so today I was in percussion ensemble for first period and we were working on individual stuff based on our worst instrument (ours was timpani bc we have never played it in our lives ever)

and we went to take a break and grab some water from our bag and we were talking to a friend while we did so and when we reached in there

“YYYEEEEEOOOOOOUUUUUCCCCHHHH”

worst papercut of my life.

I retract my hand and dear god why did it IMMEDIATELY start bleeding ok that’s gross ummmm

I went over to grab a paper towel and hold it over the cut and my band director was nearby

the following interaction ensued

me: [band director] I’m bleeding

band director, after a moment of just *staring* at me: …stop 😟

and I was just. what. absolutely hilarious in hindsight but in the moment I was so bewildered

he did not have any bandaids for me I had to walk to the clinic to get some

anyways that’s my band director story of the day thank u chat

this is Fuuka, technically an MHA expy of our HNK oc fire opal but shhh

her quirk is matchbox, basically:

the pads of her fingers r the strikers of the match, and the very tips of her fingers r the matches themselves, specifically the part that actually yk catches on fire

the flames themselves are about the size of a match’s flame, HOWEVER. u pair that with a bottle of hairspray and u get a whoooole other situation

she has a dead childhood friend who was going to attend UA with her and they were gonna become heroes together until they died and her whole first year and half of her second year she was full of unbridled rage over this

lucky for her tho, she was not alone! bc of how awesome sauce her classmates were she was able to soften up and chill out and eventually pull herself together and move on

she has a shrine dedicated to Pikari (the friend) in her dorm and if ur lucky she’ll tell u all about them and funny stories she has from childhood with them

she’s also a transfem icon I love her more than anything her current bestie for life is another one of my friend’s ocs and they’re my favorite duo of all fucking time they’re everything to me

Well obviously I can’t have chronic fatigue, that’s a real problem for real disabled people that’s diagnosed by doctors probably. Clearly I just have some sort of perpetual exhaustion issue, that is also almost certainly my fault somehow

So many people said they voted for Trump, put a truly evil person in power, because he said he'd fix the economy, and a little voice in my head is going, "Isn't that what happened with fucking Hitler??"
