The Bed Argument - Part III

Days passed since that transformative night in Ireland. Stephen Strange and Y/N found themselves navigating a new dynamic, one that went beyond the arguments and tension that had defined their relationship. The mission that brought them to Ireland was long over, but the connection forged during those restless nights lingered.

As they returned to the Sanctum Sanctorum in New York, a sense of change hung in the air. The awkwardness between them had dissipated, replaced by a newfound understanding. They no longer verbally sparred at every turn, and a comfortable companionship took root.

One evening, after a particularly challenging day of mystical disturbances, they found themselves on the rooftop of the Sanctum, looking out over the city. The skyline glittered with city lights, a serene contrast to the chaos they often faced.

Stephen, normally guarded and composed, spoke first. "I never expected things to evolve like this between us."

Y/N chuckled softly. "Me neither. But I have to admit, it's a pleasant surprise."

They sat in companionable silence, enjoying the rare moment of peace. The connection between them had grown beyond the magical world they navigated; it was a connection forged through vulnerability, shared experiences, and the realization that they complemented each other in unexpected ways.

As the night deepened, Stephen turned to Y/N, a contemplative expression on his face. "I never thought I'd find someone who could understand the weight of the responsibilities I carry."

Y/N met his gaze, a genuine warmth in their eyes. "And I never thought I'd find someone who could challenge me and make me see things from a different perspective."

A subtle shift occurred between them. Unspoken feelings lingered beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to surface. Stephen reached for Y/N's hand, intertwining their fingers as a silent acknowledgment of the connection they had built.

The rooftop became a space of shared moments, a sanctuary where they could be themselves without the constraints of their roles. Stephen and Y/N discovered that their strengths and weaknesses complemented each other, creating a balance that went beyond the mystical battles they fought.

As the night wore on, Stephen leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to Y/N's forehead. It was a gesture filled with unspoken promises and a recognition of the evolving nature of their relationship.

"We make an unlikely pair," Stephen admitted with a small smile.

Y/N grinned in response. "Perhaps, but sometimes the most unexpected combinations turn out to be the most magical."

They sat there, hand in hand, watching the city below as the stars painted the night sky. The journey that began in Ireland had led them to a place where they embraced change, welcomed the unexpected, and discovered that love, like magic, had its own unpredictable ways of weaving its spell.

A Wolverine's Heartache - Part II

Part I

A Wolverine's Heartache - Part II

Logan/James Howlett x Reader

She/Her Pronouns

Summary: The Sentinel battle takes a turn for the worst causing Logan to lose someone dear to him.

Before the Sentinels descended upon them, there had been a quiet undercurrent of tension between Logan and Y/N, an unspoken dynamic that lingered beneath the surface of their friendship. The Xavier Institute, a haven for mutants, had become a place where emotions and connections were heightened, but not always openly acknowledged.

Logan and Y/N had shared moments of camaraderie, their friendship deepening over time. Yet, a subtle dance of longing and hesitation played out between them, unnoticed by others but felt in the quiet glances and stolen smiles. Each held a key to the other's heart, but the lock remained unturned.

In the tranquil moments before the storm, Y/N often found herself stealing glances at Logan, a flutter of uncertainty in her chest. She admired his strength, both physical and emotional, and valued the camaraderie they shared. Yet, there was an unspoken desire for something more, a connection that hovered in the uncharted territory between friendship and something deeper.

Logan, too, grappled with his own conflicting emotions. He had always been a lone wolf, accustomed to the solitude of his own thoughts. However, Y/N's presence had become a soothing balm to his restless soul. There were times when he caught himself staring at her, a vulnerability in his gaze that betrayed the unspoken depths of his feelings.

