Another old piece, this was part of an AU I had of the homunculi.
It was a 7 heavenly virtues AU since that hasn’t been done before surprisingly?? This is supposed to Kindness, aka Envy. I plan on drawing the rest but, it’s taking some time.
Also, I forgot their wings so, there’s an alternate picture with small bs excuse for wings pffft

AHHH This was originally for the BNHA amino, but I was super proud of this so I wanted to share it here too :‘0 Ed is also surprisingly fun to draw?? So far there’s 14 chapters! But I have no idea if the author plans on continuing it :’)

I am never gonna recover from what FMA did to me and how it helped me evolve as a person. The writing was phenomenal and the story is unique. The characters felt like family to me, especially these two❤️. Their dedication for each other was wholesome and their story was very emotional. All in all, FMA felt close and personal to me than any other anime ever could. I love both FMA2003 and FMAB with all my being. Made this for my Filiden project because why not? :D (even though FMA is not Filipino related) Also, the text means "Promise" or "Pangako" in Tagalog.

Envy thinks homunculi can't get sick with this cheesy nonsense. But then he faces Edward. And in the most aesthetically unpleasing manner butterflies begin getting out of his lungs. Large emerald butterflies, those of them who didn't choke on blood and died are flying close to the ceiling of the cellar, not letting him forget just who made him feel like this. Envy even tries to get rid of them, catch them and crush them in his hands, but every time new ones make their way out.
Once when Envy sees Edward, an uninvited butterfly spreads its wings in his mouth and flies out. Envy reaches his hand out in attempt to catch it, but only manages to touch it with the tips of his fingers, before it lands on stunned Edward's shoulder and dies, injured and crumpled.
Envy feels another damn butterfly creep out of his throat, as if he hadn't embarrassed himself enough in front of Edward. He clutches his chest, trying to cope with pain, and suddenly Edward moves closer. The alchemist leans in, covers Envy's lips with his hand and kisses him over it. The butterfly, which was locked in his mouth, stops thrashing, falling dead. And to be honest Envy too feels a little dead. Edward pulls away, and the homunculus spits out the dead, bloody insect on the ground, finally feeling the fluttering in his rib cage stop.

Well, I tried. He’s a tricky one to draw, but I gotta admit he’s kinda cute. I never watched the 03 anime (I only read the manga), so I’m assuming there’s a reason he looks so much like Ed.

FUN FACT: back when I was more active on Instagram, I used to draw models in ww2 uniforms a lot. I have a large repertoire of different poses and lots of photos of ww2 uniforms from different countries.
I used to draw lots of poses with different guns too! (My favourites to draw were Russian especially.)
I might post some of them here if people are interested.
