this is what i try to get my kids to understand, i TA for one elementary class and one college course and the prof. for rhet. comp. is so fucking cool like this and they have no idea what to do with that because they're expecting her to fail them every damn time they miss assignments bc of work or family obligations, she dont play with the slackers though she knows when they be tryin to take advantage 😭

even with my 2nd graders - if they don't get their homework sheets right or done on time, teach gives them three extra days and i grade wtv's late. its counterproductive to just call it a fail like that and then wonder why ur kids aren't learning the material.

You know what'd be really refreshing to see? A story where every main character just genuinely, openly, and purely loves each other, and nobody has a problem with it or thinks it's weird. Are they polyamorous, just intensely good friends, is it sexual, romantic, platonic? You can't tell where one ends and another begins. And whatever drama there is between the main characters is about genuinely wanting the best for each other, but disagreeing about what it is or how to get it.

Like imagine a scene where a woman sees her fiancé kiss another man on the mouth and later walks up to the man like "I see that he loves you as deeply as I love him, never dare to break his heart."

And the guy, who just put together that this must be his boyfriend's girlfriend, just goes "my lady I would push my sword through my own throat before I'd let him come to harm."

And this is just depicted as a perfectly normal way for people to talk to each other and about each other.

The problem is, the people in the fandoms who do readings don’t actually partake in spirituality. They consume these readings and do these readings to either feel like they’re closer to their fav, know more about their fav than anyone, or they think they have a spiritual soulmate connection to one of them. If they actually did tarot they would know that tarot is mutable. It’s not definite, it is meant to give you insight and clarity on what you already know about yourself and connect to your intuition. Doing tarot readings on celebrities are good practice to get used to reading and moving with energies but that doesn’t mean they’re always going to be true. I can do a reading right now and say that tomorrow I’ll meet the love of my life, I won’t take it to heart because while it is possible I do know that the universe changes as swiftly as someone changing their mind. Have you ever wanted to eat a sandwich but saw a bowl of ramen and then wanted the ramen instead? That’s how swift the energies can change and they are heavily heavily dependent on the people themselves and so many other variables. While tarot is an extremely helpful tool, using it without the basic knowledge of spirituality can be a recipe for disaster or spiritual psychosis which is why some of them on the tarot side are a bit hardcore.

I made my blog with the purpose of teaching the spiritual side of things to mitigate it but they say I’m crazy which- why are you interacting with and consuming tarot content if you don’t even believe in spirituality 🤨 anyways have a good day 🤍
