“I see you are not one for losing.”
I just thought about what you would do. It’s like you always say: if we stick together, nothing can hurt us.
hayley didn't regret the fight, even as she lay in bed bruised and battered she held no doubts in what transpired. klaus had managed to find her after inadu had their way. possessing elijah to attack and leave her for dead, deep down she knew it wasn't him. that he wasn't in control of the blows, the hybrid could see it in elijah's face, how his eyes would change from rage to sorrow. he fought so hard to not allow this outcome and she knew that in her heart. she would heal in time, much faster than most. but that brought no comfort, she felt defeated, until hope walked into the room.
the tribrid had grown into her name the moment she was born and proved every day that the name fit, even when hope couldn't see it she was exactly that. the light in the darkness. that tiny spark that kept the fight going. that was who hope was to hayley, so to hear her voice it provided a wave of calm. the hybrids body began the process of relaxing, placing her other palm on hope's face, she smiled weakly. "there was nothing you could babygirl. i'm okay i will heal and elijah isn't possessed anymore."
it was obvious, the guilt and terror that ran through her daughter and she wanted so badly to dim the rage that also bubbled, but she knew hope needed time with these things. the two were protective over each other and hayley knew that she would be picked every time in the tribrids eyes. "don't be mad at him for too long, it wasn't him that did this to me...."
𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃. ⸺ ( @iknowthvnd ) location: hayley and elijah's home.
HER ENCOUNTER WITH ELIJAH, had left one single thought in the tribrid’s mind ( not she wouldn’t run to her mother first, whenever something happened ) but this was different, it involved hayley directly and it was that little detail that made rage inside of her swell, hope’s list of people to ‘ protect ‘ was extensive on a regular day but it was the list that contained the people nobody should MESS with that often made her react, a bit more violently than usual ( and that was saying something )
rushing inside of her family home, her like of sight was frantic as she zoomed from room to room, only allowing her gaze to soften as soon as she spotted her. rushing forward, the girl threw her arms around her, finally allowing the breath she’d been holding to release before she pulled back to meet the hybrid’s gaze ⸺ a silent acknowledgment, to let her know that she was with her, no matter what.
if there was one thing hope was confident of, it was exactly this. she’d fight a long side her mother for the rest of time, regardless of who it was that they were staring down. “ you’re okay.. “ she breathed with a shake of her head, eyes stinging a little as she reached for the woman’s hands, lacing them with hers, she squeezed tightly. “ mom, i’m so… “ what sorry? would that help? would the guilt she felt knowing that it should have been her and not her uncle, help anyone if she shared it? no. so instead she pulled the brunette in for another hug, that feeling of protection that came whenever she was near her mother enveloping her to the point that it felt overwhelming, but. in the best way possible.
guilt swelled in the demon's chest as she began walking towards mariana. gabriela hadn't made it to the rescue, instead she went on a search for any of raymis's weaknesses. there were a few decent leads but they would've rather been there to rescue their daughter. shaking her head, she took let out a deep sigh. all of this was her fault even if kaya felt differently, it was gabi who struck the relationship with someone filled with so much anger and violence, but it wasn't like she had been in the right mindset at the time. meeting raymis happened to be the spark that lit the powder keg of dark energy being released from the new demon. that energy was something she tried keep from her kids, not to keep them in ignorance but simply because she was scared of looking like a monster. because well she had done some monstrous things, killed people and sent their souls to eternal damnation. no matter how much therapy and time passed, it was something that would never leave her.
gabi had done her best to not startle mariana but of course she was jumpy, the two hadn't yet spoken about what raymis did to her. "sorry baby, i didn't mean to, i just..." stumbling over their words, the demon decided to just take a seat near the peaceful lake. closing her eyes, she took a deep breath, doing everything in her power to allow the gentle noises to provide relief. "i'm just checking on you, i'm sorry i wasn't there to get you. i was trying to figure out how to make sure that bastard can never touch any of us again."
Marina sat by the tranquil lake in the park, seeking solace and trying to calm her mind from the recent events that had left her feeling unsettled. With her back turned to the water, she focused on the gentle ripples and the peaceful surroundings, willing herself to relax.
Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder, causing her to spin around in horror, a gasp escaping her lips as she jumped out of her skin. Her eyes widened in surprise as she laid eyes on the figure before her, a mixture of fright and curiosity evident in her expression.
"I-I'm sorry, d-did you need something?" Marina stammered, her words faltering as she struggled to compose herself, her gaze meeting the person who had interrupted her moment of solitude by the lake.

