cannot believe how happy i am to see periods discussed in disney shows
Everyone go read the house in the cerulean sea and then the sequel somewhere beyond the sea it needs a bigger fandom. Perfect if you like good omens, our flag means death, queer romance, and the found family trope (and if you hate jk rowling).
That's the whole reason that so many people, specifically teens, connect with these books. Older people who read them see their teenage self and realize that their teenage years were just as valid as people who partied. And for teens, they can see that not being the stereotypical partying teen is okay, because your life is just as fun and full of meaning. Because some people realize the secrets of life in a crowded room with their friends around them and others find them at 3 am in their room as they listen to music and read. Every life experience is valid. Everyone has their own journey.
“Heartstopper is too puritanical, real teens don’t act like that, they party, drink, have sex and are wild”
Proceeds to ignore introverted teens.
Proceeds to ignore asexual teens.
Proceeds to ignore alosexual teens who aren’t that interested on sex.
Proceeds to ignore teens who have trauma involving intimacy or substance abuse.
Proceeds to ignore the neurodivergent teens that aren’t comfortable at parties.
Proceeds to ignore the neurotypical teens who also aren’t comfortable at parties.
Proceeds to ignore teens who don’t engage in these activities due to religious reasons.
Proceeds to ignore teens who don’t engage in these activities simply because they don’t want to.
Proceeds to ignore every experience that isn’t yours.
This is my new favorite thing! I'm so using 'let me run this bi you'.
Jason: So let me get this straight.
Percy: More like let me run this bi you.
Leo: Let’s see how this pans out.
Reyna: Stop. We should ace-ess the situation.
Piper: Lesbian actual team of functioning people, okay?
Nico: I’m gay…
Yeah, that's my whole thing when I think of Red Hood and how he uses guns. It just doesn't make sense to me sometimes, I mean he's the kid that went in and out of the foster system before ending up on the streets. If anything, you would think he'd take the opposite approach like Batman because he's seen how the system has failed first hand. I mean, that's one of the reasons that he doesn't work like Bruce, he's seen how this type system where criminals just go in and then get out and do more damage can fail and how it doesn't make the lives of Gothamites safer. Something about him using real bullets doesn't sit right with me. Most likely, I'd say that after he got some (serious) help for his Mental Health, that he would start looking for a way to stop this at the root of the problem. I feel like he would use rubber bullets most of the time. That he would be on the front lines of helping people with their Mental Health (one, because he has his own problems, and two, because he knows that Mental Health is a big factor in these villains). Instead of killing, they should be sent to a clean facility where they can receive around the clock Mental Health care from a therapist one-on-one because Arkham isn't working! And he would be big on making sure that after goons/henches get out of jail that they get jobs, along with homeless people that he sees on a daily basis, most likely from Bruce Wayne. This prevents them from having to work for villains, especially in the universe where his dad worked for the Riddler. Thank you for attending my Ted talk! Happy Pride, Raven
I hate Bruce's "I don't kill because once I start, I wouldn't be able to stop"
Like I simply do not buy it. Murder is not a potato chip Bruce. I think he is full of shit and a messy bitch who lives for the drama. I am certain Bruce has some kind of valid reason for not killing, but I don't believe that this is it.
DO REVENGE (2022), dir. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson
I physically need Jason Todd to have several popular accounts as a reviewer of, honestly, anything.
New article in Gotham Gazette? A famous five-star reviewer already wrote a comment on what unethical methods the writer had used, along with debunking the rest of the article. And guess what? It has more likes than the original post.
New restaurant opened? Another famous critique just finished polishing a very detailed post regarding everything inside it — the decor, the cooking techniques, the service (he almost never picks up on waiters, though). It is so on the spot that, honestly, the owners can't even argue with the review.
New movie? Uh-uh, be sure you write your characters properly. New vigilante? Get detailed information on your methods of work and fighting style — and, hey, it might be even useful. New book? Be careful, someone is about to kick your ass on the Internet, unless written worthy.
The funniest part? No one assumes that it is the same person.
And the batfamily? Well, they have no time for this. Expect for... Tim.
Tim, sending a link to Vale's article: Hood. Drag her ass.
Jason: lol
Jason: give me, like, an hour–
Tim: Had I told you you are my favourite?
Jason: i might have an idea, yeah
Tim: Hood. The new restaurant is so ass. They are also homophobic and stared at me and Kon the whole evening like we killed someone. Do something.
Jason: sec
(The restaurant gets closed in, like, two days after that)
Tim: Jason. Bruce pisses me off this week.
Jason: LOL
Jason: wake up, birdie, the new article shitting on Batman's technics just dropped
Tim: YAY
I guess it's time to come clean,
*sighs dramatically*
Guys, I'm bisexual

another reminder to stop buying/watching/reading anything JK Rowling associated
PREACH!! I'm disappointed that John didn't get Abbey to see that she deserved better!! I mean, her and Harper were cute but Harper basically pushed Abbey back into the closet and then hung out with her ex!! It should have been Abbey and Rile, out and proud together 🥲
