The fact that I somehow missed this actual masterpiece is a crime and a damn shame and I cannot believe myself. Just?? The way you write them,,, absolute perfection. I don’t know how to describe it, but their interaction, their voices, their banter are all supremely immaculate and I’m in pure awe.

Just,,, Katsuki realizing that knowing someone for as long as he has Kari means they know your next move maybe even better than you do, Kari’s incessant teasing, them cuddling?? Bye, I am simply deceased, they are far too adorable for this world. Kari just opening his arms and baiting Katsuki into hugging him?? Perfection, I love it.

Katsuki not pulling away from Kari’s kisses because he craves affection is just,,, adorable. The whole thing with Kari being weaker than Katsuki but still holding him anyways 😭 please, Your Honor, they’re in love. And the part where Kari teases Katsuki about Deku is fantastic, especially the part where he insinuated Deku was salty he wasn’t the one dating Katsuki - that had me laughing so hard.

And the end?? Where Kari takes such pride in dating Katsuki to the point where he brags about it and the whole “I’d never, Katsuki”?? Please, I am deceased, he is just?? so in love with Katsuki and he’s proud of it and he’ll never deny Katsuki what he wants because he’s just?? so?? in love??

That’s the annoying thing about living with and dating someone who’s known you since you were a middle schooler— they know you far, far too well to not predict your movements. He says, “Stop guessing my problems for the day, bastard.”

“But it’s such a fun game,” Kariage teases, setting aside his bag on the couch before opening his arms wide. “C’mon, tell me.”

“You seriously think I’m letting you hold me?”

Here’s my first artwork for the Undercut-verse!! It took awhile only because of the sheer complexity of Seika’s character design (i.e. the patterns and her facial features), so hopefully I’ll be able to design the rest of the Katsucrew girls faster! 

It might take me a bit to draw Kariage and Yasushi, mainly because I have difficulty drawing males, but the whole crew will be done eventually! Seika’s character profile is also going to be the next one I’m going to post!!

Me, broke: oh yeah, Deku’s kinda neutral towards Kariage, and only a little bit jealous about the fact that despite knowing Katsuki for longer, he’ll never be as close to him as Kariage, who’s only known him a fraction of the time, is. However, because he has a good heart, he’s just happy that Katsuki has a good enough friend to be vulnerable with :)))

Oh God, I love it so much, it has so many delicious elements - jealous/angry Deku, oblivious Bakugou and possessive/smug Kariage. Amazing.

During Middle School Kariage didn’t really notice anything amiss, him and Katsuki weren’t that keen on PDA or even revealing that they were in a relationship so to everyone else it just seemed like they were friends, not even close friends at that since they kept their distance while in public. Kariage often overheard people call them Katsuki’s followers and he couldn’t help but laugh at the title cause to him it was ridiculous. He couldn’t believe that people were so blinded by the front Katsuki put up that they really thought he couldn’t have any real friends. Ridiculous.

But then Katsuki and he go to separate High Schools - UA for Katsuki, of course, and an art school for Kariage - and the lack of PDA still doesn’t bother them. 

Until the Sport’s Festival.

Katsuki got a spare ticket and of course he invited his boyfriend and Kariage was more than happy to watch him fight, he knew his Katsuki would win anyways and he wanted to be there and give him a congratulatory kiss when he did.

After the fights started he decided to leave his seat and go find Katsuki; it’s not like he wasn’t used to sneaking around into places he didn’t belong. He just wanted to wish him luck - not in those words, of course, he’d get his damn face blown off if he ever insinuated Katsuki needed stupid shit like luck.

And soon he found the booth Katsuki was in and he was surrounded by the 1A Class. 

When he walked in he first saw Katsuki’s face, that adorable little frown was right in place and everyone seemed to be yelling over each other as they talked, seemingly making some stupid comments towards Katsuki. Kariage had no problem interrupting all that bullshit and calling out his name

And like magic, Katsuki’s frown disappeared and his features calmed down as everyone quieted down and watched as Katsuki turned his head while Kariage walked towards him.

“You’re not supposed to be here, dumbass.”

“Yeah, yeah, as if I care.”

And then he leaned in, placing his hand on Katsuki’s cheek and kissed him.

He was pretty sure someone fell of their seat but Kariage just sat down next to him and placed an arm around his shoulder.

With a glance to the side he noticed a pair of curious green eyes on them, those eyes got filled with something... strange, something a bit more angry, when Kariage squeezed Katsuki closer to his side.

Kariage smirked.

Interesting.