gabriela looked up at him with big doe-like eyes after he pulled back, her lips still pouting from the kiss. every time he came back from these trips, the two would wind up in the same position, waking up tangled in sheets, while one of them as the big spoon. she'd welcome it every time, never once complaining. when tyler closed the spaced between them a chill ran up her spine, placing her palms on the counter behind them, she lifted her body up and sat on the edge of the cool tile, the icy feeling against her warm skin made her gasp softly. gabi's legs wrapped around his waist, making sure there was no space between them, as she tilted her head with a devious grin. leaning forward, she got close to his ear and whispered. "i miss the way you feel against me." biting her lip, she then kissed his earlobe softly, before pulling back to look him in the eyes.
"you did tell me everything by the way, so since i always keep my promises." their hands gripped the bottom of an already small shirt before slowly lifting it above their head, throwing it swiftly to the side, to reveal a sheer bra underneath. "i guess you could say, i was prepared." tyler would find out soon that her underwear matched.
she told him that he didn't have to thank her , but honestly he believed that she had deserved so much more . she deserved everything , she had deserved all of him and he knew that he would do anything for her , including die . after gabriela spoke all the lockwolf could do was smile softly as he felt her thumbs rub across his cheek . " me too " he confessed after she spoke about being happy that he was home .
he was lost in her gaze , she had the ability to make him feel like he was the only man in the world . her kind words were empowering as she kissed his lips softly . tyler hands moved to hold her face . " i know i'm not supposed to thank you but thank you . " he spoke before he kissed her back softly . " for being a wonder mother . . " he hummed against her lip . " and this is for being a damn good wife . " he kissed her deeply . his lips pressed into her sweet ones finding them to be addictive . all these years his fire still burned for her . still yearning for her touch , her kiss , and her love . " god i want you . " he confessed against her lips as he moved his body closer to her leaving no space .

everything was fuzzy. yet at the same time so vibrant, the whole thing gave her a headache, one she couldn't seem to shake. ever since crawling out of the grave, there were only two things on eleanor's mind, water and her fiancee. placing unruly hair behind her ears, she walked toward the french quarter in search for both. the thing was, she had no money on her. so to get any answers, the anxiously meek woman looked around for someone kind enough to notice she was in distress.
"excuse me, could uhh..." she trailed off unable to get the attention of another, sulking her shoulders forward. ellie's brain felt as if it heavy, as the bright lights strained her already blurry vision.
the demon tilted their head with a sweet smile, happy to take the compliment in. "thank you hope. i have a few other plans with this outfit, tyler is not happy about the whole me joining the faction, but it's kinda hard to be mad when i look like this." her hands hovered around her breasts before letting out a chuckle, admiring the humor that poured out of the tribrid beside her. she was a lot like her mother and father, it seemed like every good part of klaus managed to shine with his daughter. something that gabriela could relate to even though she'd never tell him that. "ohh yeah, i forgot you don't really need to do the whole breathing thing. i'm sure your mom would love this conversation if i was not having it with you."
gabriela hated the way her family and the mikaelsons still held such anger towards each other. it was something she hoped to change, but the murders got in the way of that plan. hayley had already agreed, that there was no need for any of them to hate one another. all of them had done some horrible things, all out of fear and thinking it would provide their loved ones safety. "hope can i just say, it has been really nice seeing you and kaya be friends. i know there is a lot of bad feelings our families have had towards each other...." they'd never say it, not yet, but they also loved hope and her siblings. the demon took great pride in her family and that love grew bigger, as she met other families who held that loyalty as well. "i wish i could change the things that had been done, the things i've done, but we just can't and it also doesn't help to hold it in."
" WELL IF IT HELPS ANY, you are an absolute vision, gabbi. " the tribid complimented with a bright smile, tense shoulders relaxing slightly despite the tinge of animosity held for her husband hope wasn't unaware of the reason why it existed and while that often made for an awkward moment or millions between herself and kaya ⸺ she couldn't deny the high regard she placed her friend in and that somewhat extended to her mother, even if such sentiment would NEVER actually feel true where tyler was concerned. " at the very least, we'd be having a better time breathing. " she mused with a snort. " suppose it's lucky, that technically i don't have to. " the advantages of an activated vampire side. " secret is safe with me, after all if i told her you said it, then i'd have to admit i HEARD it and that just opens an entirely different can of worms... that none of us deserve to dive in to. "
deep down she knew that there was no need for promises, when it came to talking about hard feelings with tyler. the two of them had to have many conversations most couples don't need, such as hey i'm a demon and oh i turn into a wolf when the moon is just right. so yeah, there was no need to promise clothes would be off at some point, but she liked to think it kept everything fun. there was a type of joy gabriela couldn't put into words, when getting their husband to smile a certain way, after some comment made out neediness. all she could do was smirk, refusing to give any spoilers.
