So one thing I really like about the minor details of the world of Hetalia are the Mr. Newspapers. The dude that delivers newspapers to the public and there’s one for every country

I very loosely modeled his clothes after Pony Express riders that delivered papers back in 1800’s America, that’s why I gave him a little pony as another hint to that ^^

He’s also a huge Yankee fan

I don’t ship RusAme, but it’d be so funny to imagine the conversation America would have with England and France. America comes home, France and England are at the table, it’s 12 A.M.

England: and where have you been, young man?

America: … friend’s house

France: Ohonhon, which friend would that be

Somebody replaced the Hetalia musical songs with “Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan and it fits so well

Little headcanon

Even though the two have had rough patches, I imagine Austria still occasionally calls Italy to see how he’s doing bc some part of him still feels like a father to him. And Kugelmugel looks up to Italy as an older brother of sorts bc they were both raised by Austria (even tho by the time Kugelmugel was created Italy has already moved out and was a country).

Italy also slips up and accidentally calls Austria “father”, though it’s very rare.
