2 year anniversary gift for my partner!!!!

We’re celebrating our anniversary today (a week and a half late) because my summer camp job kept getting in the way and I get to give this to them tonight!!! They don’t have tumblr so I know they won’t see this before I give it to them! Some of these drawings are definitely worse than others…(*cough*Garfield*cough*)

I’ve been down south maybe a grand total of three times, but my da lived in the south when he was younger. His accent is mostly gone but it slips out if you surprise him. I managed to pick up his accent and sayings so sometimes you’ll randomly find this small NorthEastern person with an accent thick as honey if you catch them off guard (I also say y’all all the time)

I feel like choosing ‘Not Like Us’ over literally every other nomination for Record of the Year was a wild choice. And I’m not saying this as a Beatles fan who’s sad that ‘Now and Then’ didn’t win, I just genuinely think ‘Not Like Us’ was chosen because the Kendrick and Drake drama was interesting, not because it deserved Record of the Year
