After shifting to a DR, how do memories within that reality feel or recall to the awareness?
In your DR, youâll remember your CR as a whole, and how it feels will depend on how different your DR and CR are, whether you used a method or LOA and whether itâs your first time shifting or if youâre more experienced.
First, if youâre in your DR, youâll always remember your CR as a whole. Youâll recall a few details, but not much more than that.
Remembering your CR might feel strange (especially if you used a method, where youâd expect to be "teleported," while with LOA, the shift happens unexpectedly). In any case, as soon as youâre in your DR, recalling your CR will feel odd. Since youâre not teleporting your body but your consciousness:
In your DR body, feelings will seem normal. You wonât feel out of placeâjust as if youâve always been in your DR. However, mentally, youâll be fully aware of a divide between two very different realities. Sometimes, it might feel like your CR was just a dream, but youâll realize it was too detailed and long for that.
Right after the "teleportation," if you donât experience symptoms, you wonât immediately notice anything unusual. Seeing your DR room will seem completely normal. But after a few seconds or minutes, youâll realize that just moments ago, you werenât there.
During the first moments in your DR, your mind will still hold onto memories from your CR. Again, this will feel normal, and you wonât specially be surprised. However, some memories from your DR will be present as soon as you arrive, while others will gradually replace or integrate into your mind as you remain in your DR.
The more you progress through the day, interact with people, visit places, and "participate" in your DRâbecause yes, you could also stay locked in your DR room without interacting with anyoneâthe more your DR will become familiar. Sometimes, youâll meet someone in your DR without "recognizing" them at first, but as soon as they speak to you, the memories of them will settle in.
If you have a script or shift into a DR youâve prepared, like a fictional one, then obviously, youâll recognize everything. But if you havenât prepared anything specific, itâll feel more like I described above.
Gradually, your CR memories will fade in your mind and become less detailed, though youâll still remember them. Meanwhile, your DR memories will take over. Donât worry, it doesnât take long, and it really depends on how much time you spend in your DR, interacting with people, leaving your room, etc.
If youâve done a mini-shift before, youâll remember your CR and DR in the same way.
Then, when you return to your CR, youâll recall your DR like a global memory, and since you already know your CR, youâll retrieve your memories more quickly. Whether youâre in your DR or returning to your CR, youâll need time to get your thoughts in order.
Whether you use a method or LOA, you might either realize immediately that youâve shifted, or discover it laterâit depends on how obvious the changes are.
In that case, youâll just have this feeling that "before," things werenât like this or that "some time ago," things were different, with a strong sense of certainty.
If you shift multiple times between different realities in a short span of time, you might feel a bit disoriented or experience depersonalization/derealization. But again, this will pass if you immerse yourself in the reality youâre in.
Finally, if youâve been shifting for several years, realities will just feel like "places" youâve been to. Even if you change families, appearances, etc. in your DR, it wonât really matterâyouâll view your DRs as if they were just travels to another country. The word "reality" will seem less significant, and for you, itâll be just another place that adds to your memories.
VOILA!
Once again, this is just based on my own experience.
will shifting ever be scientifically proven? a nerdy investigation. . .
reality shifting exists in a weird twilight zone between mysticism and science. on one hand, shifters claim full sensory experiences in different realities, describing their DRs as just as realâif not more realâthan this one. on the other, skeptics dismiss it as intense imagination, an extension of lucid dreaming or dissociation at best.
so, will shifting ever be scientifically proven? will we one day have brain scans, peer-reviewed studies, and neuroscientific validation backing it up? or will it remain in the same category as astral projection and past-life regressionâforever debated, never confirmed?
guys, this isnât just a yes-or-no question. itâs a deep dive into how science deals with the unknown, how history has repeatedly proven skeptics wrong, and whether shifting might be next!!!
what science currently says: shifting vs. similar phenomena
while shifting itself hasnât been studied in depth (yet), we do have research on similar states of consciousnessâlucid dreaming, hypnosis, and even maladaptive daydreaming (to an extent). so, what does science say about these?
1. lucid dreaming: once called âimpossible,â now neurologically proven
not too long ago, lucid dreaming was considered pseudoscience. the idea that someone could be conscious while dreaming sounded absurdâuntil researchers found a way to prove it.
scientists like stephen laberge used fMRI scans and eye movement signals from sleeping participants to confirm that lucid dreamers were indeed aware and controlling their dreams. we now know that lucid dreaming involves a unique interplay between the prefrontal cortex (responsible for self-awareness and decision-making) and the REM sleep stage.
before this research? lucid dreamers were written off as liars, delusional, or mistaking their dreams for something they werenât. sound familiar?
