The sound of distant explosions echoed through Leo's mind as he tossed and turned in his sleep. The Kraang invasion replayed vividly in his nightmare: the city in ruins, his brothers fighting valiantly but being overwhelmed, the despair that had clawed at his heart. Raph being taken and Kraang possessed, Donnie's broken battle shell, Mikey's tears- He jolted awake, gasping for breath, his chest heaving with the remnants of panic. It felt real.
For a moment, Leo lay still, staring at the ceiling of his room, trying to shake off the nightmare. The familiar surroundings did little to comfort him, and the images of the invasion lingered in the corners of his mind. Deciding he needed a distraction, he quietly slipped out of bed and made his way to the kitchen.
The apartment was silent, having stayed with his s/o for the night, the only sound being the gentle hum of the refrigerator. Leo flicked on the coffee maker, watching as it gurgled to life, the rich aroma of brewing coffee filling the air. He leaned against the counter, rubbing his eyes, trying to shake off the residual fear.
As he poured himself a cup, he heard soft footsteps approaching. He turned to see his s/o, their hair slightly tousled from sleep, padding out of his room. They gave him a sleepy smile before wrapping their arms around him from behind, resting their head against his shell.
"Leo, what are you doing up?" Y/n murmured, their voice soft and concerned.
He forced a smile, trying to play it off. "Just couldn't sleep. Figured I'd make some coffee."
They didn't buy it. They never did. With a gentle but firm tug, y/n pulled him away from the counter, guiding him back to the living room. They sat down on the couch, patting the spot beside them. "Come on, talk to me."
Reluctantly, Leo sat down, his shoulders slumping. Y/n rubbed his shell comfortingly, their touch soothing the tension that had built up in his muscles. "Was it a nightmare?" they asked, their voice barely above a whisper.
He nodded, not trusting himself to speak just yet. Y/n continued to rub his shell, their touch grounding him, bringing him back to the present. "The Kraang invasion," he finally admitted, his voice hoarse. "I keep seeing it... hearing it."
Y/n pulled him closer, letting him rest his head on their shoulder. "You don't have to go through this alone, Leo. I'm here for you."
He sighed, the weight of the nightmare beginning to lift as he felt their warmth, their steady presence. "It's just... it was so real. I thought we were going to lose everything."
"But you didn't," Y/n reminded him gently. "You and your brothers fought back. You saved the city. You saved each other."
He nodded again, feeling a bit more at ease. "I know. It's just hard to forget."
Y/n held him tighter, their hand still rubbing soothing circles on his shell. "I understand. But you don't have to carry this burden by yourself. We're a team, remember?"
A small smile tugged at his lips. "Yeah, we are."
Y/n kissed the top of his head before leaning back, coaxing him to lie down with them on the couch. "Let's try to get some more sleep, okay? We'll face whatever comes next together."
As he nestled against them, feeling their heartbeat steady and strong beneath his cheek, the remnants of the nightmare finally began to fade. Their presence was a balm to his troubled mind, and he let himself relax, the tension melting away.
With their gentle touch and reassuring words, Leo found himself drifting back to sleep, the nightmare banished by the warmth and love of the one who held him close.

A Snowy Retreat
It was one of those rare days when the city felt serene instead of chaotic. Snow blanketed New York, softening the harsh angles of rooftops and muffling the usual cacophony of life. Leonardo, leader in blue, stood atop a building alongside his partner, gazing at the cityscape as snowflakes spiraled down lazily.
"You know," they said, breaking the silence, "it’s kind of magical up here."
Leo smiled. "Yeah, it’s peaceful. Makes you forget all the craziness for a bit."
They turned to him with a mischievous glint in their eye. "Too peaceful."
Before Leo could react, a snowball smacked him square in the chest.
"Hey!" he exclaimed, brushing off the snow.
Their laughter echoed through the snowy silence. "You looked too calm. Had to fix that."
