This Game Is Trying To KILL ME.......

My brilliant friend pointed out to me that in the very first triailer for KH3, this is what we see:

That’s right, Eraqus’s keyblade. And why that Keyblade? Why not Aqua’s? Or Ven’s? Why is that so important you ask?

Because of this. Aqua knew this was going to happen, and that Sora was her only hope. So she sent her keyblade away, so that Xehanort wouldn’t be able to get the one person she was still trying to protect.

Also, an important moment to remember is this from the 0.2 Opening cutscene.

It wasn’t a tease or clickbait. It was her giving Sora the necessary means to save Ventus.
