An actual-play podcast where we’re playing DEAD IN THE WEST, a game of my own creation! Please give a listen and tell me watcha think!
The year is 1886, and the place is Montana. The Great, Mythic Frontier lets out one last stifled gasp before the cold sets in, and the final nail is hammered down into the Old West's coffin. Join RPG Roulette and me for an acyual-play miniseries where Our intrepid players set out into a world of deceit, desperation, and unforgiving winter.

More episodes soon! Thanks for listening and lemme know your thoughts!
In this emotionally exhausting video, I talk to a professional cult deprogrammer about Qanon, how the conspiracy theory spreads and where the movement might go after the Capitol Building attack.
“You couldn’t make Blazing Saddles today!” is an adage I am so sick and tired of hearing that I made a half hour video debunking it. It also goes into exactly why the film is considered one of history’s most disruptive classics, and if you have time, you should check it out!
My channel is tiny, so any subs/shares/likes/comments you have are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance, pardner.
friends, i have been quiet because i have been funnelling all my creative energy into music right now and idk how to move from poems to that on here. I do still make more visually inclined things but right now this is what’s taking over my life. I’m not really calling anything as formal as a hiatus - just that’s why I’m here a bit less right now, though I’ve no doubt I’ll be around again for poems and art.
if you would like to maybe keep up with this music stuff, you can, and I would love it if you did.

