This has been sitting at my 'WIP's to finish one day' list for the last half a year. I randomly decided to continue it and was abel to render it in a day, which for me is WOW! (I'm like, extremely slow at rendering)

It's also the first time I'm ever posting a fully finished illustration here so depending on if you guys like it or not, I may even bring something else out of the WIP archives.

Aww thank you! I'm so happy and surprised by the attention and love it ended up receiving. As for your question, there is no poly involved. Both skk and fyolai are in their own respective relationships and Sigma is just fifth wheeling.

I feel like every BSD fan is a Mitski fan. Like being a part of the BSD fandom comes with becoming a Mitski fan if you weren't one already. A 1 + 1 package deal if you will. As if the manga and the light novels aren't making us sad enough we also have to get our daily dose of Francis Forever. And don't even get me started on our national anthem I Bet On Losing Dogs.

guys guys this might sound crazy but maybe we don't name our Chuuya Nakahara lovechild ocs after the real life Chuuya Nakahara's son who died of tuberculosis at 20 months old. maybe we consider being respectful to a man who never fully recovered from his son's death and had a nervous breakdown because of it. I know the whole point of BSD is mixing real life authors and stories into an anime but i don't want to see the name of a dead toddler reused for your Soukoku lovechild OCS on my feed, or anywhere at all. that's extremely disrespectful and just plain insensitive in my opinion. the sufferings of someone who actually lived in real life did not happen in any way for you to used to make your OCS quirky or more connected to Chuuya Nakahara. <3

Thinking about Asagiri's end note in Beast. Specifically of that one part that suggests, in an alternate universe Chuuya might have run away with Dazai. Thinking about Dazai showing up on Chuuya's doorstep at 3am, in the form of a wet cat becase it's been raining all day but he didn't leave Oda's grave for a second. About Dazai just out of the blue telling Chuuya that he's leaving. He expects an explosion, expects Chuuya to shout at him, punch him, tell him to fuck off and to never show his ugly face ever again. Instead what Chuuya says is - "Okay, where do you wanna go? Russia? France? Singapore? I know a good friend of Albatross's that makes super realistic fake ID's." Bewilderment is not something he experiences a lot, not even a little. But his pertner, that he's supposed to know in and out, has managed to put him through it once again.

They end up illegally traveling around the world just because they can. When they finally make it back to their hometown, they have missed Yokohame dearly, it's  time to settle down. Of course settleing down somewhere requires a stable job. A rumor about a newly formeing detective agency that's looking for gifted people to hire, reaches their ear rather quickly.
