Ok, so I started listening to the Magnus Archives and my hualian infested mind went: "Huh, I could make a semi-horror hualian one-shot inspired by the presentation of said podcast."

similarities

Hua Cheng and Xie Lian are out on a walk through the forest near Puqi village on a nice sunny day.

Somewhere along the line, the calamity spots a one-eyed fox, presumingly having lost the other one in a fight at some point, carrying a lone white flower in its mouth.

Following the animal´s movement a while longer, he can see that it´s bringing the bloom to its mate: a fellow fox who looks delighted at the gift that was just carefully lowered to the ground at their feet.

The ghost turns to his husband who is already watching him in turn with a small smile.

Quoting a character from a play he recently saw he states: “He just like me fr fr.”

Plague Doctor! soldier Hua Cheng who during his days as a nurse comes across a dying patient he found in the middle of the night, looking at them with a completely neutral expression, only the dim blue-ish light of the unusual fire burning away in the lantern he´s carrying illumanating his figure...
