"Penelope has reminded me of an important fact: Mouse girls are adorable!"

I forgot about my Thieves in Time Rewrite ideas so Imma just post them here:
The story will have three major plot points: the first is the disappearance of Inspector Fox, the second is a robbery of the time travel technology by the Villains - which Sly is framed for because his calling card was left at the scene, and the third is the erasure of the Thievious Raccoonus.
Sly is obviously distraught by all of this, but Bentley, Penelope and Murray break him out of jail.
Penelope betrayal arc is scratched. Instead she helps them by staying in Paris.
Bentley recruits the original creator of the Time Travel technology, Dr. Paradox. A disgraced genius scientist and historian who was robbed of his plans by the Villains. He is going to be a crow.
The Villains are an organization simply called The Plague. You'll find out why they're called that eventually.
El Jefe is scratched. He is replaced with a japanese rabbit named Usagi.
Toothpick is kept, but he is from America instead of Russia, and has a western accent. He also doesn't get large when he's upset. That was just odd.
The Grizz is kept, he is just moved to Medieval England. Also he isn't an artist he's just a former rapper who didn't make it big.
Decibel is scratched, she is replaced with a female fennec fox who goes by the codename Oasis. Her motives are unknown, but it is rumored she was formerly with Interpol.
The levels go as followed: Feudal Japan, Old American West, Ice Age (yes I'm keeping it, you'll understand why later), Medieval England, Ancient Arabia, and back to Paris. I'm debating adding a bonus level, or making the rewrite also end on a cliffhanger and then writing a part 2.
Riochi is the same, Tennessee is the same, Bob is renamed "Kuba" (seriously? Bob? Unoriginal), Galleth is the same, and Salim is buff and younger by a few decades like the Thievious Raccoonus depicts him.
There's a huge plot twist (hint: it's an unexpected betrayal), and it's followed by another reveal.
These are the final titles of each Episode:
Episode 1: Samurai Away (play on Spirited Away)
Episode 2: Unrest in the Old West
Episode 3: The Land Before Crime
Episode 4: Kings and Thieves
Episode 5: Arabian Heists
Carmelita does reappear eventually, but NOT in the Old West. And I'm not telling you yet because Spoilers.
I don't know when I'll start this project for sure. It's going to be a huge undertaking, and once I'm done with Pillow Talk I'll probably focus on it more.
The background colors were a pain in the ass but here is the mouse girl! I ironically have to yet draw any of the male characters in Sly Cooper but it's not my fault Penelope is so fun to draw.
Here’s your intermittent reminder that Penelope the mouse
is introduced as explicitly a better RC specialist than Bentley
a top-tier engineer and mechanic
so good at dogfighting than when she became a combat pilot “at a young age” she was instantly elevated to celebrity status
very convincing at pretending to be a different age and gender???
apparently wasn’t lying about being a trained boxer
can hack pretty good
easily matches and contends with Bentley’s intellect and could, therefore, plan heists pretty good
just fuckin picked up a sword and used it to murder a guy who had dedicated his life to being an old-timey pirate captain, and, by extension, swordfighting.
Penelope could kick the ass of the collective Cooper Gang at any point and the only reason she doesn’t is to be polite
Thieves In Time Redux has a lot of firsts. For example, I've never seen other rewrites...
…have Penelope be responsible for the story happening while joining the boys for the adventure from the beginning.
...have Sly feel bad about not only faking amnesia, but ditching his friends on Kaine Island.
...have Murray only refer to Penelope as "Sis".
…have Penelope participate in Jail Break with Carmelita and Tennessee.
…have the boys be confined separately during Jail Break.
…have someone (Penelope) get sick during the story.
…have Penelope participate in The Grizz's boss fight.
…make one of the heroes (Penelope) deal with an evil impostor.
…have Sly give up on his future with Carmelita.
…have the boys discover Penelope's involvement in Le Paradox's scheme during Episode 5, later than in canon.
…have Penelope start (and end) the final boss fight with Le Paradox.
…have the entire gang fight Le Paradox together.
"Because I, along with everyone else I'm sure, hated Penelope's betrayal, I got a better idea: It's Raleigh The Frog as The Black Knight; He kidnapped Penelope and forced her to help him build it, the boss fight is at first pretty hopeless until Penelope appears, having broken free, and tells Sly and the gang where the weak points are and how to break the armor of the Black Knight. What do you think?"

(I think we would take literally anything else at this point. -Mod)
new sticker design(?)
Do you have any Ideas for Murray's character development?
As I already said in multiple posts, Murray won’t have much of an arc to go through. He’s more focused on being a good older brother towards Penelope, or “Sis” as he always calls her.
Bentley: This plan isn't risky at all!
Also him: All I need to do is get really close to this wolf with these smelly darts...
hi i’m still not over penelope bye
"To me, the Cooper Gang will always be Sly, Bentley, Murray, and Penelope."