It seemed as if after that Kariage saw Midoriya everywhere, he was almost concerned with how frequently he and Katsuki ran into him but he thought nothing of it. He was too busy pulling Katsuki closer and kissing him and revelling in the look of fury crossing Midoriya’s features whenever they saw him, after all.

It was exhilirating. It honestly did wonders for his ego, the fact that this sweet kid was angry that his childhood friend, the most explosive and stubborn person known to man, was letting himself be soft with someone that he’d only known half the amount of years he’d known Midoriya.

Soon he started to make sure Katsuki had his marks on him too, his neck and chest were always covered in hickeys, insuring that everyone, especially Midoriya, will know he’s spoken for.

Once they moved into the dorms (and Kariage stopped panicking whenever he didn’t see Katsuki for more than a day) it was harder for them to see each other but luckily Katsuki managed to get permission to both leave the dorms and have Kariage come visit him.

And so Kariage got the absolute pleasure of talking Katsuki into joining a movie night - a thing he’d never joined before - with minimal grumbling and then they took up a corner of the couch where Katsuki practically sat in his lap during the whole thing before finally falling asleep on his chest, his hand gripping Kariage’s hoodie and his face lax and completely calm; beautiful as always.

He looked up at that moment, watching as Midoriya lifted his jealous gaze from Katsuki’s face to Kariage’s. And as their eyes met Kariage smirked, leaning in close and pressing a kiss to Katsuki’s forehead before he winked.

He had to bite his lip to hold in a burst of laughter at the expression on Midoriya’s face.

Oh, wow, not me answering asks twelve years late - never that! Okay, but for real, I’ve lowkey been thinking about a Skater Katsucrew AU for awhile now. I’m probably never gonna write something for it, at least not now, what with my busy as fuck schedule, but!! It makes me happy to rant about, so I’ll guess I’ll just do that dkfjhdjsk

Okay, so!! Kariage’s your classic skateboarder. He made his first one out of old scrap wood and bought his first real one years later after he fell in love and decided to save up for one. He’s got a bunch of scars from falling and the rough edges of his homemade board scratching him. He’s really into doing complicated tricks, mostly to impress Katsuki, but mostly enjoys how learning and rehearsing his moves will take him out of his own head for a few hours. It’s relaxing to him.

Yasushi is a longboarder. He’s knows a few tricks, but mostly prefers cruising - especially down empty roads or on his way home from school, where there’s not that much foot traffic. He learned because he got jealous of Kariage’s interest in skateboarding when they were kids, but made the switch to the more casual board after a bad fall.

Mito’s a biker. Solidly built with thick tires and a more filled out frame, her bike looks like a mainstream dirt bike, but that’s mostly because she built it to withstand some pretty harsh crashes. She doesn’t know too many tricks, mostly because her bike’s too big for doing most of them without her screwing up or falling, but she loves having races with anyone who’ll go against her.

Henshuu has a scooter. She’s not that interested in using it for tricks or to try to impress people, and she is fully aware that riding on it makes people think she’s younger than she is, especially combined with her stature and baby face. However, she loves how easy it is to cruise on it for hours and to get places fairly quick - plus, it also serves as a perfect opportunity to hit someone’s ankles when they’re being annoying.

Katsuki has inline skates. This may be surprising to most people, since he so much looks like someone who’d use some other sort of wheels, but it actually fits him best. He doesn’t like riding bikes or scooters because it requires the use of hands and he prefers to keep his free, and having his wheels firmly attached to shoes that can’t come off with ease makes it effortless to do tricks and seamless moves without a second thought.

Seika’s a rollerskater. She’s a very clumsy person by nature, so having the four wheels set in two rows instead of one helps her maintain her balance easier. She loves doing competitive roller derby, often serving as her team’s jammer since she’s the fastest and most flexible on account of her small size, and it’s not rare to see her practicing evasive maneuvers and racing her friends to get better.

Hifue is a figure skater. She’s got that fancy feel, y’know? I don’t know, but the vibe of her dressed in fancy silk and sequins, spinning and dancing and moving like she is so in tune with her body, effortlessly like she was made for it - it’s perfect. Figure skating for her is not simply a skill to master or a way to make people ooh and ahh, it’s a way of life to her, something so ingrained that being off the ice feels foreign.

Anyways!! In this AU, I’m imagining that the squad starts off split up. You’ve got Kari’s gang: him and Yasu and Mito, just a bunch of bad kids on boards and a bike. They’re known as those kids who practically live at the skate park, and you can’t live around their neighborhood without seeing them cruising the empty streets at night laughing at the top of their lungs at least once.

