Happy Anniversary to Final Fantasy XV
I had no idea when I was pushing that car in the beginning how much this game would impact me. (And I can't hear "Stand by Me" the same anymore)

i remember when i first read about pitioss ruins, I didn't get into all the details, but read that only Noctis is allowed inside, and it's like a big deal dungeon that you've got to use the flying car to get to and it's hard to land... and I was like "oooh... scary. I'll be on my own... dangerous..." but I had no idea it was dangerous mentally and not physically. And that landing the car was the least of our concerns.
Just something stuck on my mind for a while now.
So played and finished FFX a while ago and actually massively struggled with enemies along the way. Usually online sources could help. That stopped with the Final Aeon.
Looking around and spend a lot of time into researching strategies.
Mainly not because I looked for an easy solution, but because I wanted a long drawn out boss battle that's worthy of the time I spend in the story and in the game. Ideally with an adult appropriate amount of grinding necessary.
The more I looked for help and solutions, the less I wanted to find it.

And I want to leave a big loving thank you for those who took the time to actually write things down in a neutral and helpful way.
To my point and I found the same with other questions around this game. Why is this kind of comments necessary when someone is genuinely asking for help...

Another thing just in my head.
Both started of with immensely loving families, sacrificing everything for their well being and both did not spend enough time with them.
Both found rather rough handled replacement families involving another 2 boys.
And an companion in animal appearance, which stayed with them later when having a crew.
They both had a long drawn out fight with a warlord, neither of them could finish the fight with a clear winner between them.
Both suffered a devastating loss against a Yonko. Bonus points for both loosing against Blackbeard but not dying from it.
While both are stable taking the punishment while being imprisoned, here we are splitting off.
Because only one story ended with making the sacrifice to save Luffys life...?

You come across this sentence a few times in the game, that you beat something Regis couldn't. It makes me ask, is Noctis more active and stronger then his dad back in the day? Or just massively more reckless?

So an additional sleepy note for today.
As well as just one question, Gladio what are you doing? Nobody judges your bodyguard qualities for the reckless price but... A bit less obvious please? Ignis is definitely better at hiding in a crowd, less helpful on keeping an eye on your leige. Prompto probably run after a Chocobo, not sure.
Since I got a new follower, thought that would be a worth occasion to celebrate and honor :) you know who you are.

Was honestly surprised Prompto would pull out his camera during the negotiation in Altissia, think that's the only picture I ever got from the background of that room.
And it had to be the ever vigilant shield of course.
How does it might feel as a sworn shield, being set up to fail? All your efforts, hours and blood concluding in single thing you can't change. You can't protect your king from the next, the last thing and it's just a few hours ahead...
First question, how many drivers lost their orientation on their way out to make this necessary?

Anyway, doing the walk through these cold mamorish halls I realise one thing. Great palace, impressive and all. But I would have despised everything if I had to grow up here.
