Ok so like silly idea, tell me if I'm wrong in any way
But 11 Amy and Rory land somewhere and 11 runs off at some point to go do something and so Amy and Rory go exploring and run into two more people, these people being Jamie and Zoe who are here with 2 and are currently looking for him or something and they all keep looking around then stuff starts happening. I may expand idk just an idea
One of these episodes Jamie is going to sit on the doctors lap and no one will remark on it
I haven't watched troughton era yet but I've seen some clips and rly wanted to draw these two
Day Six: Favourite Male Companion
Jamie McCrimmon (played by Frazer Hines) is one of my favourites companions of the Doctor, the 2nd-Jamie (and 2nd-Jamie-Zoe) dynamic is one of the bests of the show.
He was a companion during the Seasons 4 to 6 (1966-1969), returning later for a cameo in '83 in The Five Doctors, and returned with the 2nd Doctor in '85 in The Two Doctors

Various drawings of random doctor who characters that I love, I’m gonna redraw these but it’s been years since I’ve drawn these
As much as I love the Doctor’s pacifism (which he sort of sticks to at least most of the time except when he later shoves cyanide in a dude’s face but ya know... he has bad days I guess), I also love how Jamie straight up stabs a Sontaran in the leg. Like yeah, you’re one of the most fearsome warrior species in the universe? Well I’m Scottish and Imma stab you.Â
But yeah, I went back on another of my erratic sprees of Classic Who-watching tonight and I happened upon the Two Doctors. I’m starting to quite like Jamie as a companion. (Even though this is his last appearance as a companion in terms of episode order, it’s only the second full serial I’ve watched with him in it because my approach to watching Classic Who can be summed up as wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey.)
This serial also very much made me think of that 12th Doctor quote, “hardly anything is evil, but most things are hungry”. Obviously the Sontarans are more about battle-glory than hunger, but that Androgen chef, on the other hand...Â

jamie mccrimmon is truly the companion of all time. he's gay married to the doctor. he's a jacobite piper from the eighteenth century. he only started travelling with the doctor because polly wanted to keep him as a pet. his legacy will haunt the doctor forever. he doesn't understand half the technology he encounters but rolls with it anyway. he's the longest-running companion by number of episodes. half of them are lost. he had to have his memories wiped by the time lords because he would never have chosen to leave the doctor of his own free will. he's the inspiration behind outlander. no one is doing it like him.