Then, comes Katsuki’s crew. It’s odd, seeing him and Seika and Henshuu together - they don’t really fit as well as most people think friends should: Katsuki’s loud and brash, Seika’s shy and sweet, and Henshuu’s bold and sly. But Katsuki and Seika’s similar styles and Henshuu’s incessant butting in brought them together as friends.

The two group collide when Katsuki decides to skate at the slightly derelict park that Kariage frequents. Immediately, Kariage is intrigued by Katsuki, who slouches with a hand on his hip, barely reaching Kari’s shoulder because of the one row skates he wears, scrunching his nose at the sight of the board that rests against Kariage’s hip. Immediately, Katsuki wants to leave, not wanting to associate with wannabe skater kids, but Seika and Henshuu are already so enamored with Mito, and now he can’t leave.

Things go on, and eventually the kids start hanging out more and more, especially after Kariage quite frankly shocked Katsuki with his skateboarding skills - not that he’d admit it or anything, but Kari can see the twitch of Katsuki’s eyebrows and the light in his eyes and he smirks because Katsuki’s not as slick as he thinks, trying to hide his amazement.

Then, Seika, ever the sweetheart, brings in a new member - Hifue, who’s stiff and slightly uncomfortable, who slowly relaxes and who eventually becomes best friends with the crew, who takes note of the risks her friends take when riding and incorporates more daring flips and tricks into her routine and becomes even better at her sport than she ever thought, now that she has friends who inspire her to step outside the box and think freely.

Plus!! Just thinking of little baby Kanji, trying out skateboarding with her brother holding her hand and the whole crew cheering the first time she manages to land and flip - it’s gonna make my heart explode from the sheer cuteness.

Hi! I just wanted to drop a headcannon I'm currently finding motivation to write here because I'm still new on the discord server and stated before that I get panicked easily!

Imagine this: Kariage and Katsuki gave each other promise rings in middle school but they lost contact when Katsuki went to UA... Kariage on the other hand, became a popular singer or something and he has lots of fangirls, but despite that he's still loyal to Katsuki and wants to find him again like a modern day Romeo and Juliet. He wears the promise ring and his fans starts to notice and ofc there are *THOSE* fangirls that try and buy matching ones... What they didn't know was that the promise ring Kariage wore had a vow or sentence that only he and Katsuki knew... Now back to Katsuki, he rarely wears the promise ring but he still kept it and polished it and the only ones who realised that Katsuki was wearing the ring were Momo and Deku but they decided to leave it be

OK, now onto how they're reunited...basically the fangirls are getting wild so Kariage finally revealed that he has a lover but won't say who... So one day he decides to have a little concert at UA because they really need something fun (also because he knew Katsuki was there)... He was allowed a tour in the school and let's say, coincidentally Katsuki walks by and Kariage sees him and he grabs Katsuki and makes him turn towards Kariage so he could see his face... Now, Katsuki wanted to yell at him but then realised it was Kariage so he of course was shocked and said "Holy sh*t- Kariage-?" and then Kariage just smirks and then everyone else is just shocked and Kariage just says "Hello Strawberry" (OK but imagine Strawberry as a nickname because what if Katsuki was a sucker for strawberry flavored things-) and then they kiss in front of everyone and they are just like- so shocked because our local angry Pomeranian??? With famous singer Kariage???

As for your little concept - its super cute!! I love thinking of all different types of AUs when it comes to these two, but this one is interesting!! I really do like the concept of Kariage and Katsuki exchanging promise rings (I have a century old concept of Kari proposing to Katsuki at a festival which has been in the works for,,, forever) and the idea of the two of them being in a secret relationship and/or losing contact is!! just!! one of my favorite things to think about, to be honest, because of the sheer amount of possibilities. Especially if you add in some good ol’ Dadzawa, ya feel? 👀

And, the concept of Kari calling Katsuki every type of pet name to show his love and affection? Your Honor, I love them so. Thanks for sending this in!! It gave me just the right amount of serotonin <33

Him immediately having regrets about allowing Katsuki to be around Kariage when he finds out that they’re MORE than friends???? Honestly? I think that Aizawa would hate Kariage at first, like he would pull Katsuki to the side after he meets him and he’d go ‘Are you sure? Like... That’s who you wanna hang out with? Please reconsider, I love you but you’re an idiot and I will not hesitate to punch you in the face.’ All the while Kariage is just standing a few feet away behind Katsuki, looking straight at Aizawa and giving him a little wave before he smirks and pulls out a cigarette. Aizawa has to close his eyes to stop himself from actually harming a teenager.

