It’s considered socially unacceptable to discriminate against someone for their race, gender, or sexuality. Even if there’s still a huge problem with bigotry against those things, there’s still tons of voices that will fight against it. There’s countless people out there who will fight on your behalf despite everyone who’s against you
So when is it disabled people’s turn to get this support? Why is ableism still socially acceptable? Why is it still so hard to find communities that are truly against ableism? Even communities meant to support disabled people will turn around and show their bigotry to the next disability
