Attention! Local bisexual confuses greed for love
I think Jayce would make a great Sophie.
Was it casual when even in your most “evolved” form that has discarded all traces of fragile humanity, as you say, you keep the last act of kindness I offered you, and wear it around yourself?
I'll color it some other day but um. Twelfth-night photoshoot, forever in my mind.
"Please, just... say something, Jayce. Anything"
so about those teasers
Not to me. Not if it’s you.
"I never asked for this"
only you.
"I can make like 10 of these" pleeeease do (if you want and have the time to of course!)
Sure!
- In the alternate universe, Powder is wearing Vi’s necklace from act 1 season 1.
- Jayce’s hammer is designed to resemble a butterfly when cracked open (a symbol of transformation and rebirth)
- He and Viktor break opposite legs :)) (plus Jayce’s whole journey in episode 7 is climbing to Piltover from the undercity with only one leg. Basically what Viktor did, metaphorically. Only then is he able to understand him)
- In the document Cait is checking at the end that outlines the vents, only Jayce is written as an inventor. Viktor’s name is nowhere
- In the intro, Ekko has two shadows that tick like a clock.
- Most scenes of Mel from Jayce’s eyes can be directly paralleled to earlier scenes of Viktor, frame by frame.
- There’s also this brilliant scene from s1 where Jayce is about to go on stage and sets his coffee mug directly in the viewer’s line of sight, hiding Viktor in the background. The mug has Jayce’s face on it (symbolic of Jayce overshadowing him)
- In the alternate reality, it’s shown that Powder draws Ekko on her notebook and he lets him draw on it too.
- In the final battle, they painted each other. There’s Ekkos designs all over Jinx’s body and she’s wearing his jacket in the beginning. (Plus i think she cropped his top lmao)
- The rune embedded on Jayce’s skin is right over his pulse point. // when he operates on Viktor he basically makes the hexcore his heart (which becomes a metaphor for him losing his humanity both figuratively and literally later)
- They say the rune of inspiration is what was missing from the equation all this time,, and a little before Sky dies she’s about to tell Viktor about independent research she has been doing that might be useful. She had probably found it.
- It’s possible that Cait died along with Vi in the alternate universe, since she was the one that caught them breaking in. String of fate and whatnot.
Bonus LoL fact: Jayce calls Viktor “Vee” in their canon interactions, when he gets way too enthusiastic about blasting people
in all timelines, in all possibilities.
not friends not lovers but a secret third thing
I get it now
Back to the beginning
“In all the timelines… Only you”
I painted this the night before the finale released but it weirdly fits… They truly broke my heart
The Price of Progress
Our hextech dream….
Communicated with said twink about their mutually undying feelings too.
twink unfumbled . twink found in every universe. twink chosen on purpose .
jayce enduring a symbolic rendition of viktor's trauma is so painful and so, so clever.
being stricken down and immobilized through sheer accident or, in viktor's case, a cruelly random quirk that caused his disability.
then physically dragging himself from the lowest level of zaun to piltover, much like how viktor spent his youth reaching toward the promise piltover offered, but only if he could "pull himself up by the boot straps" and get there on his own. socioeconomic forces working against him be damned.
i appreciate arcane reminding us of viktor's origins - the reason he is so called to help people and, eventually, save himself - and putting jayce through the ringer - the contrast between he and viktor's lived experiences is front and center throughout season 1. the writers send jayce, and the audience, on a grueling journey to contemplate those experiences and how they've manifested in these intertwined characters.
The Herald & The Souls of Zaun 💀 (based on Hiremy-Hirschl’s Souls On The Banks of the Acheron)
something something the way Jayce had to adapt and move around his new, injured leg alone and made himself a brace and staff like viktor’s, to the end where he told viktor that everyones imperfections make them who they are and that he loved viktor just the way he was, and them both having that same imperfection, that injured leg, to share… im gonna be sick someone sedate me
what’s gayer:
actual lesbian sex scene
OR!
rewriting the fabric of the universe because you as a man were destined to meet one (1) man in every dimension that has ever existed across time and space
I guess the real glorious evolution was the homoerotic yearning we made along the way