2. hypnosis: once dismissed, now widely used in medicine
hypnosis was once labeled as stage magic and a party trick. today, itâs an accepted psychological phenomenon used in therapy, pain management, and even surgery (yes, surgeryâsome patients have undergone operations using only hypnosis as anesthesia).
neuroscientific studies show that hypnosis alters brain activity, shifting people into a highly focused state where the brain processes suggestions as reality. if science could accept that the mind can be influenced to perceive reality differently, why is shifting such a stretch?
3. maladaptive daydreaming: a new but recognized condition
maladaptive daydreaming wasnât officially named until 2002, when professor eli somer identified it as a distinct phenomenon. before then, people struggling with excessive, immersive daydreaming were misdiagnosed with ADHD, OCD, or dissociative disorders.
now, we have concrete research proving that MD is neurologically distinct from normal imagination, linked to overactivity in the default mode network (DMN)âthe brainâs self-referential system.
again, before science caught up, these people were called lazy, unfocused, or simply too imaginative. now? itâs a legitimate condition with ongoing research.
what can we take away from that? well, this formula, probably:
history repeats itself: the cycle of disbelief â proof â acceptance
science has a history of mocking what it doesnât yet understand. letâs not forget that:
⢠germ theory was laughed atâuntil microscopes proved bacteria existed.
⢠deep-sea creatures? dismissed as sailor mythsâuntil we developed better submersibles.
⢠lucid dreaming, hypnosis, and MDâall called âfakeâ, until research proved otherwise.
what does this tell us? if shifting is real, the fact that it hasnât been proven yet doesnât mean it wonât be. it just means science hasnât caught up.
but, i like being thorough & unbiased, so iâll list a few reasons i think or donât think itâll be proven!
reasons shifting might be proven
1. brain scans might reveal shifting-specific activity.
⢠fMRI studies could eventually show unique neurological patterns in shifting states, differentiating it from dreaming or imagination.
2. science is moving towards studying altered consciousness.
⢠lucid dreaming, astral projection, and out-of-body experiences are getting more attention in neuroscience. shifting could be next.
3. quantum theories suggest consciousness may not be confined to the brain.
⢠theories like the many-worlds interpretation propose infinite parallel realitiesâif true, shifting might be tapping into that.
4. hypnosis proves perception can be altered at a deep level.
⢠shifting might be a self-induced state where the brain accepts a different reality as real.
5. historical precedent shows that dismissed phenomena often get validated later.
reasons shifting might never be proven
1. thereâs no scientific method to test it yet.
⢠unlike lucid dreaming (where we can confirm awareness inside dreams), thereâs no current way to measure or prove someone is in a DR.
2. it relies on subjective experience.
⢠shifting is deeply personalâthereâs no external way to prove someoneâs consciousness is in another reality.
3. science still struggles to define consciousness itself.
⢠if we donât fully understand what consciousness is, proving it can move between realities is even harder.
4. thereâs no physical evidence of DRs existing.
⢠unless we discover parallel realities and a way to interact with them, shifting might remain in the realm of belief rather than science.
5. mainstream science is slow to accept unconventional ideas.
⢠even if shifting is real, it could take decadesâor even centuriesâfor science to acknowledge it.
my verdict: will shifting ever be proven?
it depends on what shifting actually is.
⢠if shifting is a genuine form of multiversal travel, it might take quantum physics advancing far beyond what we currently know to validate it.
⢠if shifting is a unique altered state of consciousness, neuroscience might eventually find evidence through brain imaging studies.
⢠if shifting is something else entirelyâsomething we donât even have a framework for yetâit might never be proven in our lifetime.
but history has shown that just because science hasnât proven something yet doesnât mean it wonât. skepticism is often just delayed understanding.
so, will shifting be scientifically proven? not tomorrow, not next yearâbut if history has taught us anything, itâs that the impossible has a habit of becoming reality.
and when that day comes, best believe weâll be the ones saying âtold you so.â
đ¤âŽâËâą HOW TO ASSUME INSTANTLY âąËâ⎠âŽđ¤
You assume it on knowing that it has already happened. There is no âhowâ because it is not an effort, it is a natural state. You simply know that you already have it. In the same way that you know your name without having to constantly reaffirm it, you know that you already have everything you want.
If you feel yourself questioning or doubting, go back to the feeling of already being the person who has it. Ask yourself: If I already had it all right now, how would I feel? How would I think? What would I do? And just embody that version of you.
Just affirm it, feel it and don't contradict it. And if you have to do something contrary or think something contrary, >know< in the exactly same way that it doesn't change anything. Accept that It's simple and easy.
â There was no âoh my god i shiftedâ moment. it all felt very natural to me. Youâve existed in your dr since forever, your âcrâ mind doesnât take over when you shift, hence why itâs so natural when you shift.
â Thereâs no right way to shift. Iâve shifted in different ways (sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, just simply thinking about being there etc). You can shift in any way you like. my last shift i simply went to bed and it happened! Donât get caught up with worrying if youâre doing the right thing and go with the flow.
