Two lovers have reincarnated throughout history, destined to find each other and fall in love all over again. There’s also this third guy that reincarnates alongside them… we don’t really know what he does.
So this is just an observation from someone who is pretty new to the fandoms involved and has just been consuming all the old vods from the Antarctic Empire days. But it seems to me that Technoblade's interaction with his chat is one where the chat demands chaos and he steadfastedly holds to a certain code of honor and decorum in spite of their demands. Whereas Philza's interaction with his chat, while there are demands for chaos from the chat, is much more of a give and take where Philza will sometimes act chaotically of his own accord because it's funny. Philza is basically a fae that will murder a man and laugh at his demise, where Techno spends more time resisting the demands for blood than actually going for kills.
All I'm saying is however much Technoblade would have no trouble crushing me in a fight, I'd much rather face him than Philza. Techno has rules and tries to follow them, Philza is far more of a wildcard despite his habitual caution.
your adopted sons are about to rat you out
Even if his big brother instincts tell him to, Sonic can’t make the “oh I actually found you in a dumpster as a baby” joke to Tails cause that isn’t that far from how they met.
'OSMP with Techno as the only human in a hybird commune' except it's also a literal isekai where the enderpearl malfunctioned during the prison arc so it's dsmp!Techno who somehow got transported into osmp but also specifically turned into a human which is hilarious to me
i'm going back to this moment with c!dream and c!techno and their discussion about church prime.
dream starts out by saying that he put the bell in church prime and techno questions whether or not dream can actually profit because he doesn't believe, calling dream a heretic and dream doesn't dispute the fact he doesn't believe. (which is interesting because it tells us two things 'primes' only go to believers and dream is not a believer, despite having seen a god with his face.)
what he does dispute, after a moment of thought, is the profit aspect, saying he might not believe but he's profiting off those that do. he even does a literal evil voice to say this. and techno's response is, 'but you're not', pointing out that everyone else is profiting off dream.
so, two things, right.
one, it's the hesitation and insistence at first from dream that he is, in fact, profiting off people complete with Villain Voice but when techno pushes the matter further, dream ends up relenting pretty quick and agreeing with techno that yeah, people are profiting off of him. both techno and dream have a history of backing down when the other says (techno at the green festival, for example) and it's interesting that dream seems intent to play this role right up until techno is like 'nah'.
two, techno says they're 'profiting off dream'. not that dream merely doesn't profit because he doesn't believe which would actually make a little more sense (because he's simply missing out on primes by not being a partner/believer). but no. techno says 'it's actually everyone else that's profiting off of you.' there's an implication of use that's really interesting to me because it won't be the last time that dream brings up people profiting off him going forward. he paints the torture as business. the fact he's alive at all is because people have something to gain from him. neither techno nor dream are wrong when they say people have profited off dream. and it's interesting and maybe a little more impactful coming from techno, someone else who has a history with being used by others.
just some thoughts.