Meanwhile, Katsuki is completely and utterly oblivious as to why Aizawa is even acting concerned and he has no idea about the amount of tension between him and Kariage. He’s just trying not to smile while being like ‘can’t believe they finally met and they love each other, this is the best day of my life :D.’

Aizawa later talks to Kariage and tells him to be careful with the way he behaves around his so-student, his student because he doesn’t want this delinquent corrupting him in any way, shape or form.

But Kariage just waves him off and rolls his eyes, ‘yeah, yeah, old man, get off my back, I’d never hurt the precious little princess.’

Aizawa’s temples throb.

Fucking... princess? He’s going to punch him, he just knows he is.

But he leaves it alone and he moves on, he can’t force Katsuki to leave his friend behind, especially when he knows how hard it is for the kid to make friends in the first place. And he can’t deny that he looks really relaxed around that.... boy.

It’s not until Katsuki brings him to the dorms and Aizawa walks into the common room only to find Katsuki straddling the guy while they make out that he realizes they’re not just friends.

!!! Hi, yes, I’d like to establish that Kari calling Katsuki any and all petnames currently occupies every braincell I have to spare. Like, the concept of Katsuki, someone most people see as this tough, uber masculine guy just absolutely melting at being called baby and honey, and angel? It’s perfect, it’s literally so freaking amazing and I love it.

And, I absolutely adore how no one says a thing about it. They hear Katsuki be called these sugar sweet terms of endearment and immediately wanna tease him, but then, they see him smile? They see him blush bright red and look away shyly with a small, cute smile and gently shove and Kariage, and he’s looks so happy. Aizawa and the Bakusquad can’t find it in themselves to take that away, and I love that. 

Because, with all the shit Katsuki’s had to deal with and been put through, all the pain and shame and hurt, he deserves everything good. And, if a little petname or two make him happy then that’s perfectly okay.

Hey, I hope school gets better for you, soon! I can definitely relate to the stress and it sucks that you have to deal with that >:( Regardless, I got a headcanon for Kariage, if that's cool! Personally, he gives me the vibe of someone who uses a million and one petnames for his partner, and Baku would 100% be subject to this. I just find it so cute to think about how Baku would react to all the cutesy nicknames and how *others*, like the Bakusquad and Aizawa, would react to them as well! :)

He just has that energy of someone who’s incredibly cocky, very confident and likes to tease and toy with people, that’s the reason he first uses pet-names, he just likes the way it makes Katsuki stutter and blush and tell him to fuck off.

But then, once they get together, he does it because he knows fine well how much Katsuki loves it. He knows because he’s seen that soft little smile that appears on Katsuki’s face whenever he calls him anything remotely sweet.

So he calls him baby, sweetheart, angel, anything and everything he can think of, just to get Katsuki to smile at him like that.

And I think that the first time the class/Aizawa hear Kariage call him pet-names they’re so damn ready to tease him. They’re already thinking of what they’re going to say at him, a lot of them are a few seconds away from laughing at the scene. But then they see the way Katsuki reacts, the smile, the blush, the way he looks down at the floor and bites his lip and slaps Kariage’s shoulder, the taller boy just looking down at him and smiling all proud and smug, and suddenly they have nothing to say. They know that if they say anything, if they do something awful as laugh, it would affect Katsuki, it would make him feel embarrassed and ashamed of liking something as sweet and soft as pet-names. So they keep their mouths shut and pretend they didn’t hear or see anything.

Ooh, okay so it’s been a good. Three months since I’ve posted anything haha whoops. Anyways, I’m just posting this to let everyone (who’re not in the server) that I’m still alive - I just have not been very active. Yikes.

Yeah, so my lack of activity is mostly because my work schedule kind of ramped up and my diploma work has gotten increasingly more difficult (sigh). My computer, which is what I use 99% of the time to write with, also broke and I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get it fixed. In the time since I haven’t posted, my adoration for both KariBaku and the Katsucrew waned enough that it went on the backburner of my interests, especially since I got super into Attack on Titan for a good while (still am, to be honest).

However!! I’ve recently (aka like. two days ago) reawakened my obsession with this little ‘verse of mine so!! I’m not gonna make any promises about how much I’ll post, or when I can finally get around to actually fleshing out my fics, but I’ll be answering ALL of the asks I have in my inbox (some that’ve been there for months, sheesh) and I’ll be making attempts at posting more, including some of the backlog of drafts I have!!

So, yeah, in summary: I love each and every one of you guys for putting up with my lack of posting and lapse of interest <33
