Crimson, an AU Zero that hails from the same universe as Seraph and Azure. 

(Copied from Kara’s RP blog, as she RPs him. You can interact with all three of them on my blog @thegatesofinfinitespace and Kara’s @overx) 

The “Crimson Wraith” is a Zero who hails from a time in the very distant future. As it turns out, life hadn’t changed that much. Humans and machines continue to be at odds, although things aren’t QUITE as they appear at first glance…

His chassis was recovered by Cial, who eventually convinced him to join her cause after filling him in on the events he’d missed. X’s alleged death, as well as the copy of him running amok were more than enough motivation to take up the sword again– even if his memories were nearly nonexistent of his former partner.

Zero or “Crimson” acts as Cial’s personal body guard and weapon, striking where she needs him to, and defending her alongside the Guardians Leviathan and Fefnir.

Zero is often accompanied by two cyber elves, Val and Hawke, who typically do most of the talking for him.

Starting this one off with Vile (Vi)-- the others will get their own posts eventually.

He is the dead flowers in a vase, an animal without a name. The remnants of a city after war. There is a familiar old fashioned feeling to him, and an isolation. You think you know him, a word on the tip of your tongue that you've never said before.

Out of place perseverance.

....is Seraph even alive after all that? We're not sure, but we're going to try to help him up.

Aaaand with that, 2022 comes to a close. 

A lot happened this year. My day job took on a turn for the more chaotic, and I had to turn to full-time work, which impacted my ability to do art greatly, and I... hate to admit it but my depression flared up far more considerably than expected because of it as well.

But despite everything, I can say with confidence that overall... this was a good art year. For everything I’ve made, I’ve been fairly satisfied with my growth, even if the majority has been spent once again on character designing, lol.

I didn’t like that I couldn’t draw as much no, but.... hey! I participated in a zine for the first time, (which you’ll get to see more of in the future), and my wife and I got into around eight Cons to host our art in, which is SO COOL. We want to do more in the future.

I know a lot of things in this preview are from things that I haven’t posted, and I would like to get better on that in the future... ^^; Maybe that’ll be a minor goal for me come 2023.

I found a super super old doodle from like 6 years ago of @rockwell-light / @overx 's Rockwell that neither of us remembered in the slightest, so naturally I redrew it! on lined paper to keep it authentic, too xD

and of course, a doodle of MZ as well for @hellscythearts / @thegatesofinfinitespace because those two are a package deal and frankly I'd be insane not to ❤️
