I drawing I did in my early teens (probably around 2007-2009).

Sketched it on paper, scanned it onto the computer and coloured in photoshop.

I've always loved games like Zelda that includes a lot of nature of magic, fantasy etc.

Something about a lone wolf surviving in the wild, where things aren't perfect but they are natural.

How far are you willing to hold your breath, To chase the fantasy?

I give you… Akutagawa as Ashitaka!! (A continuation.)

I tried that scanning thing again and it actually isn’t too bad. (besides the fact that it took me nearly 30 minutes to scan bc of the high dpi lol)

(And yes, I basically just looked up a bunch of photos of Ashitaka and drew Akutagawa in his place, but the poses are iconic!!!! I typically try to draw my own poses as much as possible, but this was a must! I assure you that I did not trace in the slightest.)

FUN FACT: back when I was more active on Instagram, I used to draw models in ww2 uniforms a lot. I have a large repertoire of different poses and lots of photos of ww2 uniforms from different countries.

I used to draw lots of poses with different guns too! (My favourites to draw were Russian especially.)

I might post some of them here if people are interested.

Ok, I have become obsessed with this pose. I wanted to draw Al as a kid cuz he’s adorable.

I actually hate cats with a burning passion, but they’re fun to draw like this.

I tried sketching Prince Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke. I did a much better job with the head studies (the only thing I can do well other then horses.)

Yakul looks more like a horse tbh. The back legs look good, but those front ones… ick…

Anyway, I had fun with these. It was a little hard to try replicating the Ghibli style, but it was a good exercise. ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

I completely forgot she existed tbh… and I also forgot how awesome her hair is!!!

I realized that I suck at whole body poses so I decided to revert back to my go to skill when all is lost and drew a few face profiles, along with this poorly attempted full body sketch. I think it’s safe to say that I enjoy drawing her face lol (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)

Also, my pencil decided to be a pill and kept causing me to draw thicker lines then intended. (I’m telling you, that thing has a mind of it’s own!)

I haven’t yet clarified who this character is. I think I might introduce her to this blog soon. She is a work in progress and so is the horse she rides.

If you can’t tell already, I love horses with a burning passion (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

I’m really enjoying using this new blending stick I got from a friend. It’s literally just a piece of thick paper rolled into a pencil shape, but it works so well!

I did use references for these sketches.

Continuing on the theme from yesterday:

This is what happens when I try to draw a horse with no references whatsoever. The result is… interesting… (╥﹏╥)

I normally will be looking at multiple photos of horses as well as a horse anatomy chart while sketching. This time, I decided to try going from memory. It’s better then it was a few months ago….

I used my 4th volume of the BEAST manga to try and draw Dazai. It, uh, looks interesting….

I drew this a looooong time ago with the intention to post it to my Instagram. Never happened, obviously.

There was a time when I really loved doing those ‘draw the squad’ base things. This is one of them. I thought it would be funny to share it on here.

4. Twilight Princess Link and Midna

This is now the second time I have drawn Midna. Ever. She is really difficult to draw, mostly because of her crown thing. The first time I tried drawing her (which was years ago) I horribly butchered her face, eyes and helmet. After that first failed attempt, I decided to simply never try drawing her (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

However, this time around proved to be a bit easier, mostly because I figured I would go for simplicity instead of trying to sketch every detail of the helmet. I can’t understand how the mangakas of the TP manga were able to draw it in the detail they did through an entire series.

Overall, I am pretty pleased with the outcome! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

I tried really hard but gave up to draw her eyes and hair correctly. The puffy sleeves of her dress are so hard for some reason! I’ve actually never drawn Seychelles before, but this was kind of fun. I’m actually pretty pleased with how her normal version’s face turned out. ( • ̀ω•́ )✧

This is actually the initial first sketch I did. I was going to draw her normal counterpart beside this, but the part of my brain in charge of figuring out proportions didn’t really want to work… ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌

Would be awesome to see interaction art between Link from Ocarina of Time with his companion Navi. He journeyed through thick and thin with his little friend. Maybe some wholesome sketches of them together?

Example: Link shielding Navi from the rain with his shield. Navi helping Link read from a book in the dark with her light. Etc By the way, your art is very inspiring. :)

I saw you were asking for art requests in the LoZ community.

I wanna see how you draw Ezlo (I was the one who put the pictures of what I drew and had no idea the name of the silly hat thing until people started commenting Ezlo). Maybe add Link, too?? Idk,. Up to you if you wanna add Link, I can't draw people well so I just stuck to the hat.

I don’t draw Ezlo quite as much as I would like, so this was a nice opportunity. Technically, Ezlo isn’t a hat. He’s actually a Picori. I like to draw him occasionally as both a hat and a Picori.

Hi, I saw your post on the Zelda community! What about a short little comic about a Picori clothing store, and Vaati trying on outfits? I'm picturing cute little outfits based on different types of flowers or leaves! Not sure if you can make a comic out of it, but maybe it could at least inspire a single drawing?

Well…. I tried.

After much carful procrastination contemplation, I decided on sketching up this short, silent comic (because I’m too lazy to write up dialogue).

I know there isn’t much here in regard to outfits based on flowers and leaves (mostly because I love the town/village picori outfits better) but, it was definitely a fun little project to work on!

On top of that, I also really wanted to sketch up some other outfits for Vaati to try on in general.

Okay guys I’ve got another comic going on now :). This one is actually written by @ineedseveretherapy and it’s called Truth Or Dare. I kid you not this made me cry. Call me sensitive but man I couldn’t get this out of my head until I decided I HAD TO DRAW IT.

So with permissions from the creator (thank you again, by the way) I started drawing. I struggled so hard to not put as much detail and color and attention into this comic like Warfare because I really like the story, but I knew if I did my main comic would suffer, so I hope you guys are okay with messy sketches haha.

But for real, give this story a read I really like it and there are two parts. Please mind the trigger warnings and tags. This comic and the story does cover heavy topics about suicide so please be careful. Thank you all so much for the love and support you guys are all incredibly amazing. God bless you all! ✝️
