Sirius Black is left handed

Remus first learns this when they are sitting with their hands interlocked doing work and Sirius just casually writes his essay with his left hand because his right is holding Remus’

And Remus is shocked because how has he never noticed??

And he’s not writing in his perfect Black cursive, his handwriting with his left hand is a lot messier, a lot more ‘him’

But the next day he is taking notes in class with his right hand and the perfect handwriting is back and Remus is so confused

So he finally asks Sirius about it and he tells him about how he was born a leftie

But his parents couldn’t have a defected heir, so they forced him to learn with his right hand

So now he can write pretty well with both but just defaults to the right because that’s what he’s always done

And Remus just decides at every opportunity to sit on Sirius’ right and hold his hand so he has to write with his left

Because it’s so beautiful and true and him

MARAUDERS HEADCANON #2

Remus and Sirius were always very close, so when they started dating nobody suspected anything of the extra hugs and long "good nights".

Until one day, after a especially hard moon, Remus comes into the common room and just sits next to his boyfriend and kisses him full on the mouth.

Not many people were shocked, but James made a scandal, complaining about why they hadn't told HIM.

Peter and Lily were just whispering to each other "I knew it".

Remus Lupin, who's hard of hearing but can't afford hearing aids always has to ask people to slow down or write what they're saying because most students don't know sign language.

Regulus Black, who's selectively mute and communicates mostly with sign language.

Regulus is going down to the medical wing to get a potion for Evan. He froze, seeing Remus, talking(?) to Pomfrey in sign language. Remus notices him, standing there frozen. He speaks up, “You alright there, mate?”

Regulus blinks, snapping out of his trance and nods, crossing over to Pomfrey, and signing, “I need a Pepperup for Evan”

“Of course, dear. One moment.” Pomfrey responds, walking off to get the potion.

Once she is out of view, Remus turns around to face Regulus, then signs to him, “You know sign?”

Regulus nods, “Yes, I do.” he signs in reply.

And that is how their friendship started.

Sirius drove motorcycles and James drove sports cars

Gender is not the same as sex. Gender is what you identify with, while sex is what Sirius Black is having with Remus Lupin tonight. Stay tuned.

Thinking about Regulus talking James's ear off about things he enjoys (but only in private cause he has a reputation to uphold) and James being silent only when he's with Regulus (he too has his reputation to uphold) and actually listening... Reggie is happy cause someone is listening to him for once in his life, and James is happy cause he doesn't have to be 'the happy person' for once.

Later:

Regulus: I'm changing my password.

James: Snowdrop

Regulus: .... How did you-

James: come on, it's your second favourite flower, Reg. I know you.

Regulus: ...

Barty: ...

Sirius: ...

James: Try a planet

Regulus: *starts typing*

James, smugly: Mercury.

Everyone: ....