Their interactions were laced with a delicate balance, a dance around unexplored territories. A brush of hands during training, a shared moment of laughter by the fireplace – each encounter left an indelible mark on their hearts, pushing them closer to a truth neither was ready to confront.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The battle with the Sentinels unfolded in a crescendo of chaos and destruction. The ominous hum of their massive metal bodies echoed through the war-torn landscape as the mutants of the Xavier Institute rallied to fend off the relentless onslaught.
The sky crackled with energy as Storm unleashed her powers, attempting to create a barrier against the relentless advance of the towering machines. Colossus, his metallic form glinting in the harsh light, clashed with the Sentinels in a display of brute strength. Cyclops fired optic blasts with precision, desperately trying to hold the line.
Amidst the chaos, Logan moved like a feral blur, his adamantium claws slicing through the mechanical monstrosities with unmatched ferocity. The air was filled with the acrid scent of burning metal and the distant cries of mutants in peril.
Y/N fought valiantly alongside the team, her powers contributing to the defense, but the fear of being overshadowed by the more powerful mutants gnawed at her. In the midst of the mayhem, she kept glancing towards Logan, seeking reassurance, but his attention was consumed by the battle.
As the Sentinels closed in, a momentary distraction led to a tragic turn of events. Y/N found herself isolated for a brief second, and in that moment of vulnerability, a Sentinel seized the opportunity. A deafening scream pierced the air as Y/N was ensnared in its metallic grip.
Logan, several yards away, sensed the danger too late. His instincts kicked in, and he sprinted towards Y/N with an urgency that defied the chaos around him. With a primal roar, he lunged at the Sentinel, claws slashing through its armored exterior. The metallic giant released its grip, but the damage was done.
Time seemed to slow as Y/N crumpled to the ground, Logan catching her in his arms. The battle raged on, but in that harrowing moment, everything faded into the background. Logan's heart pounded as he held Y/N, the world collapsing around them as her life slipped away.
Logan's world shattered as he held Y/N's lifeless form in his arms. Time seemed to freeze, and the chaos of the battle faded into a distant murmur. The weight of grief pressed down on him like an unrelenting force, threatening to consume him whole.
In that agonizing moment, Logan's senses, normally keen and alert, dulled to the outside world. The smell of burning metal, the distant clashes of mutant powers, and the acrid taste of despair in the air became distant echoes. All that remained was the profound silence that accompanied Y/N's departure from the living.
Logan's heart, usually a steady rhythm amidst the storm, now pounded with a raw, aching intensity. His hands trembled as he cradled Y/N's lifeless body, unable to comprehend the reality of her absence. The world around him blurred, and tears – a rare expression of vulnerability – welled up in his eyes.
Regret and guilt gnawed at Logan's soul. If only he had been quicker, more vigilant. If only he had protected her better. The weight of responsibility bore down on him, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he had failed the one person who had silently meant more to him than he had ever admitted.
A guttural, primal scream tore from Logan's throat, reverberating through the battlefield. It was a scream of anguish, of a grief so profound that it echoed the depths of his soul. In that moment, the Wolverine, known for his stoic demeanor and unyielding strength, crumbled under the weight of loss.
As Logan clung to Y/N's lifeless body, the reality of her absence sank in, leaving him stranded in a sea of sorrow. The battlefield continued to rage around him, but in his world, everything had come to a standstill. The connection he had shared with Y/N, the unspoken bond that had grown between them, was now a painful void that threatened to engulf him entirely.
The Grinchy Christmas Surprise
we all know Logan would be a grinch during the holidays! also, i know this one is a bit short but i kinda rushed it-
The Grinchy Christmas Surprise
Logan/James Howlett x Reader
No pronouns used!!
Summary: Y/N buys a gift for Logan, but he isn't too keen on receiving it.
The Grinchy Christmas Surprise
Christmas morning at the X-Mansion was filled with festive decorations, laughter, and the scent of holiday treats wafting through the halls. However, Logan Howlett, known as Wolverine, wasn't a fan of the decorations. He grumbled to himself as he wandered through the festively adorned hallways, muttering about the unnecessary fuss.
Meanwhile, you had just woken up and decided to seek out Logan. Holding a nicely wrapped gift in your hand, you ventured through the mansion until you found him, scowling at a wreath hanging on the wall.
"Hey, Logan," you greeted, a soft smile on your face. "Merry Christmas."
"I told you not to get me anything," Logan grumbled without turning around, continuing his walk down the hallway.
You followed him, hurt by his dismissive tone. "Please, just take it. Whether you open it or not is up to you."
Hesitantly, Logan accepted the gift, looking down at it with a raised eyebrow.
"I know you said not to get you anything, but… no one else got you anything, and I didn't think it was fair," you explained, your voice quiet as you stared at the ground.
After a few moments of contemplation, Logan started tearing the paper. Your excitement grew as he unveiled a black leather jacket with two yellow stripes on each arm, reminiscent of his old one that he had lost a while back.
"I know you loved that jacket, so I—" you began, but Logan unexpectedly cut you off by hugging you. The shock quickly gave way to happiness as you hugged him back.
"You had to be the good one, huh?" Logan said, a rare warmth in his voice as he pulled away slightly.
"What can I say? It's my specialty," you joked, still hugging him with a large smile.
In the end, Logan couldn't resist your enthusiasm about the gift. As you continued excitedly talking about it, he kissed you, a way to shut you up but also an acknowledgment of the gratitude and affection he felt in that moment. The unexpected Christmas gift had managed to thaw the gruff exterior of Wolverine, leaving both of you with a holiday memory to cherish.
Ethan Nestor x reader
gender neutral
era: current...???
warning: mark being a little suggestive, i don’t like there’s swears but maybe, ethan being fluff
“Hey, babe?” Ethan called out into the small, but cozy, house. All he got was a weird noise, maybe a snort, coming from the living room. He walked into the room to see Y/N laughing at Spencer as he was rolling around on the carpet. They looked at Ethan when they a chuckle.
“Hi Eef!” Y/N had jumped up from the floor and hugged the brunette. Ethan giggles and embraced them.
“Me and Mark are starting a live stream, do you want to join?” As a response, Y/N ran into the kitchen, grabbing as many snacks as they could carry.
“Are you coming?” Y/N called back at Ethan who was standing, shaking his head at his partner with a smile on his face.
“Yup!” He jogged towards his little ‘gaming room’ where he has his PC set up.
“Dude, where were you- OH HI Y/N!!” Mark waved and smiled at the giggling person walking into the room. Y/N waved back and hugged the camera as Mark was at his own house.
“I was getting asking Y/N if they wanted to join.” Ethan pulled a chair out for Y/N and the chat exploded with comments about it.
“Ethan! Look! They loves you.” Mark made a dreaming look on his face, poking fun at the couple.
“I know they love Ethan, but they like me so much more.” Y/N replied sassily. The three of them laughed at the little joke while the chat agreed with them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After a while of playing Phasmaphobia together, Y/N had quit to watch the two man-children scream at the small scares on the screen.

