so hopeful about akutagawa no longer being weighed down by dazai’s words and free from his inherent manipulation due to his amnesia….and with this he is able to truly show us the maximum power of his own ability, unrestrained and untainted from dazai’s expectations of him.
previously, aku was only focused on getting stronger because it was dazai who was pushing him, dazai who was experimenting with him to truly bring out the potential he saw.
but now, aku has someone else to protect. he is a “martyr” for justice, as he said when he wielded the sword. bram’s resolve has manifested into a mindset that will truly take advantage of akutagawa’s inherent nature to defend and protect. like he did with his friends in the slums. like he does with his sister.
now we will all truly get to see just how powerful he can be. what his resolve is made of.

"What does your tattoo mean????"
Sit down, I'm going to tell you a fucked up story about a fictional talking horse, or a gay nineteen-year-old furry with a cracky voice, depending on which of my knees you're asking about
"I can make like 10 of these" pleeeease do (if you want and have the time to of course!)
Sure!
- In the alternate universe, Powder is wearing Vi’s necklace from act 1 season 1.
- Jayce’s hammer is designed to resemble a butterfly when cracked open (a symbol of transformation and rebirth)
- He and Viktor break opposite legs :)) (plus Jayce’s whole journey in episode 7 is climbing to Piltover from the undercity with only one leg. Basically what Viktor did, metaphorically. Only then is he able to understand him)
- In the document Cait is checking at the end that outlines the vents, only Jayce is written as an inventor. Viktor’s name is nowhere
- In the intro, Ekko has two shadows that tick like a clock.
- Most scenes of Mel from Jayce’s eyes can be directly paralleled to earlier scenes of Viktor, frame by frame.
- There’s also this brilliant scene from s1 where Jayce is about to go on stage and sets his coffee mug directly in the viewer’s line of sight, hiding Viktor in the background. The mug has Jayce’s face on it (symbolic of Jayce overshadowing him)
- In the alternate reality, it’s shown that Powder draws Ekko on her notebook and he lets him draw on it too.
- In the final battle, they painted each other. There’s Ekkos designs all over Jinx’s body and she’s wearing his jacket in the beginning. (Plus i think she cropped his top lmao)
- The rune embedded on Jayce’s skin is right over his pulse point. // when he operates on Viktor he basically makes the hexcore his heart (which becomes a metaphor for him losing his humanity both figuratively and literally later)
- They say the rune of inspiration is what was missing from the equation all this time,, and a little before Sky dies she’s about to tell Viktor about independent research she has been doing that might be useful. She had probably found it.
- It’s possible that Cait died along with Vi in the alternate universe, since she was the one that caught them breaking in. String of fate and whatnot.
Bonus LoL fact: Jayce calls Viktor “Vee” in their canon interactions, when he gets way too enthusiastic about blasting people
George R Martin wrote “men would sooner put the realm to the torch than let a woman ascend the Iron Throne” IN THE FUCKING 90s, ABOUT A FICTIONAL MEDIEVAL WORLD WHERE MAGIC EXISTs. M E D I E VAL.
