become plural and you will be loved forever
You gotta be silly and whimsical and full of joy sometimes so baby systems know they have options. Remember: you, too, can be a random blogger of shitposts on the Internet, or an editor for nonhuman romance novels, or someone who carries a turtle down several blocks to release it into a small lake because otherwise it's going to keep trying to walk into the road. Just because you're a system doesn't mean you're locked into one strict way of life – and it definitely doesn't mean you're doomed to be miserable all the time, forever. Despite it all, we stay silly

i dont like the term host,
i mean it is what i am, but i dont like the connotations connected to it. the idea that im the "real one" or that im in charge somehow.
or maybe it just makes me think of the word "parasite" when i hear it.
either way, i think i much prefer the using the term "pilot" to desctibe my place in the system.
i think that it describes what i actually do without the same negative connotations (and also our fronting room is a literal cockpit so it fits)
if i didnt have headmates then who would remind me i can take paracetamol to fix the headaches caused by my headmates?
being plural means a headmate pulling you into headspace to cuddle with you and help you go to sleep because of your& insomnia
being plural means smiling and laughing at a joke one of your headmates made, or having witty banter with them as you make a meal that you'll both be able to enjoy
being plural means a headmate going "its okay, you don't have to do this, i can do it" and you thanking them because yeah, you cant do that, and thats okay
being plural means thinking about your headmates when buying new clothes, or seeing a shirt or pair of pants for sale and going "they'd love that !!"
being plural means making one of your headmate's simplyplural profile, and spending lots of time perfecting it so that it fits them to a T
being plural means knowing you aren't alone
being plural means knowing that your headmates, your friends, your family, are always there for you
being plural means love.
really sucks how i cant be honest with my doctor for fear of losing access to transition healthcare.
like i could use a therapist to help work through the realisation that im probably plural but then they would add it to my medical records and i just cant take the risk of that.
ive heard of people being denied trans heathcare because of depression (which is like denying an appendectomy cos of stomach pain), a DID or OSDD diagnosis would almost certainly be used as an excuse.