the two of them worked really hard to get here, years of emotions and situations that felt so out of control, but each time they found solace in each other. she'd fight for that all her life and make sure that her children knew, that type of love is what they also deserved. watching as her words soothed him made gabi's shoulders loosen, happy to hear him audibly breathe knowing how talking about his father made him often stop. "no need to thank me, i'm always here to remind you of the person i see." rubbing her thumbs on his cheeks softly, she tilted her head with a sweet smile. "i'm really glad you are home." she admitted, getting lost in the way his gazed met hers. it was difficult when they were apart, she'd sleep but never quite well and always slightly more tense than they'd hope. "it's so important that you were there for that kid and i'm glad that you get to be here for ours." she kissed him softly, lingering for a moment because it felt nice to hold him close. gabriela would sleep great tonight, even if there was a nightmare, the one person that could tame them would be right be her side.
" is that a promise ? " he flirted back with the brunet when she told him that he wouldn't regret it , if he told her everything . tyler didn't need an incentive to confide in his wife but the incentive didn't hurt . as much as tyler loved his kids he was happy to hear that the house only had the two of them in it . this meant that they didn't have to keep anything p.g.
his father was a sore subject for the lockwood male but with gabriela regardless of how hard it was to talk about his feeling ;; he had found it easy with her . she was a good listener , and there wasn't anyone else in the world he wanted to share those parts of himself with . her touch brought him comfort and relief . tyler listened as gabriela spoke . she had the ability to bring clarity to his sea of thoughts . he knew that she was right and her words had meant the world to him . that's all he had ever wanted ;; all he wanted was to be a good father and a good husband . her kiss on his forehead helped settle his emotions and her reassures made him sigh in relief . it was important to tyler to know that she had so much faith in him , and it gave him strength . tyler didn't know everything but all he knew was that he needed her . " thank you . " he breathed with gratitude . his hazelnut hues gazed over his wife's beautiful brown ones . " i can't tell you how much it means for me to hear you say that ." he confessed . " it means everything . you mean everything . " another confession escaped from his lips .
what's happened? the question played over and over, yet she never could give a proper answer. rubbing in between their brows, before taking a seat next to sammy. "a lot has happened and i'm honestly not sure where to start, but i have to tell you all of it now before raymis gets ahold of you." gabriela didn't realize that this fear had already come true. "sammy, after i sold my soul i was sent to hell. while there i was broken and not myself. plus hell isn't exactly a place that helps your mental health. anyways, i brought people's souls to another demon. this turned me into a very dark version of myself and then i met raymis...." she trailed off, trying to think of how to describe all of this to her son.
"raymis is a demon and he only wants pain and suffering. i was caught up in it all, until i met your father." tyler had changed so much for the demon. allowed her to realize that love wasn't conditional. "for so long, i thought that i was meant to suffer and raymis he kept me feeling that way. that's how he liked me best, knowing that my place was below him. he was dead but now he's back and he took your sister, he hurt mariana." tears welled in her eyes, something that seemed to be happening frequently now. this wasn't like them, to feel so powerless but there was no other way to feel when your family is in danger. "we got her back but she is going to need a lot of time to recover."
Sammy stayed lost in his conversation with the person the other side of the phone screen and only looked up to notice his mother when he she spoke. He gave her a smile and shrugged a little. Not really knowing that anything was going on to warrant any panic. "I've been out... why is everything okay?" he questioned finally as he senses a tenseness from the female. He sat himself up and watched her with expectant eyes. "What's happened?" he responded.
gabriela didn't let go of mariana, keeping the girl in a tight embrace as tears rolled down the demons cheeks. all of the information was flooding her senses and none of it made her feel any better. for kaya to fix an injury like that, well that meant that she used her demonic powers, something that gabi understood, but felt as if something special had been snatched right out of her hands. raymis wasn't family and yet here he was making decisions as if he was always at the head of the table, typical. their fingers ran through their daughters hair softly, wanting to only provide comfort and nothing more. there would time for the difficult emotions, but right now all she felt was love. "i don't know what i would've done had he hurt you anymore than he already has. i'm so sorry, i didn't ever think he could come back but i should've at least had a back up plan."
If there was someone Marina missed dearly, it was her parents, especially her mother. Although she loved both her parents, she always felt a stronger connection to her mother. When Marina finally calmed down and realized it was her mother, she quickly embraced her in a tight hug. "It's okay, Momma," Marina reassured her mother, nodding as she listened to her speak. "I was scared, but I'm okay now. Kaya and Dad found me," she continued, her voice tinged with relief. "My leg is much better now; Kaya fixed me," Marina added excitedly, eager to share the news with her mother. As she held onto her mother, a sense of safety washed over her, and she whispered, "Don't let me go, Momma," holding onto the older woman tightly.
