I really miss the earlier stages of the internet am talking 2016-2018 type of early when it was okay to post whatever you like even if you arent conventionally attrative not everybody was begin revealed as a wierdo and all of it wasent just so overwhelming i miss those old creepypasta animations and those 25 minutes long nightcore speedpaint videos i wish people just stayed cringe

This is kinda my theory but ive wanted to hear your opinion on it that maybe the reason why Habit absolutely haves to posses somebody in order to have a physical from is because to more blend in and control people AND because he physically cannot take on his full acually form because the universe that everymanhybrid plays in dosent alowes him to

AHHH THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY ‼️ i like the idea of that theory and have thought about this before! HABIT is a predator, it makes sense that he would blend in with his surroundings to basically get closer to his prey/victims. before HABIT revealed himself in series, he had inhabited evan a few times before and pretended to be him. he used that to trick the others into false security, to lure them closer before eventually striking.

some examples of this i can think of are in the videos "slender man" on the crash621 channel and "Ryan & the SEVENTRIALSOFHABIT" on the main EverymanHYBRID channel.

in "slender man" evan and vinnie/vinny are hanging out together and playing video games. they are both in a happy, comfortable, and presumably safe environment. vin feels safe around evan and doesnt feel the need to worry, but before they actually sat down and started up any games, you see evan talking to "someone" about slenderman and his violent impulses. thats obviously not a good sign!! this someone convinces evan to agree with them, claiming evan (who is irritated he hasnt been able to attack anything) can get a hunt out of it. as the video continues and they hangout together, after a while, the video cuts to just vin playing alone. once he dies in game, "evan" appears from around the corner and stares at the screen. vin, believing it was really evan, approaches him. this is when HABIT attempts to strike, throwing him to the ground and attempting to stab him. luckily for vin, he was able to overpower HABIT and throw him off (which i never see people talk about for some reason? like, thats such a cool detail to me. that proves HABIT isnt as powerful as he makes himself out to be) anyways, HABIT blended in and hid behind evan for a while before he thought it was a good time to reveal himself. he wanted vinnie/vinny to feel false security in hopes of catching him off guard.

in "Ryan & the SEVENTRIALSOFHABIT" theres a scene where "evan" is caught by jeff talking to "himself." you can tell his voice is off, his voice is a little more raspy/growly than normal. thats clearly not evan. jeff doesnt piece that together though, mainly since at the time they were less aware of what HABIT was capable of. "evan" tells whoever he is talking with (im assuming it to be slenderman) "you gotta remember, that whatever i want, I GET. whatever i want. i want their fuckin' blood and i will take it. there aint a GOD damn thing you can do about it." which obviously is out of character for evan. he goes on to say "scare evan, hes just a bitch. not me. i will fuck you up the next chance i get." all of this confuses jeff, especially since this all seems to be coming from his friends mouth. jeff speaks up after a moment and calls out to evan. this causes HABIT to pause, and his tone of voice immediately switches back from raspy and growly to evans usual tone, a more friendly tone. he puts the act back on, acting nice and saying, "hey man, how you doing? i didnt see you there. i was just talking out loud." making an obvious excuse in hopes to not scare jeff off as he got up to approach him, knife in hand. jeff could sense this wasnt normal and something about it was dangerous, so he turned around and ran away before HABIT got any closer.

moving onto the topic of his his true form, while i do like the idea of him not being able to use that form in the universe EverymanHYBRID takes place in, it also just makes sense that he would choose not to use it. i mean, lets look at the actors drawing of HABITs true form:

this doesnt exactly look like a creature you would see out roaming around in your backyard everyday. im not sure what color he canonically is, but going off of all the fanon concepts ive seen, no natural wolf-like creatures has purple fur. they also dont have spider legs coming from their backs. again, HABIT is a predator. hes supposed to blend in, not stick out. his appearance is threatening, and to get closer to people, he needs to be NOT appear threatening. he needs to trick them into feeling safe and secure. he needs them to not yet know he is there. not until he is ready.

