Okay, so. If becoming norted DOESN’T mean losing your free will, then what good would it do Xehanort to make Sora a vessel.

I am honestly so done with the Saix discourse around here.

Saix has Xehanort’s EYECOLOUR AND EARS for heaven’s sake. He is clearly at least influenced by Xehanort during his time in Org XIII. Not to mention he has a X carved into his forehead, X like keeping watch on people (see KH3D).

I always thought that Saix is losing more and more of himself to Xehanort, but that’s only my interpretation of course. He’s still at least partially himself, before his death in KH2, yes. He did terrible things, yes. I’m not saying those should be forgotten.

But please don’t forget, that he was also in a terrible situation and he was slowly losing his only support (= Lea). Situations have a huge impact on our decisions and behaviour, which has close to NOTHING to do with our personality. Feel free to google the fundamental attribution error on that one. Does this justify what he did? Not at all. Does this mean he shouldn’t be forgiven? Not. At. All. If he is willing to repent, then let him do it. EVERYONE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE.

Then again, I’d like to take a look at the “terrible things” Isa/Saix did. The main problem I see is his behaviour towards Roxas and Xion, who would have needed support and whose situations were clearly made worse by him. Keep in mind that he deeply believes he doesn’t feel any emotions and nobody else around him does either. The definition of empathy (according to Dorsch, Lexikon der Psychologie [translated]) is the cognitive understanding and affective reciprocation of the assumed emotions of another being. Of course Saix doesn’t have any.

The “terrible things” I don’t understand, are those other people see in his interactions with Axel? Roxas and Xion hurt Axel’s mental state way more than Saix, not on purpose of course, but I strongly doubt Saix’ goal was to hurt Axel either. Saix and Axel are ARGUING. Axel doesn’t trust Saix and vice versa. Saix is angry, he’s sad, while he doesn’t acknowledge any of it. He tries to keep Axel close with their shared goal. With pressure, yes, which he didn’t have to, but they are still arguing, remember. There’s still a strong, unresolved conflict in between them. Don’t try to tell me, you’re always kind and caring in an argument, dear haters. Because BY SHARING HATE YOU ALREADY ARE CAUSING DAMAGE TO OTHER PEOPLE. I felt uneasy and irritated, I had sleepless hours thanks to those Saix hate posts. YOU caused me harm with your unnecessary discourse.

So what does this say about you? Shouldn’t you be forgiven?

Akusaimonth: Berserk Mode Day 22: Hair 2/2

Hair. Hair. Hair, I ALWAYS loved drawing hair *3* Especially if it's flowing and silky and awwwwwww. (I can spend hours and hours on colouring hair ... and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours) A KaKAO card again. :) Done with coloured pencils.

I was told that those cards seem bigger on screen then they are, so the second picture is meant as a scale. Note that this is already a maxi card, which means two cards in one. An actual KaKAO card is half the size. I plan maxi cards always in a way that they could be separated, but I seriously don't want to cut those two apart. Ever. =_="

Mizuki is just too precious ( T ^ T) I honestly just want him to be happy.

I wanted to draw Mizuki ever since I started watching the DMMD anime. It had about 5 episodes back then, and I was just thinking “Ah, yes, this guy is my favourite character”, when Aoba got a call from Koujaku, saying MIZUKI’S DISSAPPEARED. Yeah, thanks, darling.

(More babbling below the cut, I write way too much.)

I watched the whole DMMD anime just because I wanted to see Aoba saving Mizuki, but all I got was one picture of him smiling (which is honestly better than nothing). So I wanted to see his waking up scene in the game, but I only found one video – that had spanish subtitles. That was really lucky though, because I got so pissed, that I just watched the route of my fave boyfriend (Can you guess which one it is? It’s so painfully obvious …) and this finally got me into DMMD as a whole. In the meantime there are two of the boyfriends, that I like even more (but I still ship only one with Aoba, haha), but Mizuki’s still … way too precious for all this.

(By the way, in the end I watched the spanish video. I found a english transcribtion of Mizuki’s good end and read that while watching the video. … Honestly this was the most mental exhausting thing I’ve ever done. Trying to pay attention to three foreign languages when I only spoke one of them … Whew.)

You know, I was going to say, that I procrastinated uploading this pic for almost a month (since March 7th, Mizuki’s birthday), but I procrastinated drawing it for almost two years in the first place so I guess those few days don’t make much difference anymore.

Ira suffers so much, he feels an immense guilt over his actions, still he carries on, because he knows (was led to believe) that this is the only way to save the world. Of all of the Foretellers, he's the most selfless. He consciously acts against his personal believes and wishes in order to fulfill the higher goal. He can’t even allow himself to feel anymore, because he knows, it’d break him.

… I wish he had someone who was there for him and gave him strength when he needs it. It’s so sad to see him like that.

AkuSaiMonth 2022

For anyone wondering what's up: I was asked if I would hold an AkuSaiMonth event this year and after a lot of deliberation I decided to ask for permission from @misomilk (you know, the original creator of the event!) and go for it!

Personally, I think it's a pretty fun format this year, because not only is it a bingo card (like 2015), but the BINGO CARDS HAVE RANDOMIZED PROMPT ORDERS! How cool is that?? I'm very excited about this, yes x'D

I actually missed the entire event, but @laytonbrothersbirthdaybash is the reason I dug up this old sketch from 2015 and actually finished it. THIS GAME IS STILL SO GOOD, I LOVE IT AND I LOVE ALFENDI.

"What is that?" "That is a cat. His name's Lea, got it memorized?" "You call a cat after yourself?" "Yup, didn't want you to be all alone, while I'm on vacation with my parents." "That - that's the stupiest thing I've ever-" "U-hu, take good care of him. See you in three weeks!" "Lea, wait! LEA!!"

And that's the story how Isa's got a cat. :D

Imagine, he always acts as though the cat was getting on his nerves and he doesn't like cats anyway, but he has no other choice than to look after it, for Lea. Still he won't call it "Lea", that's for sure! He'd give it some original, creative name like ... "Luna"! xDD So, he'd never admit, that he actually likes the cat, but when noone's around he'd play with it and pet it and spend every free minute with his new little kitten and sometimes he would call it by it's real name, but he'd always wisper when he does so, just to make sure nobody hears it, even though he's absolutely alone at home. And the cat loves him of course and always cuddles up to him – and then bites him, because cats do that sometimes. xD