“NO NO! ETHAN, SHE KILLED ME!!” Mark screamed as the ghost had covered his screen with her hands. Both Ethan and Y/N had laughed at his behaviour. “Hey! That’s not nice.”

“Well, your not nice!” Y/N poked their tongue out at the man. Ethan laughed again and laid his head on their shoulder.

“Ew! Stop making love in front of these poor children!” Mark screamed, once again, and covered his eyes jokingly. Ethan was red in the face and Y/N was making suggestive faces towards the camera.

“We- I- We weren’t-“ Ethan was stumbling over his own words as Y/N and Mark laughed at his adorable behaviour.

Heartbeat Symphony

AHHHH i love this man too much lmao. this is short and sweet so have fun my lovelies!

Heartbeat Symphony

Dean Winchester x Reader

No pronouns used

Summary: After a long day on the road, the couple finds solace in the comfort of the Impala. The story explores the quiet moments between hunts, emphasizing the deep connection and love they share. Back at the bunker, they unwind together, appreciating the simplicity of being a team both in and out of the field. The narrative highlights the strength of their bond and the sense of home they find in each other's company.

Heartbeat Symphony

Dean Winchester sat in the driver's seat of the Impala, one hand casually resting on the steering wheel as he glanced over at you. The rhythmic hum of the engine was the backdrop to the comfortable silence that filled the car. You had been on the road for hours, chasing down the latest lead on a case, and now the two of you were finally heading back to the bunker.

As Dean drove, he stole glances at you, appreciating the way the soft glow from the dashboard highlighted the contours of your face. The quiet moments between hunts were just as precious as the action-packed ones. He reached over, fingers brushing against yours, and a warm smile formed on his lips as he interlaced them.

"You doing okay, Y/N?" Dean asked, his voice a soothing melody that echoed through the Impala.

You nodded, leaning over to rest your head on his shoulder. "Yeah, just tired. Ready to get back and hit the hay."

Dean chuckled, the sound vibrating through both of you. "Well, we make a damn good team, don't we?"

You smirked, lifting your head to meet his eyes. "The best. Team Winchester."

As the familiar sight of the bunker came into view, Dean couldn't help but feel a swell of contentment. The two of you had been through so much together, and yet, every moment felt like a new adventure with you by his side.

Once inside the bunker, you kicked off your boots and flopped down onto the worn-out couch in the library. Dean joined you, sitting close enough that your shoulders brushed against each other. He reached for the TV remote, flicking through the channels until he found an old black-and-white movie.

