just thinking about young sweet hinata shoyo moving to a foreign country all by himself, having to learn a new language, feeling lonely and having a hard time, printing takeda sensei’s “he who would climb a ladder must begin at the bottom” and hanging it on the wall of his new far-from-home apartment, checking the group picture with kageyama, tsukishima, yamaguchi and yachi that he has as his lock-screen in the darkness of his quiet room, catching a glimpse of kageyama playing at the olympics while he’s still working around the city…. these moments, too, are volleyball!
Adult and young Mo Ran sketches from this month 💙 I love him so much.
what i love about mhyk is the way they really played around the concept of magic and wizards and incorporated promises into the lore. like, we as humans often making promises to others, but most of the time, it's merely brushed off or not taken seriously. mhyk takes the concept of 'making a promise' to a whole other level by emphasizing the fact that promises are NOT meant to be broken and if it becomes broken, you eventually are forced to confront the consequences of your actions. (or in mhyk lore terms: wizards making promises to others---whether wizard or human---emphasizes the heavy weight that comes in making a promise and striving to fulfill that promise. you must always take your words seriously because it means a lot to others who are on the receiving end of your own words. wizards in this world lose their magic if they break their promise because it simply means that they failed to commit to their own words---to their own promise.)
gonna introduce u guys to some filipino monster heehee
Recent main story updates have inspired me to make this evil freshmen relationships chart to visualize how I imagine their stuff lmao
Adeuce to Aceyuu one is inspired by the contents of the book 7 dreams
For the Malleus Silver one it's less of how it actually is and more both sharing the same thought about the other
Ortho didn't fit anymore + there was lowkey no point in putting him because it would only be "friends" for mostly everyone here and that's not evil enough
