I haven’t drawn anything in forever. (4 months 😬) I’ve been really busy but it felt nice to draw for myself again. 😌 Inspired by some artists InkTober prompts. I hope to ink this soon.

Sorry for the lack of art guys! Who knew that the beginning of the year would be so busy? 😩 I'm trying to get back into a groove of drawing everyday, starting with yesterday's Cognitive Drawing exercise: draw a flexing man from memory (no references). How do y'all think I did? 🔹 Honestly I feel like I'm looking at one of my high school drawings. Not that bad, but not that great either. Let's see how much I learn with the next exercises yeah? 😁

Here's a WIP of what I've been working on this past week for my Illustration class. 🔷 This assignment is another collage, using very detailed life drawings from a specific book. I've taken images that I liked, collaged them together, photocopied them, then used a special marker to transfer the images on to Bristol paper. (Looks like magic, no? 😆) 🔷 I haven't drawn anything yet, but I plan to later. I haven't been feeling that great, so I think I'll go get some more rest. Hope you enjoy!

It’s been a tumultuous year so far to say the least, and I think we could all use the vibes Jewelia here is emanating right now. If you’ve been following me for a while, you may recognize this art format as my 100 Themes Challenge (See #Crystal_100TC if you’d like to see more related works). This piece took me the longest time to complete so far (at least 7 hours alone on the zentangle-like patterns) though here it is in all it’s glory.