"You know," Dean said, his arm finding its way around your shoulders, "we make a pretty good team in and out of the field."

You laughed, snuggling closer. "Yeah, we do. I wouldn't want to hunt monsters with anyone else."

Dean turned his head, planting a soft kiss on your forehead. "Me neither, Y/N."

The movie played in the background, but you found yourself more captivated by the steady cadence of Dean's heartbeat. It was a comforting symphony, a reminder that you were home, safe in the arms of the person you loved.

As the night wore on, you both drifted off to sleep on the couch, tangled together in a mess of limbs and blankets. The bunker echoed with the quiet sounds of the TV and the distant hum of the machinery that kept the place running.

In the darkness, Dean whispered words of love, promises, and gratitude, knowing that every day with you was a gift. And as you slept, you couldn't help but smile, feeling the warmth of his love surround you like a protective embrace. Together, you faced the challenges that came your way, hand in hand, heart in heart, a team bound by something stronger than any supernatural force – love.

i loved writing this OMG!! i can't believe i haven't written for Dean yet. i absolutely adore him so so much lmao

The Bed Argument

Part II Part III

i had to okay 😭 also, this will be a series so stay tuned 😼💪 i love this gif-

The Bed Argument

Stephen Strange x Reader

they/them pronouns used

Summary: Stephen and the reader themselves in Ireland on a mission, where their constant bickering and clashing personalities have become a prominent feature of their interactions. Exhausted and in need of rest, they book a hotel room with only one bed. The story revolves around their argument about who should take the bed, with both of them adamantly refusing to sleep on the floor. After a heated exchange, they reluctantly agree to share the bed but remain distant from each other. As they lie side by side, their tension gradually subsides, and they begin to find a new understanding between them. The story ends with a subtle shift in their relationship, suggesting the possibility of change and a truce.

The Bed Argument

The night was uncharacteristically chilly for an Irish summer, and the old inn on the outskirts of Dublin didn't seem like the most inviting place. Stephen Strange and Y/N found themselves in Ireland on a mission, despite their constant bickering and clashing personalities. The tension between them was palpable, like a storm brewing in the distance.

As they entered the inn, both were equally tired from the long day of traveling and dealing with magical anomalies. The mission had already taken its toll on them, and they desperately needed rest. Unfortunately, the inn only had one room available, and it had a single, somewhat lumpy, bed.

"I'm not sleeping on the floor," Stephen declared, his voice laced with annoyance. He glanced at Y/N with a furrowed brow.

Y/N, equally exhausted, shot back, "Oh, don't act like you're doing me a favor. I'm not sleeping on the floor either."

Their eyes locked, and for a moment, it seemed as if they might finally agree on something. But then, the inevitable happened. They began to argue about who should take the bed.

"You should take it, Y/N," Stephen insisted, "I'm a doctor, I can handle sleeping on the floor."

Y/N wasn't about to back down either. "And I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself, Strange. You take the bed."

Their voices grew louder, their arguments more heated, and before long, they were caught in yet another intense verbal battle. The innkeeper's patience wore thin, and with a tired sigh, he left them to their quarrel and retreated to the front desk.

"I'm not going to let you sleep on the floor," Stephen huffed.

"And I'm not going to let you have it either," Y/N shot back, their eyes blazing with stubborn determination.

The standoff continued, neither willing to give in, both equally stubborn. Finally, in a desperate attempt to end the argument, Stephen said, "Fine. We'll share the bed. But don't think this changes anything between us."

Y/N, who had expected a concession from Stephen but not this, reluctantly agreed, "Deal. But you stay on your side."

As they settled into the bed, lying as far apart as possible, there was still tension in the air. However, the exhaustion of the day eventually caught up with them, and one by one, their arguments and hostilities gave way to the quiet rhythm of their breaths.

In the dimly lit room, their hands brushed against each other, and for a moment, they hesitated. But instead of pulling away, their fingers intertwined, forming a connection that went beyond their constant disagreements.

Perhaps it was the exhaustion, or maybe it was the realization that they were in a foreign place together, but as they lay side by side, the tension between Stephen Strange and Y/N began to dissipate. It was just one night, one bed, but it marked the beginning of something different – an uneasy truce that held the promise of change.

i'll probably be posting the second part tomorrow. i gotta write it lmaoo