We got the basics down lets get into the unversal lore stuff thats not but at the same time cannon

The scp fundation captures creatures that does not look or act or do anything that is not very fitting for our normal human world and studies them to know how they got to be that way or to just get them away and protect normal people

So the scientists gather informations about the scps take tests basicly try and figure them out in any way possible

And there are the personels/solders those two words just basicly mean the same things here its depens really on the person they are the people with the guns who contain the scps keep the staff safe and make sure everything goes in order almost like security guards but a like more cool (people who like the cool swat solder look but dislike the military or for any reason they need something thats similar this is a great option)

So Tim basicly grew up in a mental hospital and took medication for a long time he had seizures hallucinations and just really bad stuff honesly and hes been tormented by the Operator from a very young age and the hospital he was staying at as a kid burnt down but he goes back to the place pretty offen (he even haves a panic attack and halucinates that the Operator is there wich was honesly way too realistic and scary) he and Brian are frends but Masky and Hoobie are NOT frends Hoobie does everything in his powers to work aginst the Operator and aginst Tim, Hoobie even takes away Tims medication once and we can see him having a seizure (wich was also very scary pls give this man a break)

Now that we kinda got his backstory out of the way lets talk about his personality he comes off as very rude and sassy to people at first and he just seems to hate when people try to get closer to him wich let me tell you something thats a trauma respons my dear people who ware treated badly and got blamed for everything in ther childhood offen push people away in order not to hurt them since Tim blames himself for everything that hapened to Alex Brian and Jay (wich something i do not belive to be true) hes like those people who would rather have you hate him then be disapointed in him but if you somehow manage to spend more time with him you can kinda see how caring he can be its hard to see it but i still see it in him he cares very deeply for the people he loves (he literally give half of the pills he had to Jay when thats basicly what keeps Tim alive and away from a possible seizure) even tho he pushes everyone away he hates begin alone and on his own but i think if you know him enough he will finaly show his true caring self even if he lets somebody get somewhat close to himself he does some things that he wievs as "the best for them" but ends up accidentaly hurting people while trying to protect them he also smokes i forgot to say that

Now for the caracter of Masky we don't acually know much about him we never acually hear anyone calling him Masky in mh i don't know if the creators said it or its a fandom thing hes very agressive but still somewhat smart and hes not on anyones side but dosent nececarrly works aginst the Operator hes very agressive and we never acually hear him talk i like that headcannon that Hoobie is selectively mute and i think that Masky isint hes just an asshole and sees no reason to speak

Also a random fun fact about his caracter he can play the fucking banjo and he haves something what Alex calls "the music room" wich is just a room with instruments pluss one of the creators said that all of them have myspace account wich is super cool i would wanna see what Tims Myspace account looks like

Hoody:

1: stole tim's records from when he was 8 years old, which meant that he had to Specifically and Intentionally track them down To steal them. from his house? Maybe, we certainly see him breaking into tim's house plenty. (though why would tim even still have those)

2: baited jay both in person and online implying that tim was lying to him (reminder, the last guy who lied to jay about his intentions tried to kill him with a gun and turned out to have tried to murder all of his friends. and tim himself had watched jay sleep, been in videos threatening him right before jay's apartment burned down, and tried to physically attack him.)

3: intentionally planted the records in a scary tunnel under the abandoned burned down mental hospital and lead jay there by the nose, going so far to write how much of liar tim is in big bold sharpie on the files themselves.

4: after all of this happened hoodie's immediate next step was to break into tim's house, steal his medication, and intentionally set off and film tim having a seizure and post it on the internet.

Hoodie leaked tim's medical records, he specifically and Intentionally baited jay into finding and documenting them because it proved that tim was lying about the slender haunting only starting recently for him.

and it's important to note that jay's response wasn't to get angry with tim, it was to Blame Himself and express empathy for tim.

it's Also worth noting that the majority of the records were redacted (including tim's Name), which is a point in favor of both jay And hoodie (hoodie still cares about tim, even if he's angry at him and willing to hurt him to push him towards what he thinks needs to be done).

moreover, jay's censored tim's last name before (several times, actually), just like he's censored amy and jessica's phone numbers. I think it's safe to assume that part of the reason why jay filmed it was because those details Were redacted (that and, of course, evidence keeps disappearing from his house and from his laptop. which means if he forgets about them and they're stolen then they're just gone- if there isn't some other record of them online, of course).

my point being, it burns my ass that people blame jay for this and hold it against him like it's the worst thing that he could've done, without ever holding it against hoodie.

I feel like this is a cross section of fans only holding characters accountable for what other characters get mad about (tim was Right to be angry at jay for it, but he didn't call out hoodie. probably because there'd be no point, he can't exactly hold him responsible. likewise jay Deliberately didn't get mad at tim about what he did as masky, at least not openly, so fans tend to not understand his perspective)

And fans holding jay to a different standard than they do other characters in general. whether it's because most of his personal information is on his twitter (secondary material people are less likely to go through, especially while watching), because his voice acting tends to be less emotionally charged (it was probably just that troy's acting was a little awkward, but I personally like to read him as autistic), Or because he's just generally not as cool.

either way, people tend to hold jay accountable for things they let tim and hoody off the hook for. and it's kind of Really insane in this case.
