ed and roy’s relationship encapsulates the gen z/milliennial dynamic very well because edward was born hating the system in a world already wrecked by war, but roy was this wide eyed optimist who had all his hopes and dreams shattered right in front of him so his actions and politics are painful to him but edward’s been ready to destroy shit since day 0 and has literally no qualms about the revolution.