A smirk spread across Leo’s face as he crouched to gather snow. "Oh, it’s on now."
The fight began with a flurry of snowballs flying back and forth, each trying to outmaneuver the other. Leo’s ninja reflexes gave him an edge, but his partner’s determination leveled the playing field. He slid behind a chimney for cover as they pelted him with an impressive barrage of snowballs.
"You’re good," he admitted, peeking out to return fire.
"I’m better," they teased, narrowly dodging his shot.
After what felt like an hour, both were breathless and soaked from the snow. His partner was shivering, their gloved hands fumbling as they tried to scoop up another snowball.
"Alright, truce," Leo called, dropping his handful of snow.
They stood up, shaking out their jacket. "Alriiigghhhttty. But only cuz I'm cold!"
Leo stepped closer, concern replacing his playful grin. "You should’ve said something sooner." Without waiting for a response, he shrugged off his scarf and draped it over their shoulders. "Come on, let’s head back to the lair. I’ll warm you up properly."
They didn’t argue as he led the way back, expertly navigating the rooftops despite the snow.
When they arrived at the lair, the warmth was immediate and comforting. The hum of Donnie’s gadgets, the faint sound of Mikey humming in the kitchen, Raph training, and the scent of Splinter’s incense made it feel like home.
"Sit," Leo instructed, motioning toward the couch. "I’ll grab some blankets."
They sank into the cushions as he disappeared briefly. When he returned, he was carrying an armful of thick blankets and handed them a steaming mug of hot cocoa.
"You planned this, didn’t you?" they teased, taking a sip.
Leo grinned as he sat beside them, draping a blanket over the two of them. "I always have a plan."
They leaned against him, sighing contentedly as the warmth seeped into their bones. "You know, you’re pretty good at this whole ‘taking care of me’ thing."
Leo’s arm wrapped around their shoulders, pulling them closer. "That’s because you’re my favorite snowball rival."
They laughed softly, letting the exhaustion from the cold slip away. "You’re lucky I let you win."
"Sure," he said, his voice tinged with amusement. "But next time, I’m bringing reinforcements."
The sound of their laughter filled the lair, blending seamlessly with the comforting chaos of the turtles’ home.
A Chill in the Air
Snow dusted the rooftops of New York, creating a winter wonderland that felt oddly out of place in the city’s gritty backdrop. Donatello stood beside his partner, watching the snow fall silently under the glow of streetlights.
"It’s beautiful," they said softly, gazing out at the serene landscape.
Donnie nodded, his bo staff resting against his shoulder. "It is. But it’s also ridiculously inefficient. Snow impedes infrastructure, slows down transportation—"
"Donnie," they interrupted, turning to him with a grin, "can you ever just enjoy something without analyzing it?"
He tilted his head, lips quirking into a smirk. "Not really."
Their grin widened as they bent down to scoop up a handful of snow. "Maybe this will help."
Before he could compute the implications, a snowball splattered against his plastron. He looked down at the damp spot in mock offense. "Oh, so this is how we’re playing?"
"Obviously," they teased, already preparing another snowball.
Donnie adjusted his goggles and crouched down. "Alright, but don’t blame me if you regret this."
The fight began with flurries of snowballs arcing through the air. Donnie’s analytical mind turned the skirmish into a tactical exercise, calculating angles and wind speed to land his shots. His partner, however, relied on spontaneity and speed, often catching him off guard.
"Gotcha!" they cheered as a snowball hit him square on the shoulder.
Donnie wiped the snow off, shaking his head. "You’re infuriatingly good at this."
"Maybe you’re just bad," they teased, ducking behind a vent for cover.
He chuckled, lobbing another snowball their way. "Oh, you’re going to regret saying that."
But the cold was starting to seep into his hands and feet, and after a particularly well-aimed snowball smacked him in the face, Donnie called for a truce.
"Alright, alright! I concede!" he said, throwing his hands up in mock surrender.
