a winter post on getting through the winter flawlessly, warm, and cozily as a dream girl β‘ if youβre interested, look at my dream girl guides for summer and autumn!
my winter looks like traveling, cabin stays, new york, adventures and activities all the while staying cozy and warm inside surrounded by christmas lights, hot chocolate, candles, shopping music, and keeping to myself looking out my floor to ceiling windows with my books and loved one.
what does your ideal winter for this year look like? ideas, moodboards
physical: winter essentials, what to wear, beauty products, winter reads and bucket lists
mental: wellness, book recommendations
like i always say: you create the definition of dream girl and it can always change. so what does your ideal winter look like?Β
have a balance of attending holiday parties, walks in the city to see the lights, indoor shopping and staying inside, in your cozy space while keeping warm with a hot beverage and a good movie/book!

why does my algo get fucked up when I follow someone? like I followed the for a reason, no need to show me posts from 5 years ago
september is here! school is back in session and fall is right around the corner, so of course this calls for a guide. iβll be talking about everything from mindset to fashion to get you ready for the cozy season! πβ
before we get into it, i highly recommend you read my dream girl guide and my study like bambi post if you havenβt already. it covers everything related to habits, self discipline, and studying tips from a straight A student that i wonβt be too specific about in this post. if you did, youβll notice that this is basically a reworked general version for school. nonetheless, enjoy this guide β‘
we will be focusing on:
new mindset. school work, reflection, friend groups, habits, how to cope with anxiety attacksβ¦
framework. how to be at the top of your game. scheduling, organization tipsβ¦
physical: vibes, outfit, hair, nails, perfumes, and vibes inspo!
declutter. room, phone, friends, old habitsβ¦
important things to know aka a send off letter from me!
affirmations
what are your priorities? #1 should be you. prioritize your happiness, health, and safety. always! this part is important because if you know whatβs right for you then you will naturally always lean towards goals and actions that are best for you! i talk more about this here.
once school is back in session it is SO EASY to fall back into bad habits and negative mindsets because of the people around you and the stress and pressure that surrounds having good grades all the while maintaining your physical & mental health.Β
now itβs time to let go of all and any limiting beliefs, negative self-talk, toxic habits and people and be the top student you are! anyone can level up.
habits to cultivate:
finding and setting up a system that works for you.
putting your needs first
getting your work done on time
paying attention in class.
donβt study until you get it right, study until you canβt get it wrong.
lessen phone usage.
self discipline. keeping up the momentum.
STEPPING UP FOR YOURSELF.
habits to let go of:
being rude to yourself. not knowing youβre always trying your best.
procrastinating
wanting to give up just because you βfailedβ
being on your phone more than doing what you enjoy. (hanging out with friends, staying to yourself, studying, getting coffeeβ¦)
letting others undermine your potential.
limiting beliefs and negative thoughts, knowing that they are not yours.
staying up all night for unnecessary reasons.
the rest is under the cut!

I have been collecting my favorite quotes for the past few years now. Many of these have gotten me through tough classes, long study nights, and reminded me to work hard for what I want most in life. Save this post and read it when you need it. But keep in mind, reading motivational quotes wonβt get your work done. It only inspires a spark of motivation. You have to actually do the work afterwards too.
If opportunity doesnβt knock, build a door (Milton Berle)
Think about exactly what you donβt want and then do the direct opposite
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing itΒ
Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs (Farrah Gray)
Without hard work, nothing grows but weeds (Gordon B. Hinckley)
Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming (John Wooden)
80% of success is just showing up
If you do what youβve always done, youβll get what youβve always gotten (Tony Robbins)
Many of lifeβs failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up (Thomas Edison)
If you really want the key to success, start by doing the opposite of what everyone else is doing (Brad Szollose)
Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough (Og Mandino)
The question isnβt who is going to let me; itβs who is going to stop me (Ayn Rand)
It is never too late to be what you might have been (George Eliot)
A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week (George Patton)
The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out (Robert Collier)
Donβt judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant (Robert Louis Stevenson)
Either you run the day or the day runs you (Jim Rohn)
The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today (H. Jackson Brown, Jr.)
Life isnβt about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself (George Bernard Shaw)
I attribute my success to this β I never gave or took any excuse (Florence Nightingale)Β
You canβt build a reputation on what you are going to do (Henry Ford)
Formula for success: rise early, work hard, strike oil (J. Paul Getty)
Success is dependent on effort (Sophocles)
Change your life today. Donβt gamble on the future, act now, without delay (Simone de Beauvoir)
Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation there is sure to be failure (Confucius)
You simply have to put one foot in front of the other and keep going. Put blinders on and plow right ahead (George Lucas)
Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day (Jim Rohn)
It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop (Confucius)
Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habitΒ
Commitment is staying true to what you said you were going to do long after the mood you said it in had left.Β
Donβt ask whatβs the least you can do to be good. Ask whatβs the most you can bare to be great.Β
Ask yourself if what you are doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.Β
Donβt study until you get it right. Study until you canβt get it wrong.Β
Get up early enough to set your intentions for the day in stone. A good morning is the beginning of a successful day. You are capable of everything you want to do today. You are strong, secure and able to achieve. There is no task too hard when you believe in every ability you hold, you are determined to hit every goal. Do not give up on yourself.
Every positive change in your life begins with a clear, unequivocal decision that you are going to either do something or stop doing something.
Hard work will never betray you.
Aggressive goals require aggressive work ethic.Β
The best way for you to predict your future is to create it (Abraham Lincoln)
The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing (Walt Disney)
The price of excellence is discipline. The cost of mediocrity is disappointment (William Arthur Ward)Β
You need to understand that studying requires extensive training. Study habits, amount of sleep, timing. Therefore, you should see it as a sport. In order to get better you need to repeat and practice. Your brain needs to be recited all this information for long term memory. Itβs a hard process, I know, but trust me youβll get there.
You get what you work for
You wonβt have this day again, so make it count.
UMMMM did i just catch you making decisions based on a MAN?? i better not have. stand up girl, thats not it.
