Why...? 

Why can’t I hate you...?

The short story is that one of the groups I was in decided to have a fantasy AU, and THUS-- I essentially plugged AUs I had already conceptualized with the wife into there.

Talon is an AU Seraph, a griffin hybrid, and the other two are Delia and Zuri (AUs of Amelia and Zain, respecitvely). 

All of my art-fight for 2021 that was attacking the wife! 

@rockwell-light are we even surprised the majority of them went to you? I’m not-

Azure!! This is my AU Cyberelf X. I like overcomplicating things, but still had fun with his design. <3 

He’s a mentor figure to Seraph, my AU Copy X, confined to Axis, otherwise known as the Resistance Base. This is due to him being forced to seal the Dark Elf in his body– Though not in the way you’d expect. As mentioned in Seraph’s bio, Cial is the villain of this story, a human with a strong hatred for most machines and imperfection. 

She wanted to seal the Dark Elf in X’s body, and use it to control the entirety of Neo Arcadia as its new ruler, and the planet beyond. Unfortunately this didn’t work as well as she’d hope, as X absconded the city injured, with the Dark Elf attempting to break free of his metal skeleton. This drained him of most of his energy, to the point where, once he found a place to hide his body, he could no longer leave cyberspace or places where he could embed himself (much like a NetNavi). 

His personality is fairly chill, though he has zero tolerance for those threatening peace. He chose to train Seraph to defeat Cial upon finding the Copy had a bone to pick with the woman as well. After revealing the location of Seraph’s (his old) Mythos armor, an armor set with adaptive properties, he parted to cyberspace to rest with the phrase, “Strike down the Maverick with extreme prejudice!”

Crimson, an AU Zero that hails from the same universe as Seraph and Azure.

The “Crimson Wraith” is a Zero who hails from a time in the very distant future. As it turns out, life hadn’t changed that much. Humans and machines continue to be at odds, although things aren’t QUITE as they appear at first glance…

His chassis was recovered by Cial, who eventually convinced him to join her cause after filling him in on the events he’d missed. X’s alleged death, as well as the copy of him running amok were more than enough motivation to take up the sword again– even if his memories were nearly nonexistent of his former partner.

Zero or “Crimson” acts as Cial’s personal body guard and weapon, striking where she needs him to, and defending her alongside the Guardians Leviathan and Fefnir.

Zero is often accompanied by two cyber elves, Val and Hawke, who typically do most of the talking for him.

Hooo boy! I made this much more complicated than I needed it to be, but it was still fun! I really like how his wings in particular came out. Seraph is ACTUALLY the Leader of the Reploid Resistance, not Ciel. There’s a whole thing for this, so I’ll just paste from bio instead of rewriting it again lol–

Seraph is built much the same way as the original X was, copied to a T, save for the fact that his core can’t quite hold up the same way, for there was no similar energy available. His wings are made of a type of anti-gravity hologram, giving him flight. He has the same copy-ability as the Hero before him, but it takes him time to switch weapons, excluding when shifting to his normal buster.

When he activates the Mythos Armor given to him, it changes his armor to gold and white, and gives him an upgrade in speed, strength, and processing power; he can shift elements in seconds, and his response time is much greater. The only drawback is that it cannot be active for much longer than thirty minutes before it starts to overexert his systems, and he’ll either overheat, or fall unconscious.

He originally had his Second Form, which had no legs and floating arms, but he discarded it after the first fight with Crimson, asking X to convert the ability towards more time for him to use his Mythos Armor.