His partner stood up, grinning triumphantly. "Admit it—I’m the snowball champion."
"Fine," Donnie muttered, brushing snow off his goggles. "But only because my body temperature is lower than it should be."
They stepped closer, brushing snow off his shoulders. "Come on, let’s go back to the lair. I think you’ve earned some hot chocolate."
Donnie sighed dramatically. "Hot chocolate and maybe a blanket. Or two. Or three."
When they arrived back at the lair, Donnie immediately headed for the couch, shedding his gear as he flopped down with an exaggerated groan. His partner chuckled, grabbing a couple of blankets from the pile Donnie always kept handy for "emergency relaxation purposes."
They sat beside him, draping one blanket over both their laps and the other over his shoulders. Donnie let out a contented hum as he leaned into them, his cheek brushing against their shoulder.
"Much better," he murmured.
They smiled, wrapping an arm around him. "You’re such a baby about the cold."
"Excuse me," Donnie said, voice muffled by the blanket, "I’m a scientist, not a snow creature. This is not my natural environment."
They laughed softly, running their fingers through his snow-dampened mask tails. "Well, you’re in your natural environment now. Warm, cozy, and with me."
He turned his head to look at them, a small smile spreading across his face. "You make a compelling argument."
Donnie shifted closer, resting his head against their shoulder. They stayed like that, wrapped in warmth and quiet companionship, as the sounds of his brothers echoed faintly in the background.
"Next time," Donnie murmured, "we bring portable heaters to the snowball fight."
They laughed again, pulling the blanket tighter around him. "Next time, maybe you just stay inside."
"Tempting," he muttered, already half-asleep. "Very tempting."
Well, at some point I had to show up here... Hello!!!
I have read most of your writings, I love them.
How have you been? How have you feeling?
A question, do you think you can do a SBG x reader text? Some angst, I don't know... Maybe something to do with the Phantom world where the reader is so badly injured that his/her life is in danger, and the way each of the teenagers reacts.
(Only if you can, flower for you 🌹)
Omg your so sweet!! Thank you for the flower my star!! I appreciate your kindness<3
Recently, I threw out a storry on the reader sacrificing themselves for Tyler/Aiden and how theyd react, you can find it Here!!
If you want a more different story or headcannons or something, definitely dont hesitate to ask!! :))
Much love!!

This is sadly true... very...very true
I have no shame
Well, I’m supposed to be sleeping. But ✨thoughts✨
Separated/Villain Au Donnie idea:
Starts off the same as most separated aus (Lou fleeing with the turtle tots, drops Donnie, and Donnie grows up on his own)
After some kinda of horrible accident that scars him, preteen (-ish) Donnie conducted a DNA test to determine how he was created and he hacked a database full of DNA samples, he finds he’s a match to Lou Jistsu.
After digging through numerous tabloid articles and dead-end “sightings” of the missing movie star, he discovers Lou is actually Hamato Yoshi.
He does little with this information until he’s forced onto the edges of New York by some opponent. That is where he discovers the foot Clan.
He does not join, no-he stalks and hacks-tearing apart and sinking his claws into every corner of the clan.
Eventually, he does the same to the overseas remainders of the Hamato Clan. It’s his vengeance on who he perceives to be the one who hurt him most-Yoshi. (Donnie is unaware of his brothers’ existence or that his father is not in fact dead.)
Afterwards the mutant becomes apathetic to the world, he doesn’t spare a care for the world that harmed him from his first breath. So, the mutant retreats into himself, playing the world outside his apartment no mind. Aside from growing his technological empire through puppet leaders and experimenting with mystic technology. (Does not end well, ima say that much)
And when he discovers his brothers existence? Well…He’s cut off two of Big Mama’s limbs for (stares a the blurry scribbles on my palm) breathing to “harshly” and insinuating SHELLDON was a “interesting use of his” (Donnie’s time), he won’t be happy.
He possibly might off Splinter, idk.
Going to sleep, might add onto later
