you don't need to be productive all the time. you deserve to take breaks. you don't need to try and fill every small gap with something productive to do. you are allowed to just sit on the bus and stare out of the window or listen to music or whatever you'd like, there's no need for you to use every small moment for revising or learning. you are allowed to use all those moments to just relax and breathe, and you should.
Hey so this his very important.
I live in Argentina. And it’s not very spreaded across media as much as Australia was and many other places (that don’t get as reblogged and shared and helped) but I really need y’all help. I need all of your support and donations.
There’s a lot of organizations trying to recolect medical supplies for the animals affected and trying to get some adopted or fostering and also rescuing.
We really need your help cause some assholes decided to start burning down the trees and forests in Córdoba mainly but a lot of other provinces too. Córdoba is one of the provinces affected by the fires, more than 3,500 hectares burned and thousands of dead species that cannot escape. Entre Ríos and Santa Fe and Catamarca are other of the provinces affected by these fires and situation caused. The media isn’t showing not even half of it as always.
There’s not a law that protects what’s happening from not occurring and there’s a go fund me to sign a petition to make the law to protect, it would mean the world to Argentina if you can help and sign.
Please share and reblog this and if you can please donate (look up the money currency difference and help) and spread it.
Here I’ll leave the info of all the organizations to donate to while as well too Green Peace is trying to get help. It will mean the world for me and the rest of people that live in Argentina and most importantly animals and nature.

it’s just fucking SICK how white men can show up to public buildings with guns and police just stand and stare ... white women will scream at minorities and protest for their rights to get haircuts and police won’t do anything ... but say that black people should be treated like people and fucking tear gas and rubber bullets come out. when people say black lives matter, it’s a reminder because police keep acting like black lives are meaningless. every fucking day.

The world of academia is considered highly male centric despite that the aesthetic seems to be dominated by young queer women. I am not a fan of Donna Tartt so I have collected alternatives from my own collection of books and a few from friends and family. Some of the books may not be exactly “dark academia” or a set academic aesthetic but they all address female experiences and are academically acclaimed.
he lays there
in that dark embrace
with salt coated lungs
and a rotting tongue
he still sees
the sunlight holding
his body and laying
him down so gently
and when the
cold rushes in and
he can do nothing,
that golden boy
will cradle his
body, crumbling at the
touch, and he’ll laugh
one last time
- because he could never outshine a star
hello there! i’m a new writeblr joining the community and even though it’s a bit nerve-racking, the whole point of this blog is to push myself, so here goes.
my name is ayla, i’m 21, queer and a creative writing student in london. i typically write ya/na fantasy and romance and i have way too many active projects at the moment. my mother tongue is german so i grew up writing lots in german but when i was about 14 i really fell in love with the english language and i have always written in english since.
i have a habit of procrastinating and not writing when i actually should be. i really want to use this blog to write more, ideally daily, even if it’s just some ramblings about my day. i also want to attempt nanowrimo for the first time ever this year and want to write about my experience and progress. i want to be able to come back to this blog in the future and see how much i’ve grown as a writer and to share my journey.
i will post mainly my writing, moodboards, inspiration and hopefully the odd bit of writing advice (although i’m not sure i feel qualified to give out advice just yet).
i don’t have many writer friends so i’d love to get to know new people! if you’re another writeblr, reblog this and i’ll follow you! i follow from my personal blog @chamilsanya. thanks!
too busy daydreaming about curling up with a book to curl up with a book
on all levels except physical i am lying face down on moss
We’re being “dramatic” for Breonna Taylor.
For Ahmaud Arbery.
For George Floyd.
For Tony McDade.
For the people who lost their siblings.
For the people who lost their children.
For the people who lost their parents.
For the people who lost their lives.
We’re being “dramatic” because people died. Because people suffered.
New rule, non muslims can’t say the word jihad. Until you stop conflating a word that means personal struggle with faith and temptation with terrorism youre just not allowed to say it.
