Prompt #18
A story about the most feared Supervillain in the world, who somehow adopted a kid. It had been a total accident. The kid (now their kid) just had these hugh sad eyes. Puppy-eyes. The villain may be evil, but he is not a monster.
He didn’t mean to adopt a kid.
And then he adopted another child, because their kid had been so lonely and the villain never liked only-children (they were always so vain - kind of like the heroes).
The third child hadn’t been an accident. Because three is a lucky number, alright.
With the forth child the villain realized, that they might have a problem. But all these kids needed them and the villain somehow really likes being a parent.
The villain never meant to adopt a child - now he has adopted five little kids.
What is life like as a single parent of five and a secret identity as the most feared supervillain? Stressed. Definitely stressed.
Prompt #26
Once a group of young heroes saved the world from a great evil, like it has been foretold in a prophecy.
Now there is a new prophecy and you and your friends have to save the world from another great evil. Therefore you seek advice from the last heroes.
Turns out all of them now have PTSD. And one has depression. And another one has social anxiety. They are a mess.
So they try to convince you and your friends that it’s totally not a good idea to fight great evils when you are only a teenager.
Prompt #40
In a world where everybody has one superpower, your power is a little bit unhelpful...
Okay, the thing is: you can talk to cats. Which sounds cool, but cats are not really communicative. They don’t have a real language (only a few simple words) and most of the time they don’t want to talk to you (and they never want to listen to you).
How you still saved a bunch of people with superpowers like super-strength, super-speed and flying, well, that’s an interesting story.
Prompt #19
They told me I could become anything I wanted. So I became a dragon.
Prompt #77
When a supervillain gets amnesia because of a car crash, they forget everything about the past twenty years. Therefore, they don’t remember getting powers and becoming a villain. And since no one knows the villain’s secret identity, nobody comes looking for them.
So they live a normal life until they rediscover their powers one day. That day they decide to become a superhero.
Things get complicated, when the new superhero starts to remember their past...
Prompt #80
„And then I literally died.“
„You mean figuratively?“
„No no. I mean literally. That was the day I died.“
„What?!“
„... I forgot to tell you, didn’t I? I‘m a zombie with really good make-up skills.“
Prompt #61
The League of Supervillains sends one of their lesser known members undercover. Said member poses as a superhero to infiltrate the Superhero-Team. And they succeed.
However, the villain has accidentally made friends among the heroes while undercover. They never had friends before. (Among the villains there are no friends, only allies as long as they have a common goal and after that nobody is surprised to get stabbed in the back (literally and figuratively)).
Therefore, the villain doesn’t want to betray his first friends, but neither can they tell them the truth. And if they betray the League of Supervillains, they soon will be right on top of every villain’s to-kill-list...
Prompt #27
You are a supervillain in retirement. But when another villain destroyed your house and more importantly your precious garden (your flower-bed had been perfect) you have to act. And well, if saving the world is the only way to get your vengeance, then so be it.
Prompt #95
„This is a horrible idea.“
„I know. You don’t have to come with me.“
„Yeah, but I want to say ‚I told you so‘ when this plan inevitably fails, so I really have to go with you.“
Prompt #57
You may be a villain, but not one of the really bad ones. You are actually just a low level thief.
However, you somehow accidentally acquired some kind of super-weapon, made to destroy superheroes (and everything in a 10km radius around them). Since you kinda like this world, you can’t risk this weapon getting in the wrong hands. So you look for a save way to destroy it.
Would be easier, if not every supervillain and superhero were after you (or more precisely: after the weapon).
Prompt #78
They say you have no choice. That it is your destiny. They say you have to do it, you have to fight them. They say you have to defeat them like the prophecy foretold. They say you have to kill them.
However, you never liked fighting. And you want to save the world, you really do, but not like that. Not with a sword in your hand. Not by killing someone, no matter how evil they are.
They say you have no choice. But they are wrong. You always have a choice.
If you ever need inspiration, feel free to use these prompts :). I try to use gender neutral language, because I really don’t care what gender the characters of my prompts have.
