voting, elections, demo cracy

If we argue that by not participating in elections, we're making a statement that we reject the political system and we don't even want to take part in the system, we're being stupid

We're already a part of the political system, politics pervades the society and us

Elections give us a chance to influence the system

By not voting, you're making yourself more powerless

Developing a TLC plate in an iodine chamber. Iodine is used to view compounds with alkene functional groups (C=C) and aromatic ring systems. This is due to how iodine forms complexes with these unsaturated functional groups, giving an easily visible brown stain on the plate.

enjoy life

Do things according to your intuition, then find reasons to justify them.

Sometimes you need to do research and find reasons beforehand. While doing this, be patient. You will get whatchu want.

Be patient always. Things will happen for you. Good things will happen for you.

But also have the courage to face izzues when things don't go your way.

Don't be disappointed or distraught.

Don't get angry at people, things, or circumstances.

Understand that it was always one of the results and accept it with patience.

Enjoy life.

Pub trail run like The World's End

Why don't pubs everywhere do a tie up and have a trail run like in the movie The World's End?

Promote it all over the town, have posters of it all over the pubs, mention it in the QR menu. Ask patrons each time one gets seated if they're doing the trail run and get them interested in doing it.

Get the trail run included in online publications, blogs, travel forums, and promote the heck out of it.

Win-win for all pubs in the area.
