Just posted a fic about the httyd books u should read it (I've only got the first chapter so forgive me for that but I swear it's good)
In the beginning of the first httyd book Hiccup says "They are crawling back into the sea from whence they came, leaving not a bone, not a fang, in the earth for the men of the future to remember them by." Referring to the dragons and it's cool because that's what he said in the end of the third movie :)