I am also working on solo music stuff a fair amount. none of it is being released yet because recording is either difficult or expensive, but old things are on ishanijasmin.bandcamp.com and new things will be too.
I made a video about how stupid movie practices and product placement lead to nightmare sonic. Give me a like and sub you old so and so.
Jordan Peterson is debating Slavoj Zizek! For money! For only a thousand dollars, you can watch two old men read a script where they luke-warm agree with each other so as to not look bad!
I am very sick and this was easy to make. Give me a like, share or sub if you can, it means a lot!
Howdy everyone. Please take a moment and watch this quick video I made about the best film of last year; Sorry to Bother You. If you enjoy it, feel free to give me a sub/like/share/the good stuff! If you don’t like it, pretend you didn’t see it!
So the auction scene in Jurassic World 2 is p good, but how would it flow with some big band jazz and snappier editing? (pls forgive me my memes)
For Halloween I made a video recommending five spooky horror movies in just five spooky minutes. Lemme know what y’all think or if you have any suggestions for what to watch this All Hallow’s Eve
So I thought Nier: Automata was a really dumb game where you played as an anime and fought big robot worms, when suddenly I had put 60 hours into it and made this video talking about it’s Hegellian take on the origins of self-consciousness. Go figure! If you enjoy my content, please do give me a sub/comment/like/bell/what have you, as it means a lot!
What is a Script Consultant - and do you need one!
This is part of a new series in which I reveal my ugly mug and give writing advice, talking about my experience as a Script Consultant and work on reading and editing screenplays.
If anyone has any thoughts, questions or suggestions please do let me know! Would love to have some feedback on this series, and know what people might be interested in me covering in the future.
Hey everybody. Here’s a video I made about animation, what it means to me and the psychological idea of “Flow” - or when a task becomes meditative.
If you enjoy this video, please feel free to let me know if there’s another topic you’d like me to talk about. Similarly, any advice/general comments are much obliged.
Oh! And I went and did a twitter now because people on my videos kept asking. Feel free to follow me @The_Infranaut
Thanks everybody!
Hello all! I just started a video series on screenwriting and editing. I’ll hopefully be going over some general advice, common mistakes and even sharing some stories from my time in script editing.
Also, this is my ugly mug.
If there’s anything you’d like me to talk about, let me know! The first episode is on the film Hereditary, and sacrificing thematic value for story.
Yo at this point I think I’ve seen enough desolate Russian landscapes in cinema to reconstruct the whole country from memory
Here’s a video about Arrested Development! And editing! And the magic of both!
Mario Odyssey does a lot of cool, strange things, but none as cool or strange as letting you dress the most iconic character in all of videogames as a topless cowboy.
In this video I talk about character design and theory, as well as why Mario has stuck around as long as he has. Any likes, comments, shares or subscriptions will go a long way!
Hello everyone! In this video (which is probably the single one I’m most proud of to date), I examine one of the most famous shots in all of cinema and try to figure out what makes it so special.
Soy Cuba is a strange movie; a Cuban film funded by the USSR, meant as a piece of Propoganda but abandoned for not being radical enough. Check out my video and let me know what you think, and if you have any other suggestions for films I should take a look at, speak up!
I, a lesbian, find you very attractive
This is a strangely consistent demographic for a skeleton to have.
Hello friends! I’d like to direct all of you to the following link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1367347179/dead-in-the-west-a-tabletop-rpg-set-in-the-mythic?ref=nav_search&result=project&term=dead%20in%20the%20west The past year and a half or so, I’ve been working hard on creating my very own pen-and-paper tabletop RPG (think Dungeons and Dragons if you’ve never played one before). The game is set in what I like to call a “Mythic Old West” setting - think old cowboy movies and pulpy novels - the kind of place made up of tall-tales and larger-than-life characters. Setting out on an adventure in Dead in the West should feel like your party is a group of modern-day scribes, stitching out the tapestry that is the first Great American Folklore! The Kickstarter is not asking for very much, and will go towards creating both a digital and physical edition of a beautiful rulebook, filled with gorgeous artwork by tumblr users like yourselves, all paid a fair commission.
Please do consider contributing to the Kickstarter! Dead in the West is an incredibly fun game, and I’d love to share it with as many people as I possible can.
Also you get the bonus of seeing my ugly mug in the dieo up there.
Thanks everybody <3
Looking around online, I found a LOT of people were left stumped by the ending of the film Personal Shopper. I get that - it’s a weird one! In this video, I examine the film as a whole, and try to find out what exactly we can gleam from those perplexing final seconds.
If you enjoy my video, please feel free to subscribe, or follow me on Twitter here https://twitter.com/The_Infranaut
ok so i generally don't find guys attractive but you cute 👌🏼👀
As a long-decaying malevolent skeleton I don’t hear that much, so thanks
A video I made on Nostalgia Culture and the representation of Millennials in film, I’m quite proud of how this one turned out! If you like it, please do feel free to like, comment, share and subscribe. It’d mean a lot!
And, of course, check Brigsby Bear out if you’re interested! It’s a great little film, and I wish more people knew about it.
The Cloverfield Paradox is the first ever Clickbait Movie.
If you missed it, last Sunday Paramount released the most recent Cloverfield on Netflix with a surprise Superbowl trailer. The movie was... Not great, to say the least. In this video, I talk about what a weird marketing decision that was, and whether it paves the way for more “clickbait movies” in the future.
If you enjoyed this video, a like/comment/sub would mean a whole, whole lot. Thanks everybody!
I am new to your account, and I would like to ask, what are you? I mean, a writer, a YouTuber, it seems like.
Two small skeletons in a robe pretending to be a big skeleton
In response to the “Star Wars: The De-Feminised Cut” (which was an edit of The Last Jedi made by some weirdo that removed all female characters), I created “Star Wars: The De-Sci-Fi-ed Cut”. This version of A New Hope removes anything in the film remotely Sci-Fi or Fantasy related.
It’s five minutes long. Please enjoy A New Hope the way it was always meant to be seen.
Now with some supporting evidence! Check out the crazy use of text in this film:

New video! It’s about The Forbidden Room, and how Guy Maddin visualises aspects of memory and fantasy. Plus - it’s short!
If you enjoy the video, a sub/like/share/comment/box of roses would go a really long way!
It’s here!
In this video, I discuss The Tempest and it’s storied, weird history, whilst takin a close look at Julie Taymor’s 2010 adaptation of the play. In the video, I talk about the problem with adapting Shakespeare in general, and how film is by definition a transformative medium.
If you enjoy the video, please do like/share/subscribe! I know thats corny, but it really helps this early on.
Let me know what you all think!
My first video essay. I talk about the film “A Ghost Story” and how it uses things like aspect ratio and literal temporal editing to get across tone.
Would really appreciate any likes/comments/subscriptions at this point. Let me know what you all think!
Working on the new season of Castles in the Air. Need a voice actor who sounds older, meant to be playing a character in their 50s/60s, if anyone know anyone please lemme know!