â You most likely shift by allowing yourself to do it and not forcing it. Thatâs why people are more likely to shift on accident and not when theyâre forcing it because thereâs no pressure. You have either shifted or not. Decide you have and trust yourself.
â Itâs the easiest thing in the world because you do it all the time. When you shift back itâs like âwait itâs that easy?â. Yes, you donât need to affirm 500 times, visualise, meditate. Itâs simply just deciding you are there and trusting yourself.

âď¸part seven of the understanding consciousness & non dualism series
have "you" ever been daydreaming and then you get so completely into it that you are not aware of where "you" are or the "physical world"? in that moment when you are so into that daydream, that existed bc you were aware of it. the "physical world" and "your" body were non existent in that moment bc they aren't permanent and the only thing they are is imaginary / consciousness. the "physical world" is only forms of consciousness that come and go bc you can be aware of it or not. when you arent aware of it, it doesnt exist to you. this means that this "physical world" is not real and is only imagination bc it comes and goes and cannot be real. the ego thinks the "physical world" is real bc it is what you are mostly aware of and bc of a society that tells us that this is real. but when you daydream / imagine and become aware of something else, you find out that the "physical" was not real in the first place. it is just forms of consciousness that appear separate and real, therefore an illusion. i remember this thing happening to me a lot where "i" would be walking on the street and at the same time, imagining something else and when "i" snap out of the daydream, for a split second i get confused at where i am and wonder why i wasnt even aware of my "outside surroundings" while daydreaming.
you know when you remember and imagine a really embarrassing moment from the past? why do "you" get the same cringy, heart beating feeling as if "you" were really re-living the exact moment? bc everything is imaginary. there is no such thing as "real" experience bc nothing is real except the real you (consciousness) itself. the "physical environment" is forms of consciousness that come and go so they arent real. so your false self's "experiences" are not real at all. that cringy feeling the false self gets is not even real either. there is nothing but imagination.
when you were a kid, you said you wanted to be a fairy or a princess and would imagine just that. as a kid, "you" believed that was reality even though as "we" become more grown, we look back and think "i had such a wild imagination." but back then it wasn't imagination to us, it was real to us. the thing that changes is ego. while being a kid, the ego has no issue believing in imagination but in a society where humans claim the "physical world" is real and imagination is fake, the ego changes and believes in one over the other. the truth is that both imagination and the "physical world" are reality bc they are both consciousness. there is no separation between them (non dualism) bc is it all imagination/consciousness. and that is one thing that humans fail to understand. the ego is imagination too.
âźď¸ every concept is imagined. the idea and fear of not having a desire is imagined. even the idea of a desire is imagined and not real. even the word "desire" and "idea" "imagined" is imagined and not real. the idea of not getting a desire is imagination and the idea of getting/having your desire is imagination. everything is imagination. this means you get to choose which game to play. none of this is real and will never be bc the only thing it is is forms of consciousness that appear as things as "table" and "mother" so have fun playing with consciousness. you are imagination itself. imagine what "you" want -> be what "you" want (bc since you are imagination, everything you can be aware of is only imagination so you are everything you are aware of). imagine whatever and you experience it instantly, you experience it the moment you imagine it. everything is imagination. everything is consciousness. everything is you. there is no such thing as separation. pick the game you want to play bc why not? all this is ever going to be is imagination either way...

đ Why the 3d is still not showing me my desire?
*note: i swear to god if i see someone ask me a question after this, you won't like what you're about to see*
Well because you did not accept that your desires are yours.
Simple.
The 3d will reflect your 4d when you accept you have it.
It is a Law and it's the 3d's JOB.
Simply think as your desired version of yourself that have your desires, what would they feel? Of course neutral, natural, peaceful.
They wouldn't ask where is it? Why it isn't showing up? Or being impatient.
It's just take a simple firm decision that your desires are already Manifested and you have it NOW, not tomorrow not the year after, the moment you decided that you have it then you do, in imagination.
You think that just simply because your 3d didn't show you anything that you don't have it? Who said that? Your logical conscious mind? Heh, this is just your mind playing tricks on you.
You have it sweetie, you have it the moment you closed your eyes and imagined it, it yours, congrat.
The reason why you don't have what you want is because you're still in the state of getting it, Always wishing to have it, if you had your desires right now you wouldn't try to get it, because logically you have it, you know what i mean?
It's impossible for the Law to fail, LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE.
The Law of assumption is just like the law of Gravity, it happens because it is a Law.
"but Eli i have been persistin-đ˘"
Shut up, if you've been persisting you wouldn't come here whining and complaining on why you don't have it.
Persisting isn't fighting negative thought and ignoring the 3d, it's staying loyal and firm in your assumption no matter what happens, Because you know that your assumption is true, despite everything that goes against you.
So stop looking for it, because you Already have it the moment you said so.
Xoxo, Eli
