Three: if you’re not going to be at least a little gay and dramatic about it, why do it at all

Four: creature who is also a man who should probably not be allowed a space/time ship for the health and safety of the universe

Five: someone test this man for something, no one passes out/falls down that much with out there being something going on there

Six: guy with the worlds worst (best) coat

Seven: if a mouse trap could also be an alien with an umbrella

Eight: your grandma loves him, but he will leave her house and commit at least one atrocity that he never speaks of again (he probably forgot)

Nine: a fun guy who very desperately needs a therapist

Ten: was in love once and makes it everyone else’s problem

Eleven: excitable puppy that may or may not also be an eldritch horror (you get to find out the hard way)

Twelve: punk grandpa who want to stop having moral quandaries

Thirteen: excitable puppy who is an eldritch horror, just not in the way she thinks

I can’t stop thinking about the role of the audience in genloss. Is the viewer complicit in Showfall’s crime? Or are they too, being manipulated? Every time the audience was referred to in an accusatory way, and it was kinda implied that they were to blame for the choices they made. But the one pointing that blame, was Showfall itself. Who we all know is sus af.

Those audience choices were intentionally rigged, right? You’re given option A) a bad thing happens, or option B) another bad thing huh. No matter what you choose, someone dies. Just like the choices that the characters made, all still led to the same fucked up situations. And who still points the blame - fucking Showfall.

In that final scene, the audience listens to gl!Ranboo. It’s haunting, in a way. Initially they vote for him to live, to have another chance to break free. They choose mercy, escape, keep trying please. They want him to have another chance: very different to the heartless image Showfall is implying.

Than gl!Ranboo begs to die, and they listen again. They vote die, and it’s the mercy he selected. And it’s their fault: you made a choice, viewer. But who made the options for that poll to begin with? And so, how can you not say that the Audience was also part of the manipulation. Yet another fourth wall that wasn’t able to be broken.

I don't need the diagnosis for myself. I need it so people actually take me and my needs seriously :D

Something that makes me excited to finally get an official answer as to whether I have ADHD or not after being pretty confident I do for half a decade now is that I'll finally be able to explicitly call people out on their regular ableist exploitation of what was very likely executive dysfunction.

The most common manifestation of this would be whenever I'd tell my parents I was bored and/or wanted to do something fun with them.

The answers were always either

"It's too early to be bored!" Sorry my neurology doesn't wait to clock in, mumsy.

"Go and do..." [thing you've already considered and really want to do but can't because executive dysfunction, which will then result in the classic neurotypical response of "well just do it."]

And my personal favourite, being told to do a boring chore or menial task instead and being told "well clearly you aren't that bored then, you said you wanted something to do" when I get mad and try to explain the difference between asking to do something fun socially & asking to do something boring alone.
